Hyper Democratic Rebels enlist with NSRA, Orostani Nuclear Engineers go to the NAF

A large Hyper Democratic Group in the NSRA has declared and alliance with the NSRA. The public announcement by the Nigerian Hyper Democratic Front said that they would support the NSRA in their struggle for a "truly democratic Nigeria". Right after the announcement, a government controlled airbase with 10 aircraft, their pilots, and support crews, were first to announce their intention to defect to the NSRA/Hyper Democratic Front. Orostani military advisers have been sent into NSRA and NHDF territory, to train NSRA and HDF crews to use Orostani tanks, aircraft, and to increase their combat effectiveness in general. While the NHDF was making its announcement, a state owned aircraft took off from Brasilia International Airport bound for the NAF. There was initially no statement on what it was for, but about an hour later after take off, the government stated that there were six of Orostan's best Nuclear Scientists aboard that plane, and they were on an assignment to assist NAF engineers in building an underground ultra-secure Nuclear power station, like the ones built in Orostan. Many online and in other newspapers allege that the Orostani government is up to something regarding Nigeria, and that the NAF may be involved too.

Aid Drops in Nigeria Increase

Orostani marked cargo aircraft flew, under escort, over Nigeria in one of many planned large aid drops. Flying over NSRA and NHDF territory, they dropped food, fresh water, medical supplies, and assault rifles. Smaller groups of aircraft flew over Nigerian Government territory, dropping non-military aid to civilians. Drones have been spotted flying over Nigerian government territory, bombing government forces. Most of the drones however are not Orostani, and are coming from an as of yet unidentified foreign power. The mystery drone strikes have focused on government forces near the advancing NHDF forces in the North East of Nigeria. Defections from the Nigerian Government to the more moderate NHDF have been taking place in the North East, as they are viewed by many as an alternative to the Communist revolutionaries of the NSRA. With the classification of the NSRA as a terrorist group by the French, the NSRA has begun actively targeting French aid entering the country. A plane allegedly bound for Government territory and carrying French aid was shot down. The crew survived, and has been taken to an undisclosed location for questioning by the NSRA, according to reports.

Embargo and Panama ban on Zackaroth!

As the third Zackarothian-Orostani War begins, Puertollano has taken measures against the Government of Zackaroth. Announced from the front of the Parliament today, the Minister of Trade said that Puertollano will enforce an embargo against Zackaroth, halting all imports and exports, ceasing to do business. However, most of all, Puertollano has barred any Zackarothian shipments, cruises etc. from using the Panama Canal. All vessels to pass through the canal must prove that they are not an entity of Zackaroth or a corporation based in Zackaroth. Puertollano has also abolished the usual toll for passing through the canal to any Orostani or NAF vessels.

Puertollanoan Troops have now arrived in Nigeria. Being 5,000 in number, their task is to teach the socialist rebel forces how to operate military vechiles e.g. Tanks, Aircraft etc. and to bolster the numbers in their ranks. On top of this, Puertollanoan teachers have been sent to fill the newly built schools (that Puertollano built), they're being taught Mathematics, Science, Reading, Writing and History. Castillo has said this about the ongoing situation in Nigeira; "We've built schools, we drop aid to Nigeria. You'll never see Zackaroth or France constructing schools in Nigera, I will tell you why. The only reason they are there is to hault the rise of anti-imperialism, not to teach the populace. Hyper Democratic Union Home Army claims responsibility for Drone Strikes against Nigerian Government Forces!
The HDUHA as of recently has claimed responsibility for drone strikes against the current Nigerian Government. the HDUHA has also officially declared their support for the United NSRA-NHDF Front. With this, the HDUHA is preparing additional drone strikes against Government forces & Zackarothian Aid & Forces. With that, about 3,000 HDUHA Troops are being sent off to Nigeria, along with a fleet of ships and aid. ex-President and now Commander-in-chief of the HDUHA Jordan Overbeck has came out with this statement:

NAF Made Aircraft Used to Support Nigerian Rebels, HDUHA Publically Thanked by President Anderson

