@Shirin_Bayd Ah, I see. That is very fascinating! And I can see why you were so curious, your summer festival has almost the exact same name as our's! Though I agree with you that they probably couldn't be more different. It's always interested me that we have so many very different ways of honoring our divine creator.

@Nana Plisetsky: Hello, there, Miss Plisetsky, I must say, that I joined Sets recently now as well, having heard several recommendations. I am an aviator myself, though not for a civilian line, but for the Sultan's Navy or Royal Kyrenaian Navy, whichever term you prefer.
Sadly, since becoming Lord-Commander, I didn't have many chances to fly anymore, but I enjoy those, that I have, all the more.

(And before someone wonders about the ears on my profile pic - they're from a masquerade ball.)

@RealKingYoshio: Actually, neither the Lioness nor Han-'Ilat created the World according to our creation myth. Al-Uzza (Goddess of the Morning Star), Manat (Goddess of Moon and Fate) and Malakbel (the already mentioned God of the Sun) created the world basically because they were bored, then watched it turn barren and devoid of life. Han-'Ilat, seeing their creation so sadly spinning, gave her own ability to reproduce to the world, so that grass could grow and life emerged soon after.
Please don't misunderstand me, I don't want to start a discussion here, whether our creation myth is better/more valid/truer then Yours or vice versa, I am not a theologist, but a simple handmaiden, but I simply wish to tell you, how the creation happened in our mythology. That's, by the way, the abridged version.

Long long ago Nifonese also worshiped the false kami. Luckily, since Xinyue-san opened our eyes, we no longer worship the oni. Their statues have been - rightfully - smashed to dust, and now the Lord of Heaven smiles upon our country.

I can not fathom how a man can worship such abominable kami. I am yet to see a pagan religion that does promote virtue in it's worshipers.

OVER NIFON - ONLY HEAVEN! KOJIRO-SAMA BANZAI! NAMU IESU KRISHTOU! 5 7 5 - 7 7!

@Max_Inoue: Before we start into the old game of people developing new, interesting shades of purple and presenting you facts showing the contrary of your statement, insults flying around and all of that shebang (with said statement being, that you know of no pagan religion promoting virtue on their worshippers), showing fact, which you refuse to acknowledge because they don't fit into your worldview, I would like to try something new, if people agree: Maxie-tan, define 'virtue'.
In easier words, what makes, in your opinion, a person virtuous or not?
If you present us with a clear set of virtues, which you believe fit the bill, we can maybe introduce you to a few pagan faiths, that promote these values in their worshippers. (The sad part is, that we all know how this is going to end.)

Generally speaking, though, I can already tell you, that a lot of Pagan Faiths promote virtues in their followers - just not the virtues you see as virtues. Which is, quite frankly, your problem, not theirs.

Ah military aviator huh? That's how I actually got my start, I served in the Imperial Air Force for my conscription and since being discharged from duty I decided to go for civil aviation. As I'm writing this I'm getting ready to do one of my flights from Caloris to Sonomi then to Mazomba. Flying around the country is great! Though I haven't done any long haul international flights as of yet, maybe soon enough. Maybe even to Kyrenaia soon enough!

People may find this of interest: Caellians believe that there is only one god, and that all the people of the world are his children and chosen people. Because of this, we also believe that the god we worship is in fact the same god that is worshipped by all the other monotheistic faiths, such as
the Christianity of the Nifonese.

When it comes to "pagans", things get a bit trickier, but the Caellian belief is still that they are honoring the same deity as all of us, they just choose to honor his different aspects seperately, and give them thier own names and forms. We sometimes refer to Cael as 'he of many names and many forms' for this reason.

This is why statements like Mr. Inoue's amuse me. He may disagree that I worship the same god as him, or that God appreciates both our approaches, and I suspect I might get a scolding for the Caellian belief from a few other posters here, but you can see how I can find such statements a little bit comical, when I was brought up to believe we're all on the same side when it comes to our faiths.

@Nana Plisetsky: I know. One sees the own country, the seas, the many places one can go to, from a totally different perspective, when one is up there. It puts many things into perspective... you see, I was trained for the KAF-139 Baghl, a transport and COD-Plane, there's an AWACS-version, an ASW-Version and many other functions, but my personal favourite was the Cropduster, which we made as a makeshift refit during the drought in 2008, spraying much-needed water over the crops. Shortly second comes looking into the shining eyes of the people unloading the plane with me when I have field-post loaded for a carrier six months at sea already.
Throw me a message, when you ever have a flight to Kyrenaia scheduled. I'd like to invite you to a tea, from one aviator to another. Have a safe flight!

The Sackie trash that Nifon and the incel infested land of Inyursta will be used to denigrate and disrupt actual indigenous cultures. That’s why we need an actual Dorian ethnostate now. Now before the true struggle starts.

@David the Roomie: Sure.

As the Jewish faith is the oldest of the Abrahamic faiths, one cannot hold contempt for all three of them without being a religious antisemite. As a consequence, the antitheist who wishes to see all religion eradicated is by necessity an antisemite. Granted, a religious antisemite, but an antisemite nonetheless, giving an admittedly surprising degree of brilliance to the late Elie Wiesel's admonition vis-a-vis collective judgments, videlicet "only racists make them."

One of my field techs got a good image of this rare beauty, Cerrophidion peronii a.k.a. the Sierran Pit Viper. These moderately venomous snakes prey mostly on frogs and nesting birds which utilize riparian habitats in valleys & ravines of moderate to high altitude mountainscapes in western Inyursta.
An interesting fact, this is one of the few reptiles which undergoes a form of hibernation due to seasonal cold snaps in the mountains.
