Kateb's Address

Postby The 500AD RP Admin » Thu May 11, 2017 5:11 pm

Kateb gives address concerning rumoured 'Purge'

Some people have asked me, they say ''Ali, have you gone soft, what is this talk of negotiating with the Europeans!?''. I say to them, ''Brothers, we are not fighting the Europeans. This is not a war of hatred for the Europeans or the Americans or the Whites. This is a war about colonialism and imperialism.''. The truth is that the ALM has never been founded on the ideals of racialism. The ALM was founded on the ideals of smashing imperialism; it is the ideal of freedom, the right for all Africans to live under an AFRICAN nation run from an AFRICAN city, not one in France or England or Italy. We are fighting to smash the influence of foreign corporations over our leaders, to smash the hegemony of big-business banks over our people. We are fighting for the total liberation of Africa; from debt, war, foreign-rule and famine. The ALM will never stop until these goals are met.

In many ways, the ALM draws inspiration from many of our oppressors. The Americans in 1776 fought and won their independence from the British Empire, and today they are the most prosperous country in the world, with so much food that their women are the size of hippopotamus! *chuckles from the audience, along with a few audible wolf whistles*. In the 1820s, the fighter Bolivar rid Central America of the Spanish Empire. His victory is responsible for the birth of Puertollano, the great nation run by native peoples who have kindly aided us in our revolutionary struggle. We thank them kindly and we welcome them as our brothers. I tell you this now, and I want you all to remember it until the day you take the path into the life after this one; I have a dream that one day, all children of the revolution will march together, brown, black, white, yellow, and they will smash their oppressors! I tell you this now because it is the truth, the ALM will fight and they will win because Africa demands it and no power on Earth can stop our glorious revolution! Let us bring the end to our enemies! Long live the Revolution! *Cacophonous cheers from the audience*

- Kateb addressing an assembly of roughly 4,000 ALM soldiers, officers and militiamen in Dhusamareb.

ALM Releases information on previous bombings

Puertollano: The attack on Puertollano was committed by Amal Janbique, an Angolan. The bombing was ordered by Robert Morabi, a disavowed ALM commander executed for war-crimes in the early Purges.

Fregantes: Committed by [Redacted due to lack of documentation], acting under orders from Roland Moasquai, another disavowed ALM commander, currently incarcerated by the ALM for human-trafficking.

Orostan: The ALM denies all responsibility for the bombing, stating that it would be beyond the strategic scope of the ALM to strike so many targets simultaneously, stating that the Orostani bombing was committed by 'Other forces'.

Castillo visits Dhusamareb

Dhusamareb is a city currently under the jurisdiction of the African Liberation Militia and the Mogadishu Republic, it is also well known for being the target city of Zackaroth's recent biological weapons. When Zackarothian aircraft, in the dead of night, spread disease through the local cities drinking water, it would then bring much outrage from the Puertollanoan Government. Reportedly thousands are dying of the genetically modified cholera illness, used to attack the civilian populace while they were not aware. In a suprising turn of events, media began covering the fact that President Nicolo Castillo had recently arrived in Dhusamareb along with the second wave of medical professionals and scientists to arrive at the scene. In pictures, Castillo seems to be speaking with the local population and in another picture he is holding a little girl in his arms, who's parents were said to have died by the cholera outbreak. As Puertollanoan medical teams rushed to the sick, so did Castillo, despite the fact that he has no medical training whatsoever. The President also came with more medical supplies, fresh drinking water and non-perishable foods, personally distributing the food to the people from the back of a truck. Puertollanoan Broadcasting Corporation was quick to arrive to Dhusamareb, to ask Nicolo questions (as they already had war correspondents not far away). PBC asked him these questions while he was with a crowd of locals:

PBC: President Castillo, why did you arrive here in such short notice?

Castillo: It was nessecary for security matters, I couldn't simply announce I was heading on my way to the Mogadishu Republic. Zackaroth would have otherwise had a field day trying to find our aircraft and shoot it out of the skies!

PBC: Can we ask why you are here, in a warzone?

