Apart from that, there is classic, medieval, folk, über-skogstroll folk, jazz, Irish-Welsh speed-fiddle, and ABBA.

Not too popular; "dance band" for old people, world music, schlager, muzak, bubble-gum pop, house and modern trance versions of one-hit-wonders

A bit of everything, although going by our charts, pop is still the most, uh, popular genre. Our most famous singers include Lára Valdís, Samantha Donukke, Vicious Victor, Chantay Shamlin, Alexa Ross, Anaïs, Élise Rousseau, Laura Stone, Charlie Charlatan, and Jacob Forst, many of which have taken part in CdLVision, one of the nation's most-watched TV shows.

The music industry has taken off in Rouge Pioneers after the national finals for "WorldVision 18". A 97 point victory for "cheesy pop" song "Do the Slipnslide" implies that this is a popular genre, but hard rock, pop and power ballads are also widely popular. Rap and R'n'B are not so popular.

Our music has Classical Christian Music (Gregorian Chants, etc.), Classical Music (Anything with the time-periods instruments), then a jump to punk, alternative, rock, and metal, and is beginning to take up a new form of music invented called 'Math Rock'. We listen to Pop-Punk and Post-Hardcore music. Huge festivals celebrating these styles are held throughout the year - state-funded of course. However, classical music is enjoyed by the proletariat and the burgious, and open-air concerts are help weekly - also state-funded.
