Fall of Gods Act V: Diabolus Terminus

Postby Warhaven » Mon May 16, 2011 7:36 am

OOC: Absolutly no posting in this thread under any circumstances unless pre-approved by the council in the OOC thread. This is the final act of the first story. No new characters will be permitted. You can however, apply to get into the second story, which will begin a week after this thread finally ends in RL. BTW, Diabolus Terminus is Latin for "Devil's End", which makes sense if you've been following along the IC threads like a good audience.

First song track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heFojrUkf1Q < The entire track fits the entire post, with the wind up being the start of the battle.

With that, good luck, YOUR IN MY PLAYGROUND NOW!

IC:

In the beginning, there was Darkness and Light, it was the entire extent of the ancient world and all that primitive man knew. Then there was the scientific collective of Dr. Yamato Nasagori. And things changed.

At first, it was only small changes. Shamans and wise men began to actually be able to use the powers they professed to have. Others began to dream and think of new things. Thus was Civilization concieved of.

At some point in history, primitive man realized one of their own was hurting them, taking them away to a strange place with odd lights and doing horrible things to them. Man got together and formed the first tribe, cooperating under the vision of a single leader named Adam, and his mate, Eve. Thus was Nasagori destroyed for the first time, but the Collective wasn't done with the world, not yet.

The single tribe grew and swelled, until a voice of dissent within the tribe started talking. He wasn't happy with the way things were, he could do better.

The seeds planted by his voice took root and grew, until they fractured the tribe and sent it out across all corners of the earth.

Time passed, tribes grew, fought, and became nations. Still, The Collective continued its experiments on Earth, until Atlantis stole Collective technology, and rose up against the Collective. Nasagori's wrath was great, and in 40 days and 40 nights of natual disaster, Atlantis was wiped away never to be seen or heard from again.

Nasagori knew he needed firmer control over man, so The Hunt was born. Made of humans he recruited during his experiments, The Hunt spread out across the lands and crushed rebellion and dissent. Yet time and again, cultures rose against Nasagori, only to be wiped away.

Finally, two brothers fought Nasagori, and won. Peace was had for Earth, for a time.

Time passed, and civilization advanced into the computer age. Supers, people with power born from Nasagori's experiments on Earth, were becoming rampant, and Hunt adopted a new face. They were capturing rogue supers, or so they said.

Nasagori was again visible in the world. To consolidate his hold, he had his servant take over the nation of Londim, but the other great powers of the world rose up against him. In one battle after another, each of Nasagori's servants was destroyed.

Now, there was only Nasagori left...

.........................................................................

Nasagori winged his way through the world. He had taken the form of the great dragon from the book of revelations, a truly terrifying creature.

It had been 24 hours exactly since Reznov had been defeated. In revenge he razed New York City.

For a few days, the only thing in his mind was rage, and destruction. Now he had calmed enough from losing Genesis to think rationally. So he voiced his thoughts on the air, and his great booming voice carried to all corners of the earth.

"Let it be known that I tried to end things peacefully, and leave Earth forever more. Yet I was opposed by a church that desires naught but bloodshed. What else can be expected though, from those who were behind The Crusades?

Thus, since Violence is desired, I shall give it, and end my experimentation on Earth in a far more violent manner. Therefore I sentence all of Earth to destruction, and banish its entire length and breadth to The Void. Begone."

With a great roar that shook the pillars of the Earth, a great black hole enveloped Nasagori. Energy shot into it, as did clouds, and everything else in the local sky. It grew and expanded at a rapid pace, and touched the ocean, drinking it in.

Still it expanded, across lands, drawing entire cities into its black depths. It expanded across Rome last, and despite all their powers, not even they could stop The Void Nexus from expanding and drawing them in.

Then, nothing. Earth was gone. Only a lonely moon remained to mourn the passing of its lost friend.

...

Bernadette watched the great cloud of night approach in fear. As it drew nearer, everything seemed to ripple and fall apart.

She fell into a never ending abyss of night, and all things disappeared, as each sense lost input, even the sense of self. She was, gone.

In her heart, she knew that each other person was feeling the exact same thing, for all things were wrapped in this hellish blanket of Nothingness. They were apart of it, they were one with it.