Castillo: Unlike other world leaders, I come to see what impact my actions are making on the world. See here, we are feeding and giving the people water. We are supplying appropriate medicines to help fight the biological attacks lead by Zackaroth. I can tell you why Davud Akbar or Shephard aren't coming here, it's because that do not want to look at what impact they're making. They don't want to look at themselves turn cities to rubble because it humanizes the war for them.

PBC: Don't you think it is not safe here, however?

Castillo: I trust my briefings and I trust the Mogadishu Republic. It is a little price to pay to hand out medicine and save lives.

PBC: Will you be meeting Ali Kateb?

Castillo: Not as of now, for him to meet me at the moment is not possible due to some certain security obstacles. At some later time, however, I am keen to meet with him.

PBC: Do you have a message to the belligerent nations in this conflict?

Castillo: Yes, I do. Persia, Zackaroth, you better watch out. Puertollano will not let your untenable war destroy a people's movement. Imperialism will be put to at an end here, when the anti-colonialists are victorious. I advise both to pull out now.

Akbar responds to be Castillo, Calls Zakaroth use of chemical weapons "Heartless and evil"
In a Press Conference today, Prime Minister Akbar responds to Castillo of Puertollano accusations against him, he said.
"President Castillo has made a dangerous endorsement of terrorism. Previously I have been sympathetic to him, he has attacked by Spain for strengthening his country's culture, and stood up for Orostan when attacked by Zakaroth's vile chemical weapons. But now he has made a mistake. The People's Navy did carry out a strike on Mogadishu on terrorist targets, we targeted military installations, and was decoys erected by the ALM that unfortunately led to the tragic death of civilians. The People's Air Service have dropped packets of medicine to ward off cholera, and clean water and food to the people of Africa, and we condemned the heartless and evil use of biological and chemical weapons by Zakaroth. But Castillo has decided to support ALM, and Ali Kateb. He also demanded that Persia end all operations in Africa, this is something we will not due. We will be intensifying attacks of strictly military targets, and beginning more aide drops to the innocent people of Africa, who are only drawn to the extremists because of actions like that of Zakaroth."

Germany sides with Persia, calls ALM "Hippocrates"

Today four condemnations where handed out after the Herpostani incident is wrapping up.
One Condemnation was issued towards Zackaroth as their use of biological warfare was inhumane and bluntly horrible.

It has also Condemned Puertollano and Orostan for siding with terrorist, however this was aimed for at Puertollano for arming terrorist and saying they are the true humane power in this conflict.
PM Shoemaker even went as far as saying "I hope the NAF has a leash on the Seattle Pact. Because the other powers involved seem to enjoy helping terrorist."

Finally the forth Condemnation was issued towards ALM. Here is what PM Shoemaker said,

"The terrorist state organizing in Africa. Which claims to be "anti-imperialist and pro-africa." Well let me ask them this, do they know that they have destroyed akksum? The most successful African country to date. This isn't pro-Africa. This is something else entirely. I don't know how you can be both pro-Africa but Anti-akksum. It simply doesn't exist."
Call me Greg (my IRL name) or UDCS. Whichever works best for you.

"[28] He said to them: 'You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.' "

UIC Candidate lashes out!

Mahmoud Yahya candidate for the United Islamic Coalition, a supposedly unifying party, has made some controversial and divisive remarks. In an interview with the Islamist radio station "Radio Islamic Persia", he said "I would support withdrawal from Africa, and promote the ALM's anti-imperialist movement, as a way to spread an anti-Western feeling to stop extreme secularist influences." When asked about Persia's alliance with France, he said "Fabien Leonard is a drunk frog with perverted habits." He also made such comments as that Angela Merkel should "go back to the kitchen and stay there." In the riding where he is running, these rather stupid comments have seen a loss of support for the UIC which is already struggling. Press Secretary for the Prime Minister said "these remarks are disgusting and do not represent Persian politics whatsoever."

