The Holy Empire of Ao Ao. I want to do an asiatic styled empire, which is very decentralized and religious, yet not so much intolerance. i want to start in an isle, and build an rich nation with allies. Also worshiping dogs and ancestors, an very rural and not dense empire.

I have a plan right now for the development of a large Empire/Power Bloc that will be the central driving force for some region-wide storylines. I expect the empire to eventually collapse, but that will depend on the storyline. I need members for it.

It will be organized as the Grand Atnaian Imperial Republic, or GAIR. States in the GAIR will be allowed to retain their central governments and a level of independence in local legislation, within the confines of what is legislated upon empire-wide, and rescinding their rights to foreign policy, which will be handled handled as a block. The member states would also be allowed to retain a certain amount of military indepedence for home defense, but the majority of the militaries will be banded together.

Nations in the GAIR will be organized centrally around the Imperial Senate. Each member state will have a certain number of senators (which can be elected or appointed locally, how you choose them is up to your nation), based on their population (I think 1 senator to 1 million population, or something similar). The Senate will automatically be headed by the Hegemon of Atnaia as supreme executive. The Senate will pass legislation affecting the entirety of the empire, such as trade accords and generalized civil stuff. The Hegemon will also nominate local governors for each member state to ensure their local governments abide by the Senate's legislation (and to quell dissent...)

So...any takers for what should be a big storyline with lots of wars, rebellions, politification...

Hey, I'm fairly new in the region and have been busy building up a bit of a baseline to work with for this post, but I'm finally somewhat satisfied with what little progress I've made, so kinda time to make an intro for Cyrosia lol.

Cyrosia is intended to be a trade-centered nation located on the western half of the region, on a decently sized island. It hosts a unique culture and language, which consists of a bunch of ChatGPT generated placeholder names while I develop the language. It's a very developed country, highly technological and with a majority of the population living on the coastal regions of the island, in major port cities and some industrial towns along the coastal plains.

I want Cyrosia to be a decently sized regional player, that engages in a fair bit of international organisations and tries to maintain some degree of cooperation with some of its closer neighbors. I have an idea of where I want it to be on the map, and have a couple of ideas for maybe some territorial disputes over a couple of small islands that could get this nation a bit more engaged with regional roleplay.

Ignore my policies which say otherwise, but the nation is fairly technologically advanced with the majority of the backwardsness in its political system. I would be for forming some trade blocs or military alliances with some other countries if anyone wants that.

Borrin Quen does not like to engage in international aid unless it is absolutely necessary, most of the time we create economic ties with smaller nations to help them develop on their own.