...

How long had she drifted in this place of non-being? A second was an eternity, and eternity was a second. Did time even exist? What about space? Did anything exist? Did she exist? What about the others, did they exist too?

No. She was the only thing left. She was completly and utterly alone. A despair of great and profound strength settled over her. She had always believed she'd get to heaven when she died. Was that even possible here?

...

She had arrived at a plan. A simple plan, but it was all she could do.

"God, father of all things, save your servant from this black abyss!" she wailed.

She started, for her voice rippled across The Void echoing back upon her. Many people had faith, and believed, yet Bernadette's Faith was so profoundly great that it caused a reaction within The Void.

Light spread forth from Bernadette.

She was with Cardinal Bardarus, and his team of supers. Snowflake, Ansed, Max, the others, they were all here! They were being Drawn toward her by her light, tethered to her by the light her faith was causing.

Earth was in pieces. Parts of cities and landscapes stood here and there.
Bernadette prayed for a rock, and her prayer brought a large rock over for them to stand on. There were many pieces of Reality here, not just of Earth, but of other, stranger places. Alien vistas assaulted their senses.

Nasagori landed with a thwomp on a nearby rock, that was actually an entire asteroid the size of Charon, one of the two moons of Mars.

"And so, I find a small handful of wakeful survivors, here in the end." he growled in his dragonish voice.

"The wills of the apostle, they have the combined might of over ten thousand souls from their time of existence. In this place, I have the might of countless billions. One Googol times one Googol, and even more so. Their number is without any possible measure.

This place is The Void. It is the end of all existence, without exception. Even Gods have ceased to exist in this place. Universes, planets, stars, lives, civilizations, all that enters The Void, ceases to exist. All the Natural and Physical Law that you are familiar with, does not exist here. The spiritual and Metaphysical laws you believe in, and faintly understand, do not exist here. Chaos, in its myriad forms, does not exist here, nor does Life, Death, Good, or Evil. All you know and understand, has been rendered unto nothingness.

Thus ends all the struggles your world has pitted against The Collective. I would have left your world a perfect eden, where peace reigned absolute, yet you chose violence and an imperfect Hell. You are powerless to change your future now, for not one of you can override my control of The Void. Only The Spirit of Nothingness itself, the very spirit that is The Void you are within can claim to have more control over The Void.

Powerless beings, fall into the shadows of Despair, and begone." Nasagori said, as he turned to fly off.

"NO!" Bernadette screamed.

Her faith, her beliefs, everything she went to church for, she wasn't going to let some alien madman take it from her.

She clenched fists tightly, and believed that if it was true all the rules she knew were suspended, then it was equally true salvation could still be theirs. Only Nasagori needed to be taken care of to make that happen.

The broken shards of Reality from Earth and all other places not yet rendered fully into Nothingness started to come closer.

"Oh, you think you have a chance? Very well then, I shall render you all unto Nothingness, MYSELF!" roared Nasagori.

All seven heads let out another roar, and energy flashed behind him, revealing the countless souls lost to The Void, and they wailed, screaming for a salvation that never came, reaching for a hope they never had. Then they were gone, once more apart of The Void, and everything came together in a great maelstrom of energy, fusing all reality shards into one single super-reality comprised of everyone, and everything ever to enter The Void throughout the entirety of Time and its course through Existence and all the Multi-verse.

Dugal and Connor were worried all of the hard work had been for nothing, when the blackness overtook the world. All the battles, were nothing to the power of Omega. Then, light came. Bernadette's faith brought them from the abyss and nothingness, into light once more. And then Nasagori came. As a fierce some leviathan, but a physical enemy at least.

Dugal stumbled to stand back up, but slowly regained his senses. He looked off to see Nasagori on a distant rock. So this was it. The time had come. Dugal pulled his sword from it's sheath, and it burst into a shining blue aura, with a torrent of energy. The souls within the sword were angered. Nasagori had dared to take them into the Void. Connor stood up as well and looked around.

"So it is time."

Connor looked over at Nasagori, who was preparing to come after them.

"He has grown in power. When I faced Omega in Africa, he was not able to cover the world in the blanket of the Void. I hope we can defeat this monster."