'I am immensely proud of condemnation': Castillo

While personally serving soup to hungry African locals, Puertollanoan Presdient Nicolo Castillo was interrupted when media personnel let him know that the German Government had officially condemned Puertollano for its involvement in the African conflict, Castillo laughed at the news. After he finished serving another person a hot bowl of soup and read the transcript of what the German PM said, he replied:

This makes my immensely proud. It means quite a lot to me, the entire nation of Puertollano should be proud that we have been condemned by the German imperialist machine. Those who claim we are despicable in doing this, feeding and caring for the African people, tend to use the buzzword 'terrorist' often. 'Puertollano rogue state', 'Puertollano supports terrorists', it means nothing. If any nation was to be the most terrorist-like, it would be Germany; they bomb, they invade, they kidnap, they have large nazi followings. If giving medical aid, giving fresh water and food to the most valnerable people is described as terrorist activity, then I am a terrorist big pin! Shoemaker also asked the NAF to put a 'leash' on us. I understand that Germany does like to have leashes on foreign countries, however this is not the case with us and the North American Federation. Anyway, tell me real news that matters.

ECS Confirmed

President Leonard today announced in a press conference outside the European Standard Bank that France and Germany had agreed upon the formation of the 'European Currency Standard' (ECS). The two nations have agreed to a series of safeguards which will allow the basket of currencies to prosper. Strict trading regulations will be enforced to ensure that it is not manipulated, the ECS can be suspended in extraordinary circumstances, and the overall rate will not be a live one (it will only be updated once every week). The new ECS will allow for greater growth between the two large Western European economies, and doing business across the Rhine will become much easier. An implementation date is yet to be selected, and the legislative branch of governments in both France and Germany will need to sign off on the plan.

Voting Age lowered

The Sixth Republic has officially lowered the voting age in Metropolitan France, the Overseas Dominions, and its Overseas Territories to 17. This was done mainly due to the situation in Indochina revealing to the wider public and government consciousness that if an individual is old enough to service actively in the defense of their state then they are deserving of the right to political participation. All major parties supported the change.

Back To The Olden Days

Over the past 10 years the goverment of greater Indonesia has been very generous of allowing a certain extent of free speech and the allowing of capitalism to a certain extent but no more. Today the premier Mr. Kalla has signed very restrictive laws on the freedom of speech and to totally ban capitalism within greater Indonesia claiming "It has been a full year since I've taken Offic and now it is the time for us as a nation to go back to our roots and begin the righteous process of trying to establish a true communist nation". Many of Mr. kallas poltical opponents has spoke out in a rage and have scorned the premier for such actions that he has taken.

Small Protests-

Since these new restrictive naw were put in place small groups of protesters have sprung up around the captial city and other cities within the nation. These protests at the moment are non violent and are expected to continue on for the comming weeks. It is not know if they Weill grow in numbers though some do speculate that if Premier Joko Kalla continues with such actions that the number of protesters will skyrocket. Also it is expected soon the military police will be deployed to the areas where protesters are located, the protesters will most likely be confronted by the military police and will be asked to stand down and go home or face possible arrest.

Political Purge?-

With the new more restrictive laws in place Mr. Kalla has supposedly began a so called "Purge" against corrupt goverment officials that could cause the destruction of the dream of a pure communist state or the possible overthrowing of his regime. Also while the purge is ongoing the people's council has been temporarily disbanded until the purge is complete. Meanwhile the Premier has also ordered a purge of certain officers and generals in the army that are known to be more loyal to the Premiers poltical opponents. The Premier hopes doing this will eliminate the possible threats of a traitor in a high ranking position could cause for the nation.

Last Week In Lusophone

Postby Lusophone » Sat May 13, 2017 1:05 pm

ABC News Lusophone Translated from original Portuguese to English
May 13th, 2017 | George Stephanopoulos, ABC News

Image
Palveiro: Em Nome Do Povo
"Em Nome Do Povo!" (In the Name of the People!) exclaimed Sarah Palveiro, who's hoping her wave of populism sweeping Lusophone will carry her to the Belém Palace. “The wind of history has turned,” Palveiro, who heads the far-right Frente Nacional (National Front), told a crowd of supporters at the kickoff of her presidential bid earlier today in Porto, the industrial city in Northwestern Lusophone. “It will carry us to the summit.” Opinion polls have shown Palveiro polling third to possibly winning the first round of Lusohpone’s presidential election, but the unpredictability of this historic election may put her first in victory.

