To: The Coalition of Ponyist States
From: The Dictatorship of Grado & Their Ally, The Republic of Danmerc

We have been observing the phenomenon of ponyist states recently, and have decided to apply to join the Coalition. Our sister state, The Republic of Danmerc, has also decided to apply. As due, we have the application form you have provided for us:

DICTATORSHIP OF GRADO
Name of State: Grado
Number of Ponies Living Withing Your State: Recent census indicates pony population upwards of 100,000.
Do Ponies Act As a Major Part of Your Nation's Economy or Military: They have provided sound economical advice, which we plan to act on. Yes.
Do Ponies Have Equal Rights in Your Nation: Yes.

THE REPUBLIC OF DANMERC
Name of State: Danmerc
Number of Ponies Living Withing Your State: Recent census indicates pony population upwards of 300,000.
Do Ponies Act As a Major Part of Your Nation's Economy or Military: Danmercian ponies have a surprising aptitude for the military. Yes.
Do Ponies Have Equal Rights in Your Nation: Yes.

(Note: I am not the user behind Danmerc. He requested I do this for him.)

Well, the above is a sample, but I'm considering, thanks to Urmanian, doing a Nightmare Night party RP thread, for COPS members' heads of state/government, hosted by Luna (The obvious exception is Nightmare Moon; can't really invite the real Nightmare Moon) which would consist of a Halloween party, and a game of a Pony-themed Werewolf variant, in which the characters are either innocent villagers or Wicked Nightmare Moon Cultists. Because we seem to go through a lot of violent stuff on this forum, it'll be a non-violent (which is to say no one will be 'killed' in the party game, rather the cultists will 'convert' players, and the villagers will 'accuse' one another (and the accused will sit out as 'jailed.'

There will be more detailed explanation if folks are interested (I need about seven to run) and most of the 'action' of the game will be done by TG. I expect the thread about the party to run about a week to two weeks with daily (with one or two exceptions) posting or more frequent by myself.

Most of my reason for doing this is that for a MLP themed alliance, COPS unfortunately has to put up with an awful lot of belligerence, and I think it'd be fun to do something lighter.

Sweet, count me in.

As for Byzentania, Grado, and Danmerc, Behntasha votes in favor of observer status, with full membership to be evaluated later.

I'm already ignoring it ICly, because literally every political conference YellowApple has been involved in has eventually involved some form of violence, and I'm honestly fed up with it. This, being lightyears more mature of an IC alliance than most of anything else in NS from what I can tell, was the last place where I expected to have to once again deal with someone shooting/kicking/maiming/killing/whatever someone else in the thread.

I'm simply done with so many immature players derailing an attempt at a mature discussion every single freaking time YellowApple attempts to participate.

My suggestion to anyone who has brought catastrophe to a discussion thread, plans to, is contemplating doing so, or might contemplate doing so: don't. For the love of God, Allah, Buddha, Luna, Celestia, Discord, Flying Spaghetti Monster, and everything else that people consider holy, just don't do it. Please. It's getting real annoying, real fast. A conference can be interesting without completely wrecking it.

Name of State: The Queendom of SanCoeur
Number of Ponies Living Withing Your State: One to two million living in the SanCoeur area, due to problems with the small census paper-to big hooves, we have made the census form (dramatically) larger. That's right, no more hoof print problems for us.
Do Ponies Act As a Major Part of Your Nation's Economy or Military?: Yes, we believe that there is no real barrier between ponies, bronies, humans, and the like except form. We have many brave ponies putting their lives on the line alongside the men and women in the military for the sake of safety in our growing nation. Ponies and bronies alike can find that we welcome them with open arms.
Do Ponies Have Equal Rights in Your Nation?: Of course, just recently we went through a nationwide reconstruction to make everything pony-friendly.(We're still having problems with the bathrooms though, there have been many reported deaths of humans falling into the pony-friendly toilets...we'll work it out).

I know, I avoid doing stuff like that because it always happens, maybe I should hold a conference but make it known that shit like that gets you kicked, that needs to happen more often.
Note: Factbooks and Information will take place 30 years into the future from my International Incidents RPing. The dates the information will be in is at 2015 which is All RPing and 2035 which is the future and has not been taken to so it will only be used a few times before I get to the actual part of my story.

It can work of beforehand it is planned on, so that some sort of large-scale terrorist attack is the actual point of the thread and the summit is the means of getting people ICly where you need them OOCly.

But when it happens where it wasn't planned before, it distracts from the main point of the summit.

Not to say that it may not lead anywhere awesome, because I have faith in all CoPS members as RPers.

You can edit your posts, instead of posting right after with your PM's name.

AS FOR SanCoeur, we vote in favor of observer status, with full time membership pending later on.

OOC: The only reason I'm not doing full time this is because these nations are fairly low-post nations. Dunno how they'll actually respond, policy and military wise, you know? They can be upgraded fairly quickly I think.

So, I was hoping to regain my feet, RP-wise, and I figured that this would be the people to go to in order to avoid what happened last time I had an Intro thread.

The IC Thread, where RP quality across the spectrum is demonstrated.
The OOC Thread, made several pages later as things exploded in senses metaphorical and literal.

Basically, I'm throwing that entire mess into discontinuity, and hoping to start fresh. Well, the events of the thread into discontinuity. The fluff for my nation remains canon. I'd prefer friendly first arrivals.