Stealth aircraft bought from the NAF have been used to support NSRA and NHDF forces in the effort to soften up Abuja, and to capture the city of Jos. Laser guided missiles were dropped on targets around and in Jos and Abuja. Targeting military bases and supply depots, the precision strikes were aimed at command posts and concentrations of armored vehicles. The Orostani army has refrained from using drones within urban environments, due to the Orostani air force's inexperience in doing so. Airstrikes have continued on Zackrothian convoys along with the HDU airstrikes currently taking place. The NHDF has pushed South along major highways to the city of Jos, as have the NSRA. Both groups will attack the city from both sides. In and around Lagos, the fighting inside the city has gotten worse, with Nigerian government forces determined to hold the city, and NSRA militants determined to take it. The Nigerian government is fighting on four fronts, with minor gains in the South East near the coast. Meanwhile in Orostan, President Anderson has given a speech in front of the Assembly building, with a representative from the HDUHA near him, he formally thanked the HDU for its aid in the struggle to make a more democratic Nigeria that works for the common man, and not the whims of multi national corporations.

Naval Landings in Lagos

The HDUHA 3rd Fleet had arrived in Nigerian Waters. The HDUHA's Naval Force would practically snap the Nigerian's naval resistance, as Attack Helicopters and Corvettes blow the small and inferior Patrol Craft out of the water. Destroyers would knock out the Nigerian Frigates fairly quickly as well. After paving way for the Canadian Navy to prepare landings, the 3,000 troops aboard the assault ships would make way to land in Lagos. Once landed, they'd utilize Close Air Support, Drones and Small, unmanned vehicles to guide their ways through the streets. Within a couple of hours, a Beachhead would be secured, and more Canadian Reinforcements would land soon. With troops now in Nigeria, the HDUHA can conduct further Drone-Strikes and Airstrikes against Nigerian Government Forces. The Canadian Commander came out with a statement, allowing Civilians to take temporary Refuge at the Canadian Beachhead, and communications were set up with Socialist Forces fighting in Lagos. The Nigerian Forces in Lagos would now be fighting on two sides, and would be looking at soon facing an encirclement if they aren't already.

Gains in Lagos, NSRA and NHDF forces besige Jos

NSRA troops joined forces with soldiers from the HDU landing in Lagos. With the fresh and better trained HDU troops reinforcing the NSRA militants in the city, the center of Lagos now belongs to the NSRA and HDU. Orostani airstrikes coordinated with forces on the ground struck convoys carrying much needed supplies to the Nigerian Government troops fighting for Lagos. Orostani built tanks operated by the NSRA with their crews trained by Orostan have swept in from the North, in an attempt to surround the city. The Orostani hospital ship OS Misericordioso is currently located off the coast of Nigeria near Lagos, treating wonded.

An NSRA missile struck a rich neighborhood this morning in Jos, and it is unknown if that was an accident or not. It is only one of many such Orostani built missiles being fired at targets in and around the city. There have also been efforts to close the gap between NSRA and NHDF territory in the North as part of the Jos offensive. French aid drops have been let through on various occasions by the Orostani Air Force, with NSRA and NHDF guerrilla fighters seizing the weapons almost as soon as they land in many cases. In others where the government is thought to be able to take the weapons, a bomb is simply dropped on the site. The Nigerian Governments forces are currently split between four fronts, of which on only one are they gaining. Government troops are forcing the NSRA back in the South East, but the pace of that has greatly slowed lately, as the NSRA receives Orostani advisors along with increased aid drops in that area.