Palveiro envisions a Lusophone with closed borders, and tough immigration controls; a country that is independent of international bodies, and one that ultimately puts itself first. This inward thinking, Palveiro reminded supporters, would not be unique to Lusophone. “Other people have shown the way,” she said, alluding to the many political events unfolding worldwide. Although such sentiments might be experiencing a resurgence, many of Palveiro’s policies are not new. Indeed, her 144-point manifesto outlining her vision for Lusophone reflects many of the policies the Frente Nacional (National Front) has put forward since it was founded more than four decades ago by her brother, Donald Trunfo. From the onset, the party has opposed globalism, in exchange for economic patriotism. It has also been characterized by anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiment.

“Voluntarily or not, he gave ammunition to our adversaries,” Palveiro said of her brother after banishing him from the party, adding: “Today our adversaries no longer have that ammunition.” Still, Palveiro’s rebranding efforts alone may not be enough. Dr. David Lees, a researcher on Lusophine politics, said last November that though Palveiro’s outsider status has certainly helped her anti-establishment image, it could also pose a challenge. Still, Palveiro’s rebranding has proven effective in communities previously marginalized by the FN. The party has actively pursued more progressive causes such as promoting women’s rights and gay rights, as well as protecting Lusophone’s Jewish community from anti-Semitism—often by presenting Muslim immigration as a threat to all three. “We do not want to live under the rule or threat of Islamic fundamentalism,” she told supporters in Porto, and accused Muslim immigrants of “looking to impose on us gender discrimination in public places, full body veils or not, prayer rooms in the workplace, prayers in the streets, huge mosques.”

But for all the challenges Palveiro faces as an untested leader of historically fringe party, one that is often overlooked is her role as Lusophone’s sole female candidate. Women have historically been underrepresented in Lusophine politics, with female lawmakers making up 25 percent of the National Assembly and 27 percent of the Senate. If Palveiro was to advance to the second round as polls suggest she possbily could, she’ll only be the second female candidate to have done so. It’s a glass ceiling many say she may have a difficult time shattering.

Barcelos: A Pragmatic Catholic
John Barcelos, former Prime Minister, officially became the Os Conservadores (The Conservatives) candidate for Lusophone’s 2017 presidential election, announcing at the same city and same time as Sarah Palveiro did. A Catholic and a conservative, Barcelos says he will restore Lusophone’s pride and institutions, vowing to take pragmatic, if difficult, steps to assess the state of the Republic and stop what is not working. Barcelos’s platform is founded on his conviction Lusophone is a great power, a nation that “deserves better” and whose perceived decline “revolts” him, as he writes in his campaign literature. His campaign’s tenets are founded, he says, on the four years he has spent crisscrossing the country and meeting voters. Taking a hard line against Islam and promising sweeping reforms to the economy, and Lusophone’s labor code, Barcelos campaigns on the idea of restructuring Lusophine politics from the ground up. He’s suggested diminishing the size of the Lusophine state, while also attacking such stalwart institutions as the 35-hour work week.

Barcelos slashed budgets and public expenditure in his last role in government, as Prime Minister, and he is expected to take similar measures if he becomes Lusophine President. His conservative policies of cutting (some) public spending, abolishing the wealth tax, and increasing state expenditure on defence and justice, have led some to compare Barcelos to former Conservative leaders.

Costa: Stuck in Europe
Prime Minister Antonio Costa, who's been tipped off as President Sousa's successor and leads in the first round polls, is currently in Europe, on a working visit to the Hellenic islands with the Minister of Education. This foreign trip, which was suppose to show his "statesmanship", has rather hurt him in the polls. At a time where Barcelos and Palveiro announced at the same time, last week, both candidates took a jab at Costa, and how his focus on foreign policy instead of domestic issues hurts the average Lusophine citizen.