Connor's eyes glowed red, starting to seethe with power. Dugal held his sword up, and pointed it at Nasagori. They were prepared. To face the final wrath of Omega Nasagori.

When the blackness came, Snowflake panicked. She was unsure about what had happened. One moment she was stood with her comrades, the next she was watching a black entity envelop everything around her.

She gulped nervously as the blackness came closer and closer. Although she had tried to run, it had no affect and within moments, the darkness had engulfed her body.

Sight. Now, more than ever, she appreciated her sight. But in this black space, she could see nothing. Then, as if out of the bible itself, a light began to glow from Bernadette. It dazzled and amazed her, almost hypnotically. It was a pure, awe-inspiring light that seemed to flood her body with warmth and comfort. Because of all this, Snowflake began to walk towards the light.

Once she had reached the area, she noticed the others beginning to assemble and gather. A smile grew on her face but this was short lived. With the sight of Nasagori himself, her whole body began to shake violently. Not through a medical condition, but through fear. fear itself is a powerful tool in the right hands but Snowflake did not handle fear well.

Slowly, she began to stagger back, seeking safety in those around her. Deep down, she knew she would have to fight this beast but she wanted to prevent that from happening for as long as possible. At the end of the day, she was like all humans. Fear was taking over her and she had seen far too many people die from being heroes. She would be sensible but when the time came, she would through her life at it...

After what appeared to be an eternity, Bismarck finally awakened from the strange trance he'd been put in when the Earth had been pulled into the void by Nasagori. He found himself floating in what could only be described as nothingness. Almost as soon as he began looking around him, his feet touched something solid. The cardinal was now standing on some sort of plateau, albeit still in complete darkness. In the distance he could see two feint lights, though both of the lights were giving off a completely different sensation. One of them felt exactly like Bismarck's Peter's Will: it was undoubtably Dugal's Matthew's Will Bismarck was sensing. The other light however felt very strange to Bismarck, though he somehow recognized it. It was this second light which became brighter and brighter, until Bismarck suddenly found himself standing next to Bernadette, who turned out to be the source of the second light. The cardinal looked to his left, and saw that Dugal, Connor and Max had also already arrived. Bismarck could now feel the presence of the other heroes approaching as well. He looked at Bernadette. She truly was a mysterious woman.

Turning to face Nasagori, Bismarck said: "This is it, my friends and allies. This battle will decide everything. Our future. The future of the world. The future of mankind. We must not fail here. We cannot fail here. Everyone and everything we love is depending on us. We shall fight this beast, and we shall defeat it. When we go home, our loved ones shall celebrate our victory and our safe return. Until then, we fight, and we fight with everything we've got, for we are all that stands between Nasagori and those who are waiting for us back home!" The cardinal unbuttoned his traditional robe, revealing battle armor similar to what Max was wearing, though with several major differences: large sections of Bismarck's arms and chest were exposed, revealing his bare skin. Strange, thin white-glowing lines which looked like tattoos suddenly appeared all over his body, including his face. The large scar spanning from the right of his forehead down to the left of his chin had also begun to glow. Max gazed at the cardinal with amazement. It had been years since he had seen his mentor this serious before a fight. Bismarck turned around and looked Snowflake in her eyes. "Do not fear, my child. As long as we are alive, we shall not allow this monster to harm you. You have my word." The cardinal smiled kindly. Even in his battlegear and covered with strange glowing tattoos, the old man's smile still felt warm and reassuring.

The others probably felt like an eternity had passed. Eila, however, had been in and out of the Gapworld - or, as Nagasori called it, the Void - much of her life, so she could tell it was only a few minutes. She stood up and noticed a blinding light with Nagasori in front of it. "So the seven-headed salamander thinks he can boss us around in my little world? I hope he brought a hospital, 'cause he's going to need one when I'm through with him." She jumped about the floating rocks with the agility of a cat, heading towards the others. She finally landed next to Bismarck. "So that's Nagasori. I always imagined he wouldn't look so overdone."

Bernadette prayed silently, her eyes closed, her hands clasped together. The light from her shimmered, became apart of The Void, and the great Maelstrom subsided to reveal, Rome.

