Looking back at FOG we shouldn't have done that: if we hadn't all been proper roleplayers things could've gone bad. Thankfully it didn't.
Indeed the FOG1 veterans have proven themselves to be capable of proper roleplaying (save for the ones who abandoned us: being able to write a good story is just half of it: feeling responsible for the roleplay you're participating in is the other half) so they should be allowed more freedom with their applications.
Also I'll start working on some of my character biographies. I'll insert a '[???]' where-ever I don't want to fill something in to avoid spoiling the details. The biggest spoilers have already been send to Jedi, and he has approved of them. I hope the other councilors trust his opinion well enough for me to not having to spoil those details to more people
Does that mean y'all want me to write an app for every Mason person and Lucas?
I do a lot for this RP, as you can see by the OP, and I'd prefer to not have to do that as well.

Well, I only meant main characters. Supporting characters, who won't play major roles, don't need an entire biography and background. Of course, there are and will/should be exceptions. Take the likes of Bardarus and Connor for example: both were and are supporting characters, however they were just as strong if not stronger than most of the main characters FOG1 has had. In other words, what I'm proposing is that main characters and strong supporting characters need biographies and need to be judged conventionally, while everyone is free to introduce other supporting characters.
@ Zarkenis: there indeed are, but being able to use soul-related powers should in my opinion remain an extremely rare power. Currently the only one who has soul-related powers is Dugal, a character who will arguably be the most powerful protagonist in the beginning of FOG2 and may very well remain so. But of course, don't make that stop you from writing an application. Perhaps we'll like it!

Just as a note to you Agadar, Dugal gave up the soul powers to get his wife and child back from the dead. He still has the White Flame, which is the reason for the Vatican hunt upon him, but otherwise nothing. Although in these 20 years, Dugal has perfected his swordsman skills, and still wields the blade of his ancestor.

Of course Dugal's soul abilities are a lot less now that his soul sword has been emptied by reviving his wife, but surely he hasn't gotten rid completely of what is basically one half of Matthew's Will?

Height:6' 2''
Weight:190
Eye Color:Burgundy
Hair Color:Black
Age:17
Powers: Ethereal Abilities,Telepathy
Description of Powers:Can generate ethereal weapons and shields.Ethereal weapons are different from energy weapons in the sense that it is possible to touch them with out injury, they maintain form even after the creator has lost focus on them and can be willed into different forms.Ethereal can also be brought in to a form of a simple energy sphere, blast,or stream of fire. Can hear thoughts and and speak telepathicly. In battle changes to guided intuition or empathy,he can DO nothing with the mind,he can just see it and present himself to it.
Abilities:Martial arts (specializing in a mastery of weapons, intermediate in hand to hand)and stealth.
Weaknesses:Holy water (a chemical weapon of the Vatican,it severs the connection with the ethereal, causing it to disperse)
Short Biography:Will be presented later.
Role-play Example:
Cain watched the robber as he fled.He saw the civilians, just standing in awe, doing nothing. He closed his eyes and brought into focus every mind on the block.
I thought it was in times of war you flea infested humans clung to your god.It seems repentance is just as lacking as justice in you he flooded every mind with.
He could feel the mind of the robber, after concentration. He was stopping to count his earnings.Cain followed the thief, taking turn after turn down the narrow streets. He came upon a small house in the slums of the city.As he approached the door he noticed two sets of small innocent eyes peering through the window. He reached again with his mind, and found the robber could see him,and he recognized him from the wanted poster throughout the city.He braced the door with a chair.
Cain left the robbers mind and returned to striding towards the door.Once he reached it,he placed his hand on it and will the flames in his body out, into a crude blast. The door gave way.
He entered the house,to find a father cowering in the corner with his two children and a wife.Once again he willed the ethereal in his body out, forming it into a sword."Up" he said as he pointed at the father with the sword, indicating with his head the he should stand against the other wall.He did.Cain hurled the glowing black sword at the father, and willed into knives pinning him to the wall.
"Death is far to lenient a punishment for you. Hell is a of suffering, not of swift death." Cain turned his attention to the family. He grabbed the mothers mouth, and forced it open.He projected his thoughts to the father as he fed the burning ethereal through her.He did the same to the children, and then turned his attention to the father. He willed the knife restraints into the sword again. He carved his mark into the victims wrist and watched as he bled out.