The latest polls for the first round of the elections have shown Palveiro catching up, and the number of Undecided voters increasing, a grab for anyone who wants to become the next President. The latest polls have also introduced a new type of voters: those who will possibly abstain from the vote. Costa, who soared with 29% polling in the first round, now has his numbers dwindled down to 25.5%, with Barcelos seeing a drop from 25% to 21% as well. Meanwhile, Palveiro now seems to be closing in on Barcelos, who now soars with a 21.5% polling, almost two points up from her 18%. Latest Opinion Polling.

Posting more later today.

Athens Welcomes Its Guests!

Image

The Prime Minister of Lusophone, Antonio Costa, and his Education Minister, have arrived at Athens. The Dassault Falcon 50 has landed at 14:00 UTC+2.

They were greeted by the Great Consul Maxvellein Relhophen Fregantes himself, his senatorial entourage of fifteen senators and 400 elite guardsmen. They were then escorted to the vehicles and taken to the Senatorial Palace.

The main discussion was about the inclusion of the Lusophone to the International Union of Education. The new nation is expected to benefit from the project, and contribute as much; thus making it a mutually beneficial relationship.

Many are to be discussed, but the topics aren't cited.

Costa's Snapchat Holo-Cost

Postby Lusophone » Sat May 13, 2017 5:53 pm

BuzzFeed Lusophone Translated from original Portuguese to English
May 13th, 2017 | Stephen Colbert, BuzzFeed News

Image
Costa announced his run from the ballroom of his hotel, where his staff set up a green-screen.

If there's anything more unprecedented in the 2017 Lusophine Presidential Elections, it's the Prime Minister of Lusophone announcing his run via Snapchat. PM Costa, who's currently in a working visit with the Education Minister, announced his presidential bid via Snapchat in Europe. Announcing with the help of his celebrity-pal, Costa's 10 second video has got the Partido Progressista (Progressive Party) all riled up, especially millennials. The video itself was intended to attract young voters, but not criticism. Sarah Palveiro, the far-right candidate already took a jab at Costa's announcement via Snapchat saying "He doesn't care about the people." Palveiro also vowed to withdraw from the IUE if elected Lusophine President.

Why did Costa announce via Snapchat?
Sarah Palveiro of the Frente Nacional (National Front) and John Barcelos of Os Conservadores (The Conservatives) announced their bid for the presidency earlier this week, and Costa was the missing piece to get the election actually running. Palveiro polls third, and Barcelos polls second, both trailing behind Costa. Costa's stalling has hurt him in the polls, dropping from his leading 29%, to 25%, allowing Palveiro to close in from 18% to 21.5%. Costa's trip to Europe was suppose to help him in the polls, but it's hurt him more than help him. It's taken awhile, and Palveiro seized the moment.

He's the candidate of the system. That's why he announced from Fregantes. He represents the elite. The reason he was in Fregantes was to admit Lusophone into the International Union of Education (IUE), furthering their globalist agenda. This hurts Lusophone. When I become President, I will withdraw from the IUE and I will preserve Lusophine culture, instead of throwing it away. -Sarah Palveiro

Costa's trip to Europe has concluded, and his staff has responded back to BuzzFeed and confirmed that he will be holding a rally at the airport, the moment he lands. On a phone call with CNN, Costa said he was "grateful for the visit to Fregantes" and "would've stayed longer, if he could."

While Costa makes his way back, Sarah Palveiro is currently rumored to be making her way out. She's rumored to be flying to Greater Persian State, but neither her or her staff has confirmed. Her motorcade of three Tesla Model Xs however, were stopped earlier in downtown Lisbon, not far from the airport.

Costa's making his way back, Palveiro's rumored to be traveling to Persia, what's Barcelos and Alemeida up to? John Barcelos of the Os Conservadores, has expressed interest in meeting up with the German leadership, in hopes of strengthening ties with big economic powers. Meanwhile, Francisco Alemeida, the communist candidate and of the Movimento Popular (People's Movement), has refused to travel anywhere outside of Lusophone. He exclaimed "When I become President, I will focus on the betterment of the people. I want to empower the People's cause, and the Worker's revolution, not the big banks."