Except, already The Void was eating Rome. Buildings were fading in and out of being, the people were stuck, frozen in place, still, living statues that would only be victims if they didn't succeed in saving Nasagori.

The tops of all the buildings were twisted, spiraling upwards as they disappeared piece by piece permanently.

Nasagori himself appeared atop The Vatican, the heroes, atop nearby buildings.

Head 1: Launched a salvo of normal Fireballs at the heroes

Head 2: Used a beam attack in a sweeping arc comprised of pure phased energy

Head 3: crunched down on a flying rock, swallowed it, then breathed a particle stream at the heroes, each particle traveling several hundred miles an hour.

Head 4: Launched a salvo of Metal Arrows, traveling as fast as Bullets

Head 5: More normal fire, this one in a Jet.

Head 6: Breathed Water, in an extremly pressurized, superheated jet.

Head 7: Breathed a noxious cloud that passed through a random roman and dissolved him to a puddle of goo. The cloud kept going for each of the heroes.

The right claw went for Bernadette, and missed as Bernadette ran away.

The Left Claw went for Elia.

The Tail went for Snowflake, and would strike with all the force of a whip, traveling fast enough to cut her in two.

The Left wing went for Max.

The Right Wing went for Dugal.

Dugal was amazed to find themselves back in Roma. Bernadette was gifted indeed. Then Nasagori unleashed his onslaught. And what an onslaught it was.

Dugal countered the fireballs by expertly dodging each ball of flame, not taking any hits. The beam attack then came thundering in, which Dugal blocked with his sword, directing it into a nearby building. The rock came flying in, which Dugal also deflected with his sword, but some bits hit Dugal's legs, causing him to grimace in pain. This was followed immediately by a volley of metal arrows, which Dugal bent backwards to dodge, the arrows flying over him, barely missing. Then a jet of fire bursted in, followed closely by water. Dugal raised his sword up, deflecting the flame at the water, causing it to evaporate. Gas came blowing in, which Dugal didn't want to attempt to deal with. He released his sword, becoming a spirit again, allowing the gas to blow through. The rooftop began to decay slightly, but held stable enough. Dugal became stable again, right as Omega's right wing(OOC: Lol, I'm republican) came slicing at him. Dugal rolled backwards, and then stabbed his sword down into the wing, trying to pin it to the rooftop.

Meanwhile, Connor was dealing with the onslaught in his own way. Connor dodged the fireballs in a manner similar to his son, showing their similar body types. Connor then met the energy beam with his own energy, blasting from his eyes, causing an explosion. Smoke covered the rooftop Connor was on, which didn't help him in dodging the rocks. Fortunately, he narrowly avoided them. Unfortunately, a metal arrow then went straight into his chest, followed by surrounding him with other metal arrows. Connor blasted them to bits, followed by tearing the arrow from his chest, and thus his clothes, revealing rather high tech armor. It was foreign to everyone there. It did not belong to SPECTRE, HUNT, or even Nasagori's private armor caches. A jet of flame and water blasted in, which Connor had to dodge, leaving holes in the roof where the elements had gone. Then came the cloud. Connor quickly clicked a button on his suit, causing a helmet to form over his head, followed by blue foam covering the suit. The gas cloud rolled in, and ate away the blue foam, but left Connor intact. Connor retreated the helmet, to see Omega no longer attacking him. Connor smiled, and then a huge beam of red energy erupted from his eyes, straight towards the body of Nasagori. Let's see if Nasagori remembered the sting of the laser.

Bismarck looked over his shoulder at his allies, Bernadette in particular. He knew they needed her to give them the time to defeat Nasagori, but her life was at stake if no one was there to protect her. The cardinal nodded at Max, who immediately understood what Bismarck meant with it. The young inquisitor phased into his mist form, appeared right behind Bernadette, and phased back again into his mist form together with her, just barely missing Nasagori's left wing which came crashing down. Several dozens meters further away Max and Bernadette materialized again. The inquisitor made sure that she was alright before giving Bismarck a thumbs up. The cardinal then turned around to face Nasagori.