Agricultural Relief Administration Created

Prime Minister Akbar's support of farmers has culminated with the Agricultural Relief Administration (ARA), an organization dedicated to supporting farmers and revitalizing the devastated Persian agricultural sector. PM Akbar announced that the organization "would organize funding and efforts to revive the Persian agricultural sectors, support farmers, and connect farmers to the modern world." The organization has plans to update agricultural technology for average farmers, support farmer's businesses, economically support expanding and rebuilding farms, research agricultural technology, managing finances for farmers if they choose to do so. It pledges to protects small farmers from large agricultural industry. And in the event of a nationwide Weather, Climate, or Economic disaster. The ARA would manage the response and recovery for farmers. PM Akbar also said, "in an increasingly globalized world, we need to make sure the benefits of globalization are for all and not just for the few." The ARA aims to share farming technology and manage agricultural trade with other nations. The ARA will be a department of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Minister has appointed a Director, Ms. Arezu Khurshid.
In Parliament, the creation of this organization has easily passed due to the entirety of the SDU voting for it, their majority easily passing it. The Iraqi Interests Party also supported it, citing Arab and Iraqi Farmers. The People's Party denounced the program, saying it "was PM Akbar forcing government upon farmers and seizing their finances, and this will certainly devastate farmers." PM Akbar said, "This organization does not take anything from farmers, and will aim to support and rebuild Persia's agricultural sector, destroyed after the Regime Wars and PGU mismanagement and corruption."

People's Party Meeting
Surprise Political Coup in the People's Party: Abbas Ousted

In an emergency meeting of the Central Committee, the People's Party voted 74-26 to remove Dana 'Abbas. Mr. Abbas has become very unpopular in recent days, failing to make gains in snap elections, losing several members to a new centrist movement, and attempts to turn into a secular right party have flopped miserably. His approval rating amongst the people is 24%, and barely higher among registered People's Party being at 33%. His attempts to shift the party from centre to centre-right was widely viewed as not being handled well, and several MPs abandoned the party. 'Abbas was able to attract Independents from the Former Green Banner party to a new centre-right party, but this was just one victory among many other defeat. Including a collapse go support in Iraq, a previous source of support. In an emergency Leadership Review, the central committee of 100 Senior Party Officials voted 74-26 to remove 'Abbas as leader. 'Abbas released a statement, accepting the results of the vote and "hoping for the best for the People's Party, and above all for Persia." He also said that he planned to continue as a backbencher. The new leader will be chosen in a few days.

The Funeral of MP Behnam Behruz
Leftist Firebrand Dies

Benham Behruz died in his sleep last night. At the age of 83, it was speculated for some time. Mr. Behruz had suffered two strokes in the past. Mr. Behruz had gained a reputation for being a leftist firebrand and a representative of leftist movements in Persia for quite some time. Born in 1934 to working class parents, Mr. Behruz became active with Communist movements early in his youth. His youth was defined by working against the Pahlavi dynasty. Even when socialist Prime Minister Mohamed Mossadegh came to power, Behruz later described him as "lackluster." After the CIA backed coup in 1953, he became an active resistance fighter against the Shah. In the revolutionary years of 1978-79, he lead Marxist movements against the Shah. It is reported he joked to friends about "throwing the tyrant into a gulag." The Islamist, theocratic regime that followed was however no friend of Mr. Behruz, Mr. Behruz went into exile with fellow Tudeh Party communist comrades. During his time in exile he moderated his views slightly, moving away from the far-left Stalinist views of his youth and adulthood. In his older age, he became the leader of the Tudeh Party's moderate leftist wing. However, he became known as an excellent public speaker, who could fire up crowds with populist and leftist rhetoric, even in his old age. In 1989, after the death of the Ayatollah, he returned to the country to support political resistance to the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution, who took emergency powers to preserve the theocracy. During this time he attracted a large following, and the Guardians attempted to have him assassinated numerous times, all of which failed. After the establishment of the PGU, Benham Behruz fled the country again. While in exile, he was important to the creation the Social Democratic Union, the party now in power. At first, a shaky coalition of moderate left liberals, social democrats, and moderate Tudeh Party members like Behruz, they gradually moved around the centre-left. But Behruz was always on the left of the party. Finally after the regime wars in 2015, he returned to the country age 81. He waved at Tabriz's airport, his elderly face smiling, at last in his home country. To the surprise of all, he ran for Parliament with the SDU and won by a big margin. He won reelection in the 2017 Snap Election by an even bigger margin. He championed worker's rights, and senior care while in office. His funeral was marked by a singing of the Internationale. Some expected Prime Minister Akbar to attend the funeral, but he was unable to do so. A by-election will soon be held in his constituency.