More RP later today.

However both the current German and Lusophone governments announced that neither of them hold any real power of their government and they should be treated as private citizens expressing private beliefs. Final Polls

The final polls for the 2017 Persian General Elections have come out, with vote share and seat projections. The polls continue to show a strong SDU lead in both vote share and seat projections. Here are the results and then we will analyze.
Vote Share
Social Democratic Union: 41%
United Islamic Coalition: 22%
People's Party: 15%

Independent: 14%
Iraqi Interests: 8%
Seat Projections
Social Democratic Union: 196
United Islamic Coalition: 67
Independent: 41
People's Party: 33
Iraqi Interests: 15
The SDU still has a dominating lead, in vote share and seat projections. Many analysts saw that the lack of a unified Islamic opposition party has led to the SDU "running away with it" as one analyst put it.

Protests Grow-
With rumors of premier Joko Kallas purge of certain goverment and military officlas plus the restrictions and repealed popular "liberal" policies from previous administrations the people of greater Indonesia are seemingly by the day are getting more hostile to the Communist Regime. The number of protesters since last week has seemingly quadrupled in size with more protests turning semi violent to the local military police.

Polarity in the government-

As of late some military officials and goverment officials disagreeing with premier Kallas policies have began to speak out with an outrage against the Premier. Some of the premiers political opponents have gone missing while othes have either joined the protest. Meanwhile one of Kallas most fierce opponents Senator Pandikar Razak, a more openly liberal politician who is well liked amongst the younger populace is trying to convince the people's council to hold a vote of no confidence against the premier (bascially impeachment). Though one of the biggest hits to the premiers reputation is when one of the most highly respected generals in the entire nation, 5 star general and secretary of defense Hamdan Novanto spoke out against Premier Kalla claiming "Going back to the olden days of absolute oppression yet claiming to be liberators isn't progress nor is it the right fate for the people of our nation, and I will not support or fight for such a man". Meanwhile many other politicians have endorsed Premier Kalla for his bravery to try to achieve true communist state, while other of his allies claim that the premier knows what is truely best for the nation and its people.

Castillo vs Coca Cola

The Castillo Administration is rejoicing after another great victory in the Puertollanoan Parliament today, since their last, and their controversial coca leaf legalisation. The bill that was past was the Coca Cola Equity Regulation Act of 2017. In the new act, it mandates that all Coca Cola beverages are to be only sold at a national set price, which was all detailed thrououghly in the legislation. For example, for a 500ml bottle, it regulates that Coca Cola must sell that bottle for 50 cents or less to consumers and retailers. The larger the bottle, the more than can charge for it, while still having it in the same ratio. Debating the topic, President Nicolo Castillo had much to say:

The Puertollanoan Government is not a puppet of large, entangling corporations. That is why we have taken these new appropriate measures against the Coca Cola Corporation in its aim to rob Puertollanoans in the light of day. I don't know why we ever let them get away with this; first of all they would purchase our coca at cheap prices, take it to an impoverished nation in Africa where they can use slave labour, add some chemicals to the water as well as our coca extract, then they bring it back to us at exuberant prices! If they have the audacity to do that, then we'll have the audacity to buy a 500ml bottle at 50 cents! Besides, Coca Cola is just bad for your teeth.

Hail the Glorious British Empire and Her Alliances
Puertollano, France, and NAF invited to renegotiation talks in the Falkland Islands.

Relationships left unkindled die out.

Colonies protected
The King himself has declared the colonies of Africa "of uttermost importance" regarding the terrorists in the continent. The Prime Minister of Egypt declared that "Egypt will now be able to support our African friends with British weaponry provided by the King".

The General Parliament opens its doors next week, discussing the future of the Empire and the future of Britain's legacy.
Many inside politics have argued that Britain has "prevented the spread of Islam" and the "radicalisation of prosperous countries" for the betterment of themselves and the colonies, and that imperialism is still relevant in the modern era.