...Physics? Oh man! . Then again, woohoo, I don't have to do it myself! Also, I'm not sure if I should submit a biography too? It seems it's only for the veterans, but I'm not sure. I guess that'll come along later, though...
Lastly, if the first power seems like too much, know that at least I was honest.
Application
Character Name: Milus (Mih-loos). (Last name unknown)
Age: 22
Height: 1.76
Weight: 78 Kg
Eye Color: Left: Olive Green. Right: Light Brown. (Heterochromia)
Hair Color: Black
Powers: An advanced form of Telekinesis, "Soul Bullet".
Description of Powers:
First Power: In adittion to the usual "Push and pull and move around objects", Milus can use kinetic force to add pressure to an object by directing multiple kinetic force vectors towards the same object from several directions. He can also "Influence something that's inside another thing". This means he can, for example, move around an object that's inside a box, or something similar. This power, if used correctly, can be highly lethal, as it could, for instance, tear appart a man's heart. Milus, however, does not know this and would not use it unless absolutely necessary if he did.
Second Power: The "Soul Bullet" is a special power. It basically rips off a part of the user's soul and concentrates it in a deadly projectile that is then hurled at a bullet's speed towards the target. Said projectile is ethereal, so it defies all laws of physics. However, it is also lethal since it aims to completely shatter the foe's soul, although this COULD be avoided. Basically, a last-resort power, since parting with even one small part of one's soul can be very dangerous.
Abilities: Milus doesn't have any specific abilities, besides pheraps his great, yet still human, intelligence.
Weaknesses: Milus can't tolerate extreme temperatures, and he isn't exactly in the best physical condition. Additionally, he hasn't fully mastered his telekinetic powers yet, so, despite being highly unlikely, Milus could fail to use his powers, or worse yet, have them go out of control, even if only for a very short time.
Short Biography: Milus' mother died when he was born, leaving him as an orphan due to the fact that his father died while fighting on WWIII. He was taken in by his father's friend, a relatively wealthy businessman, who treated him as his own child. Milus had a good education. Eventually, Milus fell in love with his father's friend's daughter, who was his sister. Milus supressed this feeling for as long as he could, but one day, he just couldn't take it anymore. He was determined to tell her, but she was at a concert. On her way back, she suffered a car accident and died. This devastated Milus, who became very distant with his own father and the world in general. Eventually, his father died, leaving Milus as the sole heir to his vast fortune.
Role-play Example: Milus was calmly walking through the streets. It was another fine day, the sun was shining high in the sky, which was crystal-clear. Milus, however, did not care about these things, being the distant and somewhat indifferent person he was. Thus, he simply walked forward with the only thing in his mind being his wish to wrap up his business once and for all.
However, just then, he saw a robber broke into a jewelry store, threatening the clerk and running off with a huge stash, leaving the glass shattered on the ground. Milus considered the idea of taking advantage of this for a second, but he dismissed it quickly. He had enough wealth to maintain him well, he didn't need to do such unreasonable and deplorable acts.
Then, Milus considered other options. Calling the police would be useless. The robber was already getting away, and the police were, well, very good at slacking off. Walking off seemed like a reasonable enough thing, but it was rather mean, and the robber could have noticed him and make an attempt on his life in order to get rid of all witnesses.
Finally, he came to his last option. To pursue him. Milus wasn't exactly in the best physical condition, but he could easily run, and aid himself with his powers if he needed to. Besides, there was always the possibility that the jewelry store's clerk was a rather... Influential person, one way or another.
Thus, Milus began to run after the culprit, slowly catching up with him. When the time was right, he threw a trash can on the ground next to the robber, making him trip and fall to the ground. Milus used this oportunity to deliver a punch to the man's face, backed up by a strong kinetic impulse, which knocked the man down. He then picked up the jewels and walked back to the man's store.
Milus gave the jewels back to the store's clerk. The clerk thanked him, but Milus stated that it was his pleasure to help a fellow human being. Milus then asked the man's name, and after receiving it, walked away. "Mr. Roberts, huh? He could prove useful." Milus thought to himself as he walked towards his appointment. "I hope I'm not late."

Alright. I honestly didn't expect it to be so long.
It's one of those moments where I just idly type, look back, and say "P-P-PARADOX!"
And I might write a full-fledged biography, but I generally steer clear of that kind of thing because I am rather ignorant on many aspects of how the world works...
...Proudly.