Today was the official national day of the Kalmar Union, and the nations celebrations were as vibrant and exuberant as ever. Fireworks took place across the country, and parties spilled out of bars and restaurants onto the streets. The king came out in Stockholm to make a statement about the strength and resolve of the Scandinavian people:

Today is the day we celebrate our combined nationality as Scandinavian citizens. We stand proud, from Oslo to Copenhagen, from Stockholm to Helsinki, to announce our pride and resolve as one Scandinavian people. Gud välsignar skandinavien, jumala siunaa meitä kaikkia!

Unfortunately on a darker note, the Prime Minister was today in Stavanger, Norway and made a statement regarding the escalation of tensions in Nigeria.The PM seemed deeply disappointed with the nations of South America for making such an unprovoked act of aggression towards Zackaroth. The PM, however, refused to condone the declaration of war by Zackaroth, and seemed to remain strictly neutral in his standing on the conflict.

As you all have no doubt seen by now, tensions have reached a fever pitch between the South American nations, and their counterparts in the Middle East and France. When I heard the news that Orostani bombers had violated Nigerian sovereignty, I was deeply disappointed and shocked, I could not agree more with President Dutoit on that point. I see no other choice but to condemn the actions of Orostan in sovereign Nigerian airspace.

Many of you may be asking then, if the Kalmar Union will intervene in favor of Zackaroth, and the answer is no. The Kalmar Union, while understanding Zackaroth's actions, cannot condone their declaration of war, as we do not see that they attempted all lines of diplomacy first. That withstanding, I do believe the primary international concern should remain on the violation of Nigerian sovereignty, something that is deeply disturbing.

Touching down in Bogogta, the Leader of the Arab Islamic Emirates, Khalid al Thamin met with President Nicolo Castillo to discuss diplomatic matters about the state of the world, Nigeria, and possible economic partnership. It was then revealed that both nations will now share a free trade agreement, to co-operatively bolster each other's economies. President Castillo had this to say: "Khalid al Thamin and I had fruitful dialogue, productive dialogue, in which I learnt many new things surrounding the AIE. Transnistria stabilizes and begins appointment of province officials and representatives for the federation of the SNL. A small village in the new province has been discovered to be using communism and has been deemed over successful, thus proving communism works at a small scale. The election ends. Shocking results as war with Orostan upends things at the last minute. ZBP gains while ZPP is able to hang on!

Tonight in Zackaroth, the bumpy election season has finally come to an end. All 9 states, save for Jordan, have voted for their High Councilors and all 9 states have voted for High Leader. Al Jazeera will be giving a break down and analysis on how the people voted and how current events may have changed the face of the election.

High Leader of Zackaroth: Shepard Abdullah has won relection very handily. Despite Al Reza's rise in the polls, Abdullah came back in what is described as a crushing blow against the ZPP Leader. Al Reza only won 2 states while Abdullah won 7. Early Predictions put Reza ahead by a few points but that was before the war of Orostan broke out. Many people we asked are afraid of another Orostan terrorist attack within Zackaroth itself and trust Abdullah more to deal with it then Reza.

High Councilor of Jordan: ZBP member, Fayez Tarawneh has won the district, finally aligning Jordan with a political party after two years of independence. This victory was actually expected by both parties as both felt ZPP opponent, Hussein bin Abdullah, was too young and too inexperienced for the job. Tarawneh won 9 out of 12 districts.

High Councilor for Bahrain: In a shocking defeat and what many ZPP members thought would be the start of a tide turning night, Salmaan el-Abu beat incumbent ZBP High Councilor Khaleel el-Rahman. This may be because most people in Bahrain see the appeal of courting its vacation friendly state to more then just Middle Easterners. It was almost a land slide as well as the ZPP won 3 out of 4 districts.

High Councilor for Qatar: In a crazy up and down, drama filled race, the ZPP also gained its firsts defense of the night as Munsif al-Turay won 4 out of 7 districts. The race was called and recalled all night before it was finally settled the ZPP had kept the state. Though it was a close win, many of the ZPP thought this was the start of a very good night. However, these two states would be their only wins.

