Don't... Just don't question anything Quantum level, because if you give me the opportunity to I will start to rage because god fucking dammit does shit get annoying when ANYONE begins going into that shit in any capacity
So the fact that the teleporters works off of Quantum Entanglement pisses you off to no end?
It's just whenever anything mentions Quantum Mechanics, we then have to deal with a field of science which we only just have a tiny grasp on. Like with your refined LIDAR, your telling me Zeta has a computer that is able to tell apart (let alone sense/record with just beams of light) every trace element in the entire ocean? Enough capacity to hold every electron from every atom of every partial of water in that section of ocean, apart from every neutron of every atom of every particle that makes up that sub, and being able to tell that part from all the elements of the fish, and the sand, and the plant life, or even the bacteria??
I am not saying that you couldn't, water is quite different than metal, but the idea that a computer would be able to hold all that data, be able to sparce it apart, and then present it in a GUI friendly format? It just... Bugs the fucking shit out of me, as for other parts about quantum mechanics... In the event two black holes enter each other's event horizon, there is a path one could follow that would allow them to go back in time to the start of that journey... That is the only part of Quantum Physics/Astrophysics I have let myself remember, because it reminds me why exactly I am not in that field, and why I shouldn't try either