SDU WINS IN LANDSLIDE
Prime Minister Akbar celebrating on the balcony of SDU Headquarters

The SDU won a massive victory yesterday, voters went to the polls and gave the Social Democratic Union a decisive majority. At 8:00 PM, the Persian Broadcasting Network released exit polls presenting the finalized results, which were consistent with exit polls.
Vote Share
Social Democratic Union: 43%
United Islamic Coalition: 22%
People's Party: 14%

Independent: 13%
Iraqi Interests: 8%
Seat Projections
Social Democratic Union: 194
United Islamic Coalition: 67
Independent: 43
People's Party: 31
Iraqi Interests: 15
The results were decisive, the SDU won a supermajority, and is able to pass any legislation. As illustrated by this Parliament graph (not including the speaker). The utter catastrophe for Opposition parties was attributed to a divided and fractured opposition. Internal and cross party negotiations will take place, and Parliament will reconvene with this new composition next week. Prime Minister Akbar said in his victory speech that Persia "has chosen prosperity, peace, and progress." Over "disunity, fear mongering, and devastation." Saeed Jalili gave a brief concession speech, congratulating Akbar and saying "No matter who wins, my loyalty is to our country." He did not resign as party leader, but did say "we will unite the opposition, and protect the core values of Persia." The Iraqi Interests Party gained seats, and Yasser Salim gave a very jubilant speech, calling for "Autonomy, Protection, and Equality!" The Leader of the People's Party, Dana 'Abbas, did not resign as leader despite loosing seats, and his concession speech was a notable shift from center to right, courting Independent Islamists to strengthen the People's Party.

Condemnation of Indonesia

The government of the Sixth French Republic has issued a condemnation of recent actions by the Indonesian government. As a result, France will be withdrawing their embassy from the rogue state, and France has encouraged all French and Indochinese citizens to avoid traveling to Indonesia due to the unrest. Prime Minister Lamar called the attempts to introduce communism as being "like a student who ignored the lessons of history, and does to at their own peril." The Prime Minister then invited the Indonesian leadership to a museum in Cambodia which explains the crimes and failed policies of the former Khmer Rouge.

The Prime Minister also said after the statement that he would travel to the Falklands for the summit there with the United Kingdom, and also congratulated the Persian SDU upon their recent win.

Special Report: Pakse, French Indochinese Federation

An independent journalist based in Hanoi made the journey to the newly secured city of Pakse in Laos and made this report:

Pakse is the second largest city in all of Laos, and was a major urban center during the communist era. As such, when ARVN troops occupied the south of the country in 2016 following the official end of the Third Indochina War it was named the provisional capital of South Laos, and became home of the newly formed Laotian Armed Forces (LAF) and headquarters of the Sixth Republic's occupation force. Although the reunification of Laos in 2017 meant that many official duties were relocated back to Vientiane and Luang Prabang, Pakse remained an integral symbol of the new French Indochinese Federation. Following the beginning of the Fourth Indochina War, the city became the primary target of the invading Thai military. The battle for the city continued despite the ceasefire elsewhere along the front, and as a result was only ended successfully after 55 days of brutal fighting. Reports from within the city are that there have been 5,000 civilian casualties, and tens of thousands displaced persons were forced to evacuate during the siege. Over 15,000 troops from here in Laos, as well as from Cambodia, Vietnam, and even Metropolitan France defended its streets, however it is not yet known how many were killed. Luckily for the inhabitants of Pakse both sides involved used conventional tactics allowing the city to remain mostly intact, however the airport, government buildings, water and power networks, and many of the western district houses were damaged in the fighting. Citizens are already beginning to return to their homes, however some will inevitably find them in ruins - victims of another war born from South East Asian totalitarianism. The Vietnamese and French jets which saved the city from falling to the enemy continue to fly over the area on their way to engage the retreating Thai army before they can flee too far across the border, and combined with the cargo planes and helicopters dropping supplies to the recovering city the skies never seem to rest during the day. The Sixth Republic will not forget about the city as it begins to rebuild, but there remains fears that the rest of the West will, and leave them in a state of stunned economic and social paralysis. The next few weeks and months will be as vital to the survival of Pakse as the resolution of the siege itself.