High Councilor for Kuwait: Mujahid al-Kamali won in perhaps the second most crushing defeat of the night. With the war with Ortostan heating up again, many Kuwait people are afraid of Persia involvement even though Persia has recently tried to make peace between the two nations. Thus the ZBP smashed the ZPP in election and reaffirmed Kuwait as a ZBP stronghold. Kamali won all 4 districts.

High Councilor of the Arab Emirates: Misbaah el-Salama has won a historic victory today as she becomes the first female High Councilor under the ZBP banner. She had a close race with ZPP incumbent, Shafeeq al-Salloum, but at the end of the day was able to pull out with 4 wins out 7 districts.

High Councilors of Oman and Yemen: The ZBP was able to hold on to both states but it was a close race regardless. Many ZPP members are blaming Isaam al-Munir & Ramzi el-Harroun for the platform of trying to unite the two states. They said this extremist platform cost them votes and that there is no benfit to uniting Yemen and Oman. It is predicted they will become the black sheep of the party and not be allowed to run again in the future.

AIE Welcomes Libya

After the war of 2015, the Arab Islamic Emirates decided to show the Libyan brethren compassion and as a gesture of help, the government decided to donate money to Libya and allow them to use the ports in exchange for their permission for the AIE to work in their natural resources areas thus helping them to rebuild their economy. The Libyan government thanked its mighty neighbor for that move. The Supreme Leader Khalid al Thamin stressed ths importance of friendship and forgiveness. Hundreds of Imams were sent to Libyan mosques to preach about the unity

New Party Arises

A new party has been formed. Under the leadership of Yassir ibn Fareed, the "Al Ba'ath al Jadid" party (which translates as "the New Renaissance") has gained 30 seats in the AIE parliament. The goals of the party are:

-Resist the Zakarothian influence in North America
-become the dominant power in the region
-establish closer ties with Puertollano and Orostan
-create a "union state" with the Soviet Union

One of the biggest differences between the new party and the ruling Hizbut Tawhid Party is that the new party focuses more on ties with the west while the ruling party wants to establish a position in the Middle East. Yassir ibn Fareed declared that their party is planning on voting against certain trade bills with the democratic government of Zakaroth

Germany Responds!

After the very brief and unplanned isolation of Germany day was finally the day when action was taken in regards to the Nigerian conflict. PM Adam Shoemaker has called Castillo a "ginormous hypocrite for by his own definition being an imperialist".

However with this in hand all Puertollano received from Germany was a condemnation as did Zackaroth. However Orostan received both a Condemnation and another Embargo as well as the official closing of its mostly un-used embassy.

However currently no military action has been taken.

AIE Builds up Army

RECENTLY, The Islamic Arab Armed Forces have received a large funding. The militarization reforms started recently with an introduction of conscription. This morning, the leaders of the UMU and AIE have signed a trade deal regarding multiple types of military technology. A new paramilitary group "Banu al Nasr" (Sons of the Triumph) was created. Heavily based on the Fedayeen Saddam, Banu alNasr are responsible for riot control, promotion of virtue and prevention of vice, special operations, and counter-terrorism.

AIE and Libya

The AIE has allowed a tariff-free trade with Libya. The Libyan economy is expected to grow with the bill in place. Also, the AIE-based companies have agreed to help with the Libyan oil fields and my certain shares. In another news, Khalid al Thamin agreed to take Libya under the protection saying: "An attack on Libya is treated like an attack on us."

President Dutoit today unveiled a proposed reform to the official relationship between Metropolitan France, the various Overseas Territories, Overseas Departments, and Overseas Dominions. Belarussian Opposition offers peace

Opposition leaders in Belarus have sent an official message to the Soviet Union, declaring that they have the confidence of the people to negotiate on behalf of their country for peace. The Opposition claims that they wish to secure a ceasefire along the entire front including safe passage of civilians, food, water, medical supplies, and will offer in exchange demobilization of the national armed forces and demand that the criminal regime be brought to justice. With bilateral relations taking stage between Puertollano and the Arab Islamic Emirates, there has already been an agreement for Puertollano to begin construction of a defensive military base of both parties. Aircraft, vechiles and the such is already being flown over from Bogota to reach their destination in the Emirates. The High General of the Puertollanoan Armed Forces has stated that the AIE is permitted to co-operatively share the base, as well as all resources within it. Today during a monthly press conference president Li Yat-Sen has announced that he wants to take China into the international stage and wishes to create new friendships and relationships with nations from all around the world. Some nations that the president has stated he wishes to have talks with first are Germany, N.A.F, France, Japan and the Soviet Union. Then after meeting with these nation any other nation who wishes to have diplomatic talks with China will be accepted. The president has stated this will hopefully open up new economic opportunities for China such as new trade and job investments.