Bardarus Bismarck closed his eyes and focussed. It had been a long time since he had awakened his inner powers. As he concentrated, the tattoos on his chest and arms began to glow brighter and brighter until small white flames began to erupt from them. His fists as well became engulfed in white flames. He cracked the bones in his hands and neck as several of Nasagori's gigantic fireballs were coming right at him, and then assumed a strange fighting pose, as if he was preparing to jump. Just when the closest fireball was about to hit him, he suddenly disappeared. Or did he? The fireball which moments before was about to hit Bismarck had been cut in half: most peculiar, considering it was a concentrated flame and nothing else. If one was to look closely one would see a stripe of white flames going from where the cardinal stood a moment ago right through the ball of fire and onwards, and indeed, there was cardinal Bismarck flying straight towards one of Nasagori's heads with an unbelievable speed, concentrated flames bursting out of the palms of his hands blasting him forth like a fighter jet. When he was in close proximity of one of the beast's heads, Bismarck made his right hand into a fist and prepared to deliver a great blow: an intense white flame of the purest quality engulfed his fist as he punched.

As the balls of fire propelled themselves towards her, Snowflake combatted them with water. This was the beauty of her power, she could just use the opposite element to fight it. Seconds later, she noticed the beam of energy hurtling towards her. Instinctively, she leapt to the floor and made her body as flat as possible; allowing the beam to pass over her and not cause any damage.

The next attack saw particles of rock flying straight at the group. She launched streams of water at the rocks, soaking them. Once they were soaked, she froze them so they became ice. This allowed them to be smashed easily. As the arrows launched themselves, Snowflake used her power of wind to rise above them; keeping her safe from that attack.

Afterwards, a jet of fire began to surge from the beast's mouth and once again, her water managed to save her from the attack. The superheated jet of water was more difficult and, although she darted to the side, part of the stream hit her leg; causing her to grimace in pain.

The cloud worried her. It was coming towards her quickly and she didn't know how to stop it. She had seen Connor survive it, but he had some kind of armour and foam. Panicking, she began to stress and worry. "Stop it Snowflake!" she told herself. She rationalised her thinking and dropped down to the floor; allowing the cloud to pass over her.

It was then that she noticed the tail coming at her. There was no chance she could escape this, or was there? She used her power of the wind to launch her into te air and then came back down; landing on the tail. She gripped it with all her strength and once the tail raised slightly, she leapt onto Nasagori's body, heading for the heads...

All Seven Heads whipped out Hellfire, spreading it across the immediate area and the air especially towards Cardinal Bismarck, and covering Nasagori's body with it. The Dragon wasn't visibly harmed by it though, and all four of Snowflake's elements would be unable to put it out. It would just keep spreading, and spreading, unless met with White Fire, at which point the fires would neutralize each other wherever they met. Otherwise Hellfire simply would not stop burning.

The Left Claw went for Conner, the right for Elia, the tail went for Bernadette, who failed to escape and was sent tumbling to the ground.

Meanwhile, both wings went for Max as a single attack, coming in from each side.

Secretly, Nasagori's scales weakened due to The Hellfire covering them. Extremly strong attacks could break his scales, but his weakest point remained the underside...

Eila easily dodged the first attack from Nagasori by moving a boulder to her advantage, and she jumped out of the way of his second attack as well. "Nice try, super salamander, but you can't catch me." She found a sufficiently large boulder within her field of vision. It obviously wasn't going to hurt him, but any little bit would help. She flung it towards Nagasori.

There was nothing she could do. The hellfire was coming straight towards her and she couldn't stop it. Although she had launched pint after pint of water, her efforts were futile. The hell fire was just too powerful and there was no way she could stop it.

As she couldn't do anything, she just leapt from Nasagori's body. She began to flatten her body onto the floor, hoping that the hell fire would be combated by one of her peers before it could reach her and cause serious, agonising pain...

Eila watched Snowflake jump and moved a boulder in the path of the Hellfire to buy her some time. Jumping back from Nagasori's reach, she shouted, "Dammit, Snow, stop trying to be a hero!" She then went back into range and flung another boulder at Nagasori, this time aiming for his legs.

