Horo and Hina very diplomatically had no reaction to the sudden outburst from under the table, although the glint of mischievousness in their eyes was clear to see.
Horo quickly took her glass and passed it under the table, to the very drunk entity below.

"Well then," Hina said as this took place, "I'll allow our hosts to choose the next topic".

Meanwhile...

The two were still locked together, but Eucliwood started writing.
"I'd imagine you are now in jeopardy. I would like to invite you back with us to Saubreme, or either of out two allies. Make your choice while it is still safe to do so."

...pass this honor on to our guests from Arrnea.

Meanwhile in a study, beneath a desk.

I can't go to Saubreme, it would be an incident and an insult to our Empress. That I can't do. Please don't try to save my live while my honour goes down the gutter...

Eucliwood shook her head
"What is honor to a dead body? Does the Empress really value you? Did you not follow the events that just transpired? You have done nothing wrong, and yet you are persecuted. The Paloe Bloc will protect you..."

Inside the hall, neither Horo nor Hina said a word, whilst they waited for Siegstirfry to speak. The moment of lucidity in this time was only halted when a certain drunk Haruna started doing unspeakable things to Horo's tail. That garnered quite a reaction.

But what's there in a life that's not honorable? There's only one thing I can do...

She grabbed her letter opener.

If the Empress has no use of me anymore...

Eucliwood tore the letter opener from Marina's grasp, and threw it full strength across the room, leaving a gaping hole in the wall.

"Fool" she wrote, before kissing her full on the lips. Their relating desperations clung to each other, and they locked themselves in a lover's embrace. Their actions were primeval, and there was nothing at the time that could've prevented them from what they wanted to do. Over and over, again and again, the repression that they both felt gave them the feel of kindred spirits - once two, now their bodies were entwined as one. True love blossomed.

After this embrace, she looked at Marina straight in the eye -

"Is it really the end of the world that you temporarily have lost your Governer General position? Could it not be pulled back from her clutches? A well versed letter should do the trick. I shall construct it in Saubreme when this farce has ended. If you feel in danger, feel free to come to us."

This written, she kissed Marina once again, and left to the hall, whereupon she merely sat in her seat, and continued her bored stare at the wall"

Marina Lionin, once Governor General and Fürstin, was now sitting in her table lifeless, her eyes gazing into the far without really focusing onto something. Her mind was blanc, it was nearly dead, it seemed. But deep down the neurons raced and her thoughts of worthlessness darkened her mind. What was that? A tiny light sprung up, what was that? It was warm and gentle, Marina wanted to hold on to it. She embraced it in her mind and found her spirit again. She slowly got back to earth again, brought her clothes in some ordered shape again and was aware of her wishes.

But were there is light, also the shadows grow stronger and loom around, waiting for their chance to corrupt the heart.

"What are your opinions of the Holy Order and its allies in Kitago, Nishinomiya and Nova Jerna?" asked Siegfried of the two ladies remaining at the dining table with him.
"I'm curious to hear about the opinions of our neighbours with regard to our nation. I find it helpful to know where everyone stands when conducting relations between nations" he continued, smiling.

Right after he asked his question, one of his bodyguards entered from the next room, walked up to the Emperor and whispered something in his ear. Upon hearing whatever was said, Siegfried frowned almost imperceptibly and then switched back to his smile when his gaze returned to Hinagiku and Horo.

Horo opened her mouth to speak, but was immediately interrupted when Haruna suddenly jumped onto her lap, smiling like a Cheshire cat. Whilst Horo fussed around with as to what were Haruna's intentions, Hina took the lead of their side of the discussion.

"We see no problems with the Holy Order and its allies, although we have heard tales of their economic might. Alas, we have little information on other nations apart from our own, Charlotte land thing place and the Pasloe Pact, that being us, Sauville, Greater Yoitsu and possibly the Forests of Yoitsu. We are kept under... lock and key, so to speak. Keeping to the general theme, what is your opinion of the nations in the Pasloe Pact?"

By now, Haruna had fought with Horo, and now sat on her lap, the genius drunkard, now comfortable.

"I hope my lap is more comfortable than the floor!" said Horo, a strange smile upon her face.

"To be honest, I haven't seen that many reports concerning the Pasloe Pact. All I know is that they are a group of small, relatively isolated nations. It is good to see them making diplomatic contacts" said Siegfried, making no comment on what he'd heard from the bodyguard earlier, who remained in the room, standing by the door.

"By lock and key, you refer to your current state of subjugation at the hands of the Transvulkanians, I presume."

Well I don't see Pasloe subjugated. And we already have made major comitments to Saubreme. Our view on these blocs is more like that of friendly neighbours. After all we can trade and prosper together., answered Albrîn sharp and quick.

Meanwhile at the first floor...

Marina was going to attend the party again. She just entered the floor and walked slowly towards the staircase down. She didn't see how behind a statue of the St. Hina that stood in the hallway, someone awaited her already.

"One might comment on the Palkvanialands actions. They 'liberated' us from them, we were placed back under them. Many people find it hard to understand what actually happened. But, I digress. The Pasloe Pact in itself is a liberation though. We're being forced into a corner, and the Pasloe pact is on the other side of the wall behind us... The Pasloe Pact is basically a group of utter trust between the three of us. Whatever the consequences, we will aid each other. A double-edged sword, one could call it. Alas, it may be time to call upon it, judging by the path of which the impending dialogue will take..."

