It starts with a pitch black stage. The music starts to play in the background. Ariana lifts her head up and goldenrod lights start to flash. She is wearing a layered sand-coloured dress which goes to her knees and to her ankles at the back. A background screen also appears with a sandstorm-like pattern recurring upon it. There are four obelisk -like monuments each of which depicts a male figue. She then starts to sing.

4 dancers in Carthaginian attire walk up, robes swirling from the use of a wind machine. They cover her up and start to carry her to each monument. She starts shaking her head at each one. They let her down before the chorus starts.

She walks to the center while she is singing the chorus. The lights go dim as the final verse is sung. The sandstorm background is gradually fading away and becoming a rose flower one. This change is completed by the end of the final verse. The final verse is sung in a quiter tone (The red means a higher tone is used).

The dancers re-appear for the chorus, now wearing pink, layered robes. Ariana is standing in the middle with the wind machine at full blast. The tone is once again louder. The dancers are doing ornate lifts behing her, the robes emphasizing the eloquence of their dance.

The guitar playing quiets down, but it is built back up as David prepares for the final chorus. First, he sings one more part.

The stage went dark. Blackness englulfed everyone, with camera flashes and lights occassionally going off. A sound from the bass drum in the back mimicked a heartbeat... bump-bump, bump-bump, bump-bump... as a straining sound ran from the bass guitar. It became high pitched, sort of like a wave washing up upon a beach. And in the background, a staggered gasps on every eight beat.

Then the bass started. A sort of, bum-bum-bum, bum-bum, bum-bum-bum, bum-bum. Green lasers illuminated the crowd... but not yet the stage. And you could hear a voice... oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, go!

The bass grew louder, as well as a sort of strange sound on every beat. Like when you sucked in air through closed lips, but deeper and sweeter. Hu-uhhhhh-uhhh..., went the voice followed by a second of guitar. Every few beats, a single strum and quick buzz of energy. Oh yeah. Then the snare drums were being tapped quickly, lightly. A pause, and that same ... oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, go!

The stage illuminated, with the same sounds in sync and far louder. You could see the singer, looking focused on her song and on giving a great show. And then, in a light and enchanting voice.

"You're giving me... too many things
Lately... you're all I need
You smiled at me and said,"

The music grew, louder, more pop, the singer adding more base to her tone.

"Don't get me wrong I love you
But does that mean I have to meet your father?
When we are older you'll understand
What i meant when I said 'No.'"
I don't think life is quite that simple"

The music came to a head, louder and quicker paced than before and with Linette bursting right into the next section. She started the first to lines with that deep voice, and switched into her light enchanting voice soon after.

And then, she repeated the lines.

The musicians start to play a hard backing track, the bassist playing louder than the others. The drummer transitions on the toms and the rhythm guitarist starts to sing.

The bassist and drummers lean in to their microphones

The musicians switch back to the verse backing track.

The musicians once again move up to the microphones to provide backing vocals.

The vocalist spins around. The other musicians move into the back ground, and the spotlight focuses on the vocalist, singing softly into the microphone.

The vocalist trails off with the guitar, leaving a void of noise. The band stood their for a moment, before walking off quietly, without a sound.

It all begins with a pitch black stage, the lead singer, Marshall Webb strolls into the middle and the stage gradually gets lighter revealing the rest of the band in the background.

You can get angry about the fact, that this didn't happen to anyone else.
You can shout and scream and go! WHAT THE HELL!
But you will seek and I will find, cos this is a liberation...of your mind.

He puts a load of passion into the song, displaying a creative array of facial expressions and hand gestures, Marshall's neck long hair swaying back and forth. At the end of the first verse, he rushes to the front of the stage before continuing.

You think it doesn't hurt!
You think I'm free!
From this painful, endless fantasy!
And everyone knows all I need...is a liberation of my mind.

Both the electric guitarist and the bass guitarist, enthusiastically get up to the front of the stage with Marshall, ready for a powerful chorus.

Liberation, you know it's necessary.

Liberation! You, better stay war-y!
If you know what I mean.

The music gets calm again, the lead singer drifts back across the stage and sits down on a chair, softly singing the lyrics; heartfelt to the audience.

But a liberation is overdue,
To ensure our love stays true.

The beat gets quicker and the drummer nods his head frantically, the electric and bass guitarists approach the front of the stage and start jumping up and down whilst the lead singer jogs around the stage trying to get the crowd excited. He belts out the chorus strongly.

Liberation! You, better stay war-y!
If you know what I mean.

It then goes to a guitar solo, the guitarist falling to his knees whilst playing the electrifying chords. The crowd go wild and the Bartholomite flag flies majestically in the background as the whole band sing the following lyrics:

Other nations can't compete with...

The drum beats increasingly quicker and the pace of the song rapidly increases leading up to the chorus.

A Bartholomite member of the crowd attempts to jump on the stage but falls off hopelessly and is taken away by the stubborn police, eager to continue watching the spectacle before them despite also being on duty. The lead guitarist goes into this machine that elevates him to the top of the arena whilst he plays his guitar solo and fireworks are set off. The band finish with these beautiful lyrics.

Liberation may be real,

The Bartholomites in the audience go ballistic as the band casually stroll backstage half naked after having chucked their clothes into the crowd, but despite this act of eccentricity it isn't too well received by fans from the other competing nations, it may be the neutral's favourite though as they did put in a good performance.