After the people of Calindelo mourn their soldiers, the SNL realized how important the war on terror in Africa is.
"For so long we've wanted nothing and closed up from the world, but now we fight. We fight for the freedom of all and to avenge our fellow Europeans. "

Arrangements will be made to form a coalition force with CALINDELO to stand a chance in africa

Orostani Aircraft buzzes the Falklands

This morning, two strategic bombers made a close pass of British airspace over the Falkland Islands, reminding the British that Orostan still has a military presence. The decision by the British Imperial Government to not invite Orostan to talks in the Falkland islands, but invite Puertollano and the NAF was met with a chilly reception in Orostan. The British Empire and Orostan have long had somewhat hostile diplomatic relations, on account of the revolutionary policies present in the Orostani governmental system. In turn, the Orostani leadership views the British government as a relic of colonialism and conquest. The only Orostani aircraft carrier off the coast of Somalia has been supplying the ALM in Somalia. It has been reported that an airstrike from an Orostani aircraft struck a convoy carrying weapons to aid the government of Somalia, which certain sources have stated to have been a British convoy. In the words of Democratic Socialist MP Amanda Sauo:

"While I disagree with the sometimes agressive foreign policy championed by President Anderson, I cannot argue with its effectiveness in promoting Orostani interests on the world stage."

Workers Committees Running Company in Manuguas

The state owned company Lavon Goods, a manufacturer of electronic components, is now being run by a workers committee. Defined as a democratically elected board of directors for a company, it democratizes the workplace environment for employees. The managers still work in Lavon factories, but now need to cater to the needs of their workers more. This system is in a trial phase, but initial testing conducted at a single military weapons factory showed an increase in the quality of products and quantity. Championed by Communists, this program was voted through the Assembly by a narrow margin. If it shows favorable results in this large scale test, than it will be voted on again by the assembly, and potentially put into wide use around Orostan. The mostly Anarcho-Capitalist group "AntiCom" staged a protest in front of the assembly building, with picket signs and all. It was disrupted by Communist counter protesters, who formed their own group supporting the bill. AntiCom has stated its intention to continue weekly protests against the bill.
“It is difficult for me to imagine what “personal liberty” is enjoyed by an unemployed hungry person. True freedom can only be where there is no exploitation and oppression of one person by another; where there is not unemployment, and where a person is not living in fear of losing his job, his home and his bread. Only in such a society personal and any other freedom can exist for real and not on paper.” -J. V. STALIN

Falklands buzz condemned

The other day the U.K. called for a meeting with her allies under the discription "relationships left unoticed break down". Soon afterwards Orostani aircraft buzzed the Falkland Islands because Orostan wasn't an ally unlike Puertollano and NAF. In which German Parliament officially condemned the action saying "actions based of not being included are nothing less than selfish"

Electricity to be exported to Herpostan

After the Transylvania border conflict which recently came to an end via DRS legislation. The GU which bombed many power plants in Herpostan seemed to feel some amount of remorse and approached the Herpostani government if they were interested in the GU to lay the according work to set up and eventually export electricity to the state. Herpostan agreed and power lines are expected to be set in the next few days.

European Currency Standard ratified

After much debate and surprisingly heavy resistance from the Neutralist party the ECS was ratified by German parliament 190-183. It is expected that many companies will soon switch portions of their value into the common currency.

TROOPS PREPARE
After a rather radical statement by the president, some 40,000 troops of the active army component prepares for a large scale invasion.
The preparation is odd, the troops must first transition into Africa in order to invade.
No movement is being made in airbases regarding transportation of the troops, but instead the 10 dassault rafales land in Odessa.
Citizens question what is going on but none have really cared to say anything about it.
"Isn't this what the military always does before going to war or something " says one ternopil local.

After asking Lenin of the weird military movements the President said "Have we not communicated wit the public of our military activities? Africa needs us."

But instead of convoys heading to military air strips, the headed south
