The Democratic Republic of Alogachia commends the greater pony nation for banding together in global friendship, and moreso in the face of oppression by beings with inferior capabilities of tolerance. However, the government of Alogachia is wary of a Princess-dominated alliance, and fears that such a union may have ulterior motives; viz., the government of Alogachia considers joining this ponyist federation to be potentially harmful to its experiments in progressive governance and to the ponies of Alogachia in their day to day lives, should Celestian leadership win out and Alogachia become but a colony. Please do not take this the wrong way, but Alogachia is a nation of strong backs and much pride, and it would be a grave disaster if I did not jealously safeguard personally the dignity and future of my own little ponies.

Your explanation is greatly appreciated, despite its content being less than satisfactory. The Weise Council of the Kirche des Hochreich has declared the Ponyist teachings to be blasphemous in their support of generosity and occult practices. However, the nobility of the Hochreich are still willing to engage in trade relations with the more secular elements of Ponyist nations. Additionally, any pratitioners of Ponyism should be forewarned that occult practices upon an individual that does not consent to them is legally recognized as attempted assault, and that such practices upon a person's property without their permission is considered vandalism.

Regarding Generosity: It is not generosity itself that is an issue, but holding it as sacred is likely to lead to the self-destructive extreme of generosity that is charity. To freely give of one's self is to forsake the opportunity for advancement and the development of social ties, pursuits that are encouraged by the Kirche des Hochreich.

Regarding Occult Practices: If unicorn magic is actually functional, that makes it all the more dangerous in the eyes of the Kirche and the nobility. It is an asset that can be used against governments, most of which have no knowledge of or countermeasures for such a resource. By the merit of it existing unicorn magic is dangerous beyond words, and legislation to ban its practice in Edlefuelle is currently being debated. If you or one of your fellows were to provide an objective summary of the capabilities of unicorn magic, including documentation to verify authenticity, it would help us to ensure that our response is reasonable.

OOC: Apologies for posting this twice but it appears that the last time I posted this, it got drowned out by the discussions that were going on between Urmanian and Alogachia.

Although our country itself does not itself practice ponyism and only 10% of the sapient population are ponies, we have one particular region that does have a pony majority and a regional government that practices ponyism. The Frangettera Autonomous Region of Thrucia, where pretty much the entire pony population lives, is independent from Thrucia on most matters and subject to very little tax, but the Thrucian Government is responsible for its defence and foreign relations. Would the Frangettera region be entitled to observer status or some other form of representation?
