I was thinking that Ivan could either get drunk and have a drinking buddy, or embarrass himself because of his drunkenness. I'll get a post up to address everything in a few hours.

Oh gosh I completely forgot I had a factbook dedicated to power armor. I still need to go through and rework the entire military system to actually be functioning and coherent instead of the gibberish of a 15 year old. Thanks for reminding me. So yes the medieval armor is fine, many of the jousters are in similar armor at the moment.

I wouldn't want to hold everyone up though, and my other characters are running out of people to meet and things to do. Well, they could meet the Kyrenaian Delegation at the Coronation Reception. If there is something like that, of course.
As for resolving the joust, I sadly have no idea.
