I have to say it can be tough to keep up with social media when you're focused on a military career. Anyway, I spent the last few weeks participating in multi-national exercises. Always fun to work with people from different countries and it's important to keep up with the capabilities of our allies. You never know when I might have to get on the radio asking for air support and have to talk to a different country's aircraft after all.

@Anastasija Kladnov: All good, I am the happiest any person in this tough times can be, though I'm pretty disappointed that I spent all my "gaming money" for the week (yes, I have a specific line of savings just for my video game activities) on microtransactions for some stupid pay-to-win mobile game instead of spending it on all CK3 DLC packages. Yes, I know there is only one DLC for Crusader Kings III and that the second one has yet to be released, but still I wasted what savings I had for free time on microtransactions.

@Sunshine Lavender That’s nice to hear at least some people are able to enjoy themselves. Although for the mobile games I would advise not spending money on those as they stuff offered doesn’t really add much and the games themselves are short lasting. Best save up the the bigger games I think such as the CKIIi stuff.

The Gospel reading for tomorrow, the Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time under the Ordinary Form, is Mk 4:35-41, where Jesus calms a storm at sea, the first of four miracle stories. In the Extraordinary Form, the reading for the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost is Lk 5:1-11.

That Jesus is depicted as exercising power over wind and sea served as a sign to the nascent Christian community of His Saving Presence even in the face of persecutions that threatened its existence. This is something to keep in mind even now; the world may be volatile, but His Presence endures.

@Reuben Solomon, MD I must apologise for her behaviour, she is usually nice. It’s just this mopey stage she has sometimes. Back in my day people I taught to just suck it up and do your duty, it appears this way of thinking is not being taught as much here anymore it seems apparently not just here either but in other countries. Not sure what to make of that personally.
