Al Qaeda had terrorists take flight classes in the United States. They became "good" enough at flying to successfully destroy both towers of the World Trade Center through kamikaze tactics alone. It wouldn't be beyond the reach of an extremist nation to learn how to fly more sophisticated aircraft, as long as they have the means to do so. But yes, helicopter-type vehicles would be more likely used.

Any and all Coalition members are allowed to participate in the war games.
However, which team you are is restricted. There are only 3 Coalition members, and everybody else is on the extremists group. Me, Bwitain, and Eonic are on the Coalition, so that team got closed.

Basically, if you want to participate, you have to be on the Extremists. Technically, that would mean that you are allowed to field a helluva lot more troops than we are, but it also means that you must use AK mocks, and cannot field as many vehicular and air units as us. Though you are allowed to field helicopters and such, not as much as we can.

It's not an already said thing, but I do think that, if you were to deploy ground vehicles (which would be rather difficult in the jungles), that you would be forced to use trucks for IFVs, and some REALLY outdated tanks for...well, your tanks. However, your troops' skills would stay the same, which means, if you have a better training than the rest of the Coalition forces combined, than you could beat us simply by using amazing skills instead of numbers or technological strength.

The yield of those tungsten projectiles is around 13.3 kilograms of TNT. Even if it were dropped straight down, they'd have impressive penetrating power.

Yes, "penetrating". Key word. It'll penetrate, alright, but that's it. All the force is going downward, not out.

It's similar to why NATO uses 5.56mm rounds as standard now instead of 7.62mm; even though the larger bullet has greater penetrating power, it has a tendency to simply pass through a target cleanly without doing any actual damage, while the lighter, smaller bullet will tumble upon impact and do lots of damage to internal organs. There ain't nothin' quite like shooting a guy in the chest with an M16 and seeing an exit wound on the back of the thigh.

Now, if one is really insistent on burning money on a "rod of god" system, the best approach would be to piggyback an explosive charge on a tungsten front-end. That way, you get the penetrating power, while also getting the explosion to actually exert outward force and destroy the target. Otherwise, you might as well just be using conventional bombers, as they're harder to shoot down.

Against ground forces, like tanks and infantry, yes. But the amount of structural damage those rods can inflict with their p.p. can easily destroy a larger target like a building or an aircraft carrier. Still purposeful, but still impractical. Its going to be very costly to place and reload those satellites if you have to ferry additional ammunition via space shuttle: and the rods themselves (assuming they're solid tungsten) are going to weigh something like 36 tons each.

We have found those locations and have begun to prepare the specialists to move to those locations and begin construction of the Uplink Sites. However, we would like to see an overall map to ensure that the Uplink Sites can cover and protect the entirety of your nation.

The Steel Coalition was unofficially formed during the Emperic-Scorpion war, in which 4 nations came together to break the growing force of New Scorpio and remove their dictator from power. These nations were Super bwitain, New Emperica, The ruvian empire and The Pyhrric-Annexed Bourgeois americas . When that war finally came to a close, the Emperican general secretary-Lustes-made an offer to the coalition that would prove to be beneficial to all sides, coming in the form of Military Protection, Trade and Technological advancement. However this agreement had a darker meaning, whenever Scorpio raised its' head to threaten the Coalition or any other innocent nation, They would take the cumbersome role of breaking the back of Scorpio and his Cronies once again. These responsibilities came crashing in the coalition in The taking of Halberd Pass, during which one of the newer members, Mikmodia, invaded Halberd Pass after serious Threats made against the Coalition.

Charter

ARTICLE I

a) Hereby defining 'imperialist' as a nation and/or person who seeks to further the boundaries of his/her empire for the sole purpose of power.
b) Hereby declaring 'imperialist' nations and leaders as the enemies of the coalition to a reasonable extent.
c) Nations falling under the definition of 'imperialist' (see 'a'), shall not be admitted to the Coalition, but exceptions may be made in the event of a powerful nation showing interest.
d) All member nations are subject to background checks.

ARTICLE II

a) Member nations are expected to trade with one another when the situation warrants.
b) Any major (civilian) technologies discovered are to be shared amongst members.
c) Any member found participating in 'imperialistic' behavior, or cohorting with imperialist nations/leaders will be subject to trial and possible suspension by fellow coalition members.

ARTICLE III

a) An attack on one coalition member is an attack on all coalition members.
b) A military response is mandatory should a fellow coalition come under unprovoked attack from any nation.
c) Hereby defining an 'coalition assault' as an attack in which the coalition itself declares war on a nation/alliance and attacks it.
d) If the coalition member was the aggressor, a majority vote is required for an official coalition assault.
e) Military technologies of utmost importance (that may turn the tide of a major war) must be shared when the situation warrants it.
f) Hereby defining a 'WMD' (Weapon of Mass Destruction) as a device designed to cause massive civilian casualties or the destruction of entire cities.
g) Any and all WMDs owned by coalition members must be reported in full to the Coalition.

ARTICLE IV

a) In the event of a natural (or any other kind of) disaster, aide must be sent (if able) to the afflicted nation(s) by other coalition nations.
