During this time he met his wife, Naomi, at a political function. Kohath was forced to flee the country when the Second Civil War began a few years later and the military dictatorship of Perrin Pahath-Moab seized control. There was an assassination attempt against him while he was living in a remote estate in Arcologia which failed. After Pahath-Moab's death in a stadium accident, he returned to the country and attempted to help restore the Free Congress to power. He served as Minister of Police under Free Congress President Sarah Carmel. Following a peace agreement which built a new constitutional monarchy, he retired to private life and focused on activity within the financial sector of the country. He and his wife have no children yet.

He was hailed a hero by Sethtekia due to his staunch stance in the face of imminent destruction. He ordered his men to push on and fight to the last man while leading the charge out of the foxhole into the battlefields where he lost some of his men due to machine gun fire. As the Charge was successful the men got into hand-to-hand combat in which he lost his left eye. Though the close proximity of the front forced the vile and disgusting terrorists down. He took over 200 captives and under his orders. They were all executed for attacking Sethtekian civilians. The Sethtekian people were proud of him and in his home town they built a statue to him.

Though he longs for the battlefield. General Erios asked him to be their diplomat and senator to the world. He begrudgingly agreed to do it as he thought politicians were callous and cowards. He chose to take this on as if it were orders to clean up the Seante.