"Well, I certainly hope that this can end without additional violence. My allies and my people will not look kindly upon additional war tearing through our region" said Siegfried, scowling.

Well, we wouldn't declare it. After all, what would the gain be from a heap of corpses. Our own corpses? So may St. Hina save us and peace, that is fragile in these last days. Maybe we could increase our diplomatic bonds though. We are hopeful, Pasloe may be a good event. Also our newest treaty with NEATO got us one step closer to peace., agreed Albrîn, sipping her tea.

"Peace? Palkvania? I'm going to ignore this blatant oxymoron" muttered Horo, loud enough for the table to hear. "Let's hope one day that this backwards world of hypocracy, idiot facades and war just ends soon."

And I hope that this rabble dies out soon., Albrîn muttered into her tea, just so that one couldn't hear. Then she gazed sideways to the door shortly, to then focus on Holo again.

At the first floor Marina went towards the staircase when suddenly a person blocked her way. She knew it. Quickly she turned around in an attempt to flee, but it was too late, her enemy stroke her down quickly and a sign was given, whereupon Maid Kampanin entered the dining room serving new tea. It was black tea. Albrîn knew the operation was successful. Marina was in Transvulkania in just a few hours.

Haruna finally did it. She just vomitted on Holos lap. They were right. They were right. I feel like dying...

Horo was able to feel when Haruna's need to vomit was to become reality, and had quickly and diplomatically thrown her under the table. She then looked at Eucliwood, the tea, and the door she had seen Albrin look at and said nothing.

"Well" said Hina with a bright smile on her face. "This is the best tea party I've ever been to! Colon Capital-D!"

As the Saubremiens and Panvulkanians traded insults across the table, Siegfried simply sat and listened. The events that had occurred in this region of the world were regrettable to all and had obviously ruffled a considerable number of feathers, especially on the Saubremien side. Glancing up briefly at his guard standing by the door, he nodded almost imperceptibly. The guard displayed no immediate reaction to his gesture, but several moments later turned and exited through the doors of the dining hall to speak with the other member of the security entourage and make sure the driver was still in the Imperial motor vehicle, ready to go if they needed to make a quick exit.

The other guard, standing near the main stairway of the Governor-General's residence, had seen the Panvulkanians' abduction of Marina and had noted every detail of the event, in case it became important later. In the guard's heavily-regimented mind, there was nothing that should be ignored. Every single detail could prove vital at some point.

"I've certainly been to worse tea parties than this, Ma'am" said Siegfried, in response to Hina's comment.

There were some people behind the mansion wearing Miko clothes and having their hair tied in a ponytail with a ribbon. As it seemed they carried some bag to a black car. Soon they were done and this bag wouldn't ever see the sun again. After they loaded it on, the car drove off, and the crying of an owl was to be heard. Now there was no return for the bag anymore.

Meanwhile at the table...

Well, I'm happy to hear this. Altough I'm also sad that our host, Fürstin Lionin had a really important task to attend to. She just left I heard., Albrîn said, while wearing an evil smile.

Horo started laughed and laughed, a noise which could've been beautiful, but this time carried a silent edge of malic. She couldn't help herself; the laugh of one gleefully trampling the dreams of another came from inside her and out into the open.

"You don't get it... do you?" she said, manically. "You have all this, and yet you don't understand..."

Hina and Eucliwood rolled their eyes at this.

"Horo, stop with the theatrics, and let's try to end this in peace, ok?" said Hina disapprovingly.

Instantly, Horo stopped laughing and appeared bored again.

"Hmph" she said. "We appear to be a little shallow in the conversational topic department relating to now. It looked like it needed a little sprucing up, but clearly I went to far. You have my most profuse apology from the bottom of my almost omnibenevolent heart. But let's face it, is this really going anywhere?"

Well maybe you are right. It is already late at night. Does the Emperor and the Empress of Arrnea want to stay here for the night or is he returning today?, answered Albrîn.

Meanwhile the car crossed St. Hina's square, heading to the docks.

"If there are any official plans for tomorrow, we shall stay overnight, assuming accomodation is available. If not, we will return tonight" responded Siegfried diplomatically.

Meanwhile outside, one of the Emperor's bodyguards was talking to the driver of the Imperial motor vehicle. The other bodyguard was in the building's main foyer, not far from the door to the dining hall.

Well, there are no plans. So maybe we should just end it here and then I wish you a pleasent flight. Are you going with the Saubremians like you arrived?, asked Albrîn making a kind smile.

Also I have to go, report to my sister and deliver some present. Maid Kampanin may help you, if you stay the night. May Hina bless you.

Then she left in a black car that followed the first one.

Any orders, mylord?, asked Kampanin, bowing before Siegfried.

"As there are no plans for tomorrow, we shall take our leave as well. The Saubremiens are welcome to join us for the ride back to the airport, if they wish" said Siegfried, standing up from his seat and taking his Empress by the hand, helping her out of hers. They would have to consult with the Imperial dressmakers upon their return, the Empress' official outfit was getting in the way of physical activity.

The pair then walked to the main doors of the dining room, opened them and were joined by one of their guards, who whispered something in Siegfried's ear that made the man smile. He then turned back toward the Saubremien delegation and asked "are you coming?"

The eyes of the three brightened instantly. They had been rarely shown such kindness, and would always jump at the chance.

The three bowed.

"It would be a honour" said Hina. Thus, they followed the Siegscrambled to what they had dubbed the "Ubermobile".
