This thread got 12 freaking pages since this was first posted, so reposting:

Communism in its purest form is a viable alternate interpretation of the Elements of Harmony of Ponyist fame - specifically, that of Generosity. It is additionally hippocritical of the Coalition of Ponyist States to stand up against the persecution of Ponyists when our own members persecute those of other political ideologies. As the government of a nation exists to protect its citizens, no matter their opinions, as long as they respect the rights of other citizens, it is unfair for those whose political opinions are oppressed without providing a means to escape such oppression and exist in an environment conducive of their philosophies.

Thus, the Coalition of Ponyist States shall participate in a vote to officially condemn the anti-communist legislation enacted by the Hippostanian legislature. Each member nation will be entitled to a single vote either for or against an official Coalition-wide condemnation of said anti-communist policies. A 66% or 2/3 (two-thirds) majority of total votes will be required for the measure to pass.

If the members of the Coalition vote AYE, the Coalition of Ponyist States will officially be in opposition to Hippostanian anti-communist policy, and the governing body of the Pony Republic of Hippostania will be required to perform at least one of the following actions:

1) Repeal legislation outlawing communism and instead address communist-influenced cases of terrorism, libel, slander, murder, and theft individually;
2) Sentence confirmed communists with deportation to The United Socialist States of Marxist Equines, Hippostania's geographical neighbor, to any willing member of the Coalition of Ponyist States or any nation willing to accept said communists;
3) Temporarily accept demotion from MEMBER to OBSERVER status in the Coalition of Ponyist States.

If the members of the Coalition vote NAY, the Coalition of Ponyist States will hold no official opinion for or against Hippostanian anti-communist policy.

The voting starts now and ends on 3rd of November.

Behntasha votes AYE on condemning the anti-communist policy in Hippostania. Additionally, we'd be willing to accept any communists from Hippostania should they be deported.
