The spartan picked himself up and despite his massive headache he kept walking...weapon at the ready

Ten overheard Jason. He quickly spoke up, "That was exactly what I thought too. Should we go ask him? And by asking him I mean have Mason ask him again and me and Jason watch him from behind with our weapons ready."

[Mesarian]

Jason stopped both Mason and Ten from speaking by raising his hand in a 'stop' motion,
"No way in hell, not in here anyway - it's too close-qaurters, if it is actually Ferd there'll be too many casualties if we force him into a corner and he goes psycho"

[Legital]

"But we are in Duty headquarters! There will be back up if he goes crazy." Ten said rather angrily. He wanted Ferd dead. He was no good to anyone as a Demon.

[Ruskarkand]

The Female Dragoon turned her head, and looked to Carl.
"I am rather shaken if anything, never seen an emission like that in my few weeks in the zone."
She seemed to have a small tear going down the side of her face, indicating she was scared, she had no idea what was happening...

In the corner, Ferdinand sighed, as he unclipped the Gasmask slowly, a small flask of water in his hands.
"These fucking things, no drinking tubes or nothing."

At the Army Warehouses, the Freedomers looked to Solom, one of them spoke out in a friendly manner.
"Sure bro, tag along to the base, when you are there, you can unwind abit and buy yourself a new shooter."
They motioned for Solom to follow, before leaving the building.

[Mesarian]

Jason responded with equal anger,
"Look around you Ten! That guy has a dam Gauss Rifle, in here there's a bar keep and a half a dozen drunk Stalkers who can't fight for shit, if we force him into a corner in here these men may die and us along with them, you've seen how powerful Demon's are. If we confront him, we do it outside and with help from Duty"
He tried to keep his voice down as best possible but he was rather annoyed that Ten of all people couldn't see this situation from a tactical point of view

Frowning, Carl noticed a tear sliding from the female's eye before he said "That bad, huh?"

A look of concern was on the Therapod's face as he stared at the female.

[Legital]

"Eh, your right Jason. Sorry, I just want this s.o.b dead." He said to Jason apologetically.

[Goldsaver]

"Thank you, my friends."
Solom turned to follow the Freedomers.
"So... How would I join Freedom?"

"Yea, keep on your toes."

"It's ok, i want him dead too, but we need to be careful. Just think next time"
Jason said, tapping the side of his head, after this he walked over to the table he had been sat previously,
He began sipping the, now warm, beer that he had left there when he went outside to speak to Mason.

He was attempting to try and look as incospicuous as possible to the Merc,
if it was Ferd he really did not want to get into a fight with him, especially not with the gear he was now packing.

Mason looked at Jason then Ten, "Saftys off, if shit goes down, im not dieing without a fight."

Mason then removed his gas mask to let Ferd see that it was him, he had a tear in his eye, and he just kept the dead one closed.

Ten walked over to the table with Jason. He lowered his voice before speaking, "So, how are we going to do this? Just wait it out and follow him?"

The Female Dragoon nodded, blinking afew times to try and stop another tear from rolling down the side of her cheek.
"Sorry, I probably look a mess right now, I'm just not used to this zone, I want to leave, go back..."
She sighed once more, before hiding part of her face with her claw in embarressment.

Ferdinand removed his gasmask, completely forgetting the fact he was a Demon, hypnotised into believing he was the Mercenary he described himself to be.
The Dragoon set his gasmask down, revealing his scarred and pale scaled face, that of a Demons.
He opened the cap on the water flask, before taking a long swig of it.


At the road to the Army Warehouses, one of the Freedomers spoke to Solom.
"Joining Freedom is easy, just see our boss at the base, ask about signing up, easy as one, two, three, he will ask afew questions and decide whether you are Freedom material."

[Mesarian]

Jason took one more sip from his beer and replied,
"One of us should go talk to a couple of the Duty guards, alert them to the situation, and then we speak to the merc, try and get him to remove his mask. If it is actually Ferd, then we all attack at once and kill the basterd."
He then took a deep breath and called to Mason
"Hey, over here boss"
He motioned with his hand and tried not to call out his name as it may alert Ferd.

Mason walked over to Ferd, now sure it was him.

"Damn you got ugly. What do you want."

He then motioned to Jason to go and tell Duty what CAN happen

Sighing, Carl replied "Oh, I see. You're just scared, is all. We're all scared when we venture into unfamiliar places such as here. He then placed a hand over the one the female was using to partly cover her face, gently patting it.

[Goldsaver]

"Ah, seems easy enough. Lead on, my friends."
Solom kept following the Freedomers.

"Shepard... you fucking idiot Mason, Ten get out to the gate and get that Skull guy, his RPG would make this a hell of alot easier"
Jason said, quickly standing up and slinging his SIG Rifle to his hands, he walked over to the bar and turned the safety off,
pretending like he was going to complain that it was damaged.

Mason trying to hide his hate for him siad, " I dont want to fight, to many civ casualtys I just want to talk."

[Legital]

Ten froze, his eyes widening. He was furious at Mason now. Ten tried to casually move his hand to his blaster, trying to look inconspicuous as he walked past Ferd. He then ran down to "Skull" at the gate. "Hey! We have a fucking Demon in disguise at the bar! C'mon, quickly!" He motioned and then began to run back, looking to see if Skull was following.

The Dragoon froze, dropping the water flask to the floor.
Compramised. he thought.
He immediately darted up the Gauss Rifle, aiming at Mason.
"If you move, you can kiss goodbye to your center mass, sweetheart."

He smirked, adding on.
"Don't even think of shooting me, the only thing that could possibly penetrate natural armour and an Exosuit in one shot is the rifle I am holding."

The whole bar froze, looking at the small standoff.

The Female Dragoon smiled to Carl, slightly re-assured.
Before she could speak, she turned her head, to face the Dragoon who had brought attention to himself.

[Mesarian]

Within a heartbeat Jason spun to face Ferd and aimed his Rifle for the gas valve section of his helmet,
"Ferd, don't be an idiot, Duty'll be all over you if you start shooting"
He knew his Rifle would be ineffective but maybe it would buy Mason time to move.

Hurry the hell up Ten he thought to himself, he believed this could only end one way,
and that would be everyone in the bar being dead - not a very good thought but a realistic one considering the fight that would be bound to ensue.

Mason pushed the barrel out of his face, " I SAID I JUST WANT TO TALK!"

He then walked over to a chair and pulled it over and sat down, "So, whats it like? Being feared by everyone in the Zone?"

He looked at Jason, "STAND DOWN!"

Carl smiled as he could see the female become more confident in herself. However, her gaze and his own turned their attention to the Dragoon with the Gauss. "What the fuck?" Carl asked himself.
