Lust and Wrath have been taken, yes, as has Pride, but it's not who ESC thinks it is, anymore.
Sloth is more than just simple laziness. It is also despair/Depression, and in its ultimate form, suicide, which overlaps with Wrath, true. For Sloth, I was considering a Dr. Death of sorts. One of the most singularly depressing men in the world to be around, someone who can examine your life, and encourage you to end it because of how wrong it's become. But Sloth, really wasn't ever planned to do anything notable, just, fill out the cast.
Same with Envy, though Envy would be seen more. Envy would be a man that almost unilaterally inspires jealousy in others, because he's a Super with only two skills, Extreme Good Luck, and Perfect Aiming. Meaning, he never misses, he never loses a bet or a gamble, and everything always turns out for him. Laughably, he has a twin brother, named Murphy, who suffers from Murphy's Law as a Super-Power. The singularly most unlucky man in the world.
Gluttony, I didn't have plans for, other than maybe someone who was good at cooking and liked eating. They were going to gain Cast Iron Stomach, which would allow them to eat literally anything, and not die from it.
Greed, good old obvious greed, like the multi-national banker who comes to fulfill it.
Then finally, Pride, once again, Pride.
Pride's more important than any other sin. Pride is one of only perhaps five people in the whole world, who could ever stand a genuine chance of uniting the world into a single government. Pride is perhaps one of the most gifted and eloquent speakers ever seen on Earth, yet will use the ultimate goal of both Rome, and The Ministry, to cause the single most terrible event in all of Creation to happen, because Pride's Loyalties have never wavered. If you are a gifted genius, and get all of the little hints I have dropped, and will be dropping throughout all of FoG1 and FoG2, then you already know what's going to happen. But then, you'd have to have Zeta level genius at least to figure it out, but not even Zeta will figure it out until its too late....
I am willing to let others be the other remaining sins, but only I, shall play Pride. Whomever Pride will be...
again, i vote Lou Evans for the role of Greed in the future, not only would it be a good way to tie a sub-plot into the main story, Lou really fits the role, the only reason he did the humanitarian work was only so he could acquire more
in the words of another person named Greed: "They don't call me Greed for nothing. I want money. I want women, status, and power. I want everything this world's selling and eternity's topping the list!"