Just when Max thought he had brought Bernadette to safety, Nasagori swung both of his gigantic wings at them, the beast's limbs so great that they almost seemed to be going in slowmotion. The inquisitor grabbed Bernadette once again and jumped forward as he phased the both of them into a mist, just barely escaping the attack. They materialized again on a floating piece of rock and stumbled down. Max quickly stood up again to watch the battle and keep an eye out for Nasagori's attacks. From atop the floating rock they looked down upon the mighty devil and those who were fighting him. It was as spectacular as it was terrifying.

Meanwhile Bismarck's attack was deflected by a wave of Hellfire launched by the beast. The cardinal spread his arms and opened his hands as he focussed: a sphere made of White Flames formed around him, protecting him from Nasagori's fire. Bardarus quickly noticed however that the Hellfire was neutralizing his own flames. Was this the doing of Nasagori's fire? Realizing that having to continuously fuel his protective sphere wasn't worth the energy, the cardinal suddenly spiked his energy, unleashing the sphere, causing white flames to spread all around him, neutralizing the Hellfire in a large area. He then landed on one of the many floating rocks. Nasagori truly had an enormous amount of raw power. Attacking him head on had already been proven ineffective during the first few moments of the fight. They had to come up with a plan: surely the creature had some sort of weakness?

Dugal barely managed to hold onto his sword, as Nasagori lifted his wings and sent them at Max. Dugal held on though, and went with the wings at Max. Max phased through, and Dugal took the opportunity to pull his sword out and jump over to the rock Max and Bernadette were upon. Dugal then raised his sword, noticing Bismark killing the black Hellfire, with White Flame. Dugal took to this notice, and wreathed his blade in White Flame. He then blasted a large stream of White Flame straight for Omega's maw.

Connor's eye attack barely hurt Nasagori at all. He simply sent his left claw at him. Connor backed up, and then blasted the underside of the claw with energy as it went over him.

The boulder headed for NAsagori, and in an incredible combination of luck and skill, it hit the underside.

Nasagori bellowed in pain, his wings holding his underside. Thus the truth was revealed. The topside was all but impervious to attack. Nasagori himself had large amounts of power, so a frontal attack wouldn't work. It was his underside that was his weakness.

In retalliation, each head whipped out seven different spacial attacks, bending all of space into a life-like representation of Escher's "Relativity"

With direction destroyed, a claw went for Bardarus, another for Snowflake, and the tail went for Elia.

Bismarck saw how Nasagori reacted to the boulder hitting the beast's belly. Was that his weakness? The cardinal was about to launch himself towards his enemy when all seven heads whipped out a different attack, distorting reality and the laws of physics. Bardarus felt a strange sensation and looked back, but Max, Bernadette and Dugal had all disappeared. When he turned to face Nasagori again he saw that its claw was coming for him. The cardinal flew up using his white flames, but noticed that no matter how high and quickly he flew up, the claw still seemed to be heading straight for him. He had no choice but to block it. Bismarck put his right foot forward and aimed the palm of his right hand at the incoming claw. He focussed for a few moments, then suddenly unleashed a massive wave of White Flames at the claw. Using his left hand the cardinal fired a much smaller version of the same wave in the opposite direction in order to prevent himself from being pushed back by the sheer power of his attack.

Despite the clearly perilous situation, the first thought Dugal had when Escher's painting became reality, was a bit from the American cartoon Family Guy.But then his mind focused on the battle. He had noticed that the boulder had hurt Nasagori more than other attacks. The underside. It must be a weak point. He took advantage of the fact that Omega was focused on other fighters, and launched a huge stream of White Flame directly at Omega's underside.

Connor was very aware of the weak spot now. He switched his eyes to a thickness vision, revealing that the underside of Omega was not as thick as other parts of his body. As to the reality bending, he payed it little mind. He was used to this sort of thing from Nasagori by now. Connor shot a normal sized beam of red energy from his eyes, towards a different part of the belly than Dugal.

Eila barely dodged the tail in time, and her balance was thrown off by the Escher-painting physics, if only a little. She moved a boulder to catch her, and shakily stood up. "Jesus Christ, I feel dizzy." The boulder to the underside had clearly caused Nagasori pain. If that was a weak point, well, that makes things easier. She found the train she had slammed into Reznov earlier (At least, what was left of it), and started that heading towards Nagasori's front legs.