Looking To The Stars And Advancing Technology:
New Goverment budget was recently passed which saw a drastic increase into the Chinese space program. With these new investments the hope is to get to the moon by 2024 and to Mars by 2040. Investments in other areas of space technology such as asteroid mining and asteroid diversion, the building of more powerful telescopes to see further then ever before. The increase in the space program will also allow the hopeful creation of new technology to advance Chinese society as well as advance the world for the better. Another area of major investments are supposedly in military technology to help create an advanced army that can defend against any threat.

Neutraility Confirmed In Nigerian Conflict:
With The conflict in Nigeria and nations from around the world jumping into the conflict for a many of reasons, Li Yat-Sen has announced that China will not become involved in such a precarious situation, but wishes the best for Nigeria and hopes that stability will find its way soon. And though neutraility has been announced China would be willing to provide humanitarian supplies to both sides to help the people that are in need or basic human necessities.

EMPIRE GROWS TIRED OF WAR AND DEATH OVER LESSER PEOPLE

The Imperial Parliament has announced that they will be supporting their ally, France, but is torn between supporting several allies.
"We must secure our alliances with the North Americans, Europeans, and Arabs - but someone needs to be dropped - it is a tough decision" were the opening words to the emergency session of the largest Parliament in the world.

While the Entente comes before all, and helping the French is indisputable, "the special relationship between the Empire and the Americans must also not be lost" - according the Emperor of the British Empire King George VII when he opened Parliament. The Parliament motioned for the people of the Empire to not be engaged in useless bloodshed for a country "we care not about". Pleas have been made for the Empire to not be directly brought into the war, as this conflict is a waste of people to be sacrificed to war - the motion declared that "too many people have died from endless war, have the foreign leaders no empathy?".

It seems that British politics is generally tired of British blood being spilled over endless war. The Emperor himself addressed the nation through Parliament, saying "Now is time to stop".

Belorussian Ceasefire Accepted
With Belorussian Opposition seeking peace the Soviet Union has agreed to the terms of the ceasefire and has opened Minsk up to the opposition forces to begin peace talks for the country. Armed forces are called to halt further offensives west in search of Danik with the National Soviet recognizing the opposition as the official government of the country. Further and as part of the agreement aid is being driven in from the union to aid civilians in the conflict. Reported millions are being put into the aid project to bring clothing, medical supplies, fresh water, and foodstuffs to the nation.

The Soviet Union Welcomes China
Premir Ivanov has shown excitement at the recent diplomatic talks sponsored by China and urges the nations called to accept this offering of friendship as well. In the past China and the Soviet Union previously had extensive relations before Sino-Soviet split, and Ivanov has shown interest in bringing back this level of trust and cooperation back to both nations now without the backdrop of the ideologically charged Cold War.

Soviet Union Urges Peace
Ivanov has shocked many in the nation today by claiming that the Soviet Union will remain neutral within Nigeria. Although the various soviets have been split on who to support, many claiming the SU has a ideological responsibility to aid the rebels while others claim the stability of Nigeria must come first. As such with majority support from the National Soviet, Ivanov has declared neutrality.

Further, in a speech given in Moscow he has assured that while politically and militarily neutral in the conflict Nigeria he will to it that several brigades of peacekeepers will be present to give aid to the civilian populace. Carrying medical supplies, fresh water, foodstuffs, and disinfectants the peacekeeping force will to try and provide as best as possible a haven for those affected to escape the slaughter of the war. Ivanov has also called on other nations to give medical aid in this conflict claiming it is not a duty of not one nation nor a group of nations but a duty of the entirety of the global community to in the very least ensure a refuge from war to those who most need it.