Seven heads. A fucking dragon. Great. Breail mused to himself on the inside as the dragon that was once nasagori unleashes hell upon the fighters. Fires of hell and the mighty beast's mass destroyed all in their path. It looked invincible, but Breail knew better. Breail stepped forward, his hand outstretched at the great dragon. Then came fire.

His hand ignited, unleashing a blue torrent of fire, a massive blast of psi flame the harbinger of destruction as it darted at the massive dragon. With that done, Breail quickly moved, drawing his sword, preparing to attack.

Dazed and confused, Snowflake had no sense of direction and rapidly became disorientated. She attempted to figure out her surroundings to no avail and soon found herself struggling to find forward from backward.

Eventually, her mind became accustomed to the strange attack and she she steadied herself, feeling dizzy all the while. Just as she was recovering, one of Nasagori's claws cane flying towards her. She tried to leap out of the way but she failed. The claw hit her dead on, sending her high in the air and launching some distance.

When she landed, she grimaced in pain. She could see the group faintly in the distance but she was too tired to move, for now

First came Bismarck's counter attack, which injured Nasagori's claw, then came Conner and Dugal's attacks, which pained Nasagori, Conner's eye beams actually drawing blood.

Then came Elia's train.

One head grinned, and gobbled up the train as it came, swallowing it whole like a giant spagettie noodle.

Seconds later, a particle stream traveling at Supersonic speeds came back from that same head for Elia, the particles being comprised of the train.

The other six heads launched balls comprised of the same four elements Snowflake welded, creating a massive cloud of attacks that headed for all comers.

The uninjured claw went for a retalitory strike against Conner.

Finally, the tail ripped open a hole in the Void, and from it came a Meteor Shower, the massive blazing projectiles of rock striking down all over Rome.

Dugal looked up to see the meteors raining over them. How odd he thought. Dugal raised his sword, and began to blast meteorites with soul energy, turning them to shards. Dugal then noticed a claw going for Connor. Dugal pointed his sword in that direction, and a stream of White Flame burst forward. Dugal cracked it back like a whip, and then flipped it and it wrapped around Nasagori's claw. He pulled, holding it in place for now.

Connor took advantage of the opportunity given by his son. He jumped up onto Omega's claw, and ran along it, down the leg of the beast, blasting Omega's scales as he went. When he reached the joint, he swung under and onto the other side. He now directly faced the belly of Omega. He closed his eyes, and then opened them, sending a large beam of red energy straight into the stomach of Omega.

Bismarck clenched his teeth as he watched the meteors heading for Rome. Nasagori wasn't aiming for his opponents: he was aiming for the city. The cardinal wouldn't allow the destruction of the holy city and the deaths of its civilians. He held his hands on waist level as he charged one of his signature attacks, Firestorm, which involved not only the power of the White Flame, but also his innate power which he had possessed since birth. Indeed only few knew of this power, for Bismarck rather relied on his efficient White Flame than on his slightly more destructive but far less efficient Lightning powers.

The cardinal pushed his hands forwards, releasing a massive and continuous beam of White Flames surrounded by lightning which completely evaporated anything it touched. It swept through the sky, obliterating nearly every single meteore. For a split second, Bismarck's eyes turned dark blue and back again. When the beam faded, the cardinal noticed one of the elemental balls coming straight at him. He turned to face it and punched it with the strength of a giant, causing it to blow up violently right in his face. It failed to do any damage to him however. Bismarck had become furious at Nasagori for attacking the civilians of Rome. He charged at the beast, propelling himself through the air with great speed using his flames. If he could get beneath Nasagori's belly, he could unleash a firestorm directly at its weakest spot.

As she staggered to her feet, she noticed the attacks. At the moment she was was too far away for any of the attacks to cause her damage, but she felt the pain of those who were currently fighting Nasagori.

Slowly, she limped over to where the battle was occurring. Within moments, she had regained full conciousness and was ready for whatever Nasagori would throw at her. The elements were reigning down all over the place and she dived and darted all over the place to avoid the onslaught of attacks.

It was then that her and Bismark obviously had the same brainwave; aim for the underside. She ignited herself in the strongest flame she could muster and charged straight towards his underside, hoping to cause some damage...
