Head of State and Party, First Secretary of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva, the Honorable Jarren Prica, visited the University of Saela in the Glorious City of Saela, the National Capital of the Throngist Republic of Lesva. The Leader spoke with university students on a variety of topics. One of the important messages that First Secretary of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva Jarren Prica had sent to the future generation of Throngists, is that the Institution of Family is one of the foundational and fundamental values of the Throngist Ideology.
First Secretary Jarren Prica said:
"Since Throngism embraces the Collective, Unity and Togetherness, the Society of Tomorrow - the Throngist Society, while being a new type of society, also reinstates core values that have been fundamental and foundational to humanity for centuries. Some of these values have been programmed into us as part of our survival instinct, however, people have become inclined with fighting their own nature in the aspects, where they do not have to fight their own nature. This has only cost many people their happiness. Some of the fundamental values, which Throngism defends, had been decreasing in value in the post-Modernist era. In many places and in many cultures, individualism, self-interest, materalism, consumerism, personal gains, personal goals, "career paths" and the general feeding of your ego has become the new value. Individual freedom, which is a new form of selfishness but said in a more presentable form, and the notion that you do not need to rely on others or that you do not need a community, has not given people liberty. Living in your own isolated bubble is not freedom. The cult of individualism/ego and a materalist/consumerist way of life, both of which are presented as "liberty", produced generations of lonely, depressed and anxious people, who are bitter and resentful. Some are angry and want to lash out, while others pretend to be happy, but their strategy of making themselves happy and less anxious, is to fill the internal emptiness with material gains, which is a waste of time and energy, because that hole can never be filled that way.
Therefore, while the rest of humanity, especially in the so-called "Western democracies", who believe that an individualist and consumerist way of life is "freedom" and thus are lost and are chasing their own tail for happiness, the Throngist Society is reinstating the value of what is trully important and cannot be replaced. Lesva has always been a society, where most households are inhabited by an extended family and not because of economic conditions, but my a conscious cultural choice, because togetherness is everything to Lesvans, always has been and under the Throngist model we are making it absolutely fundamental as part of the Ideology we live under. Even if there are Lesvans that do not live with biological family members, they live with roommates or friends, usually several and that is a family within itself. And in general, every suburban neighborhood, every apartment bloc is a community and a family within itself as we know the names of all our neighbors and we spend time with them, because they are also our loved ones. Our doors are consistently open. And with those ideological priorities being mentioned, I would like to stop on what I began with and that is Family, despite our ideology saying that all those around us are our family.
When someone declares that Family is a priority, people automatically think that this is a rhetoric of some anti-abortion activist, who condemns couples that have not gotten married, thinks that marriage can only be between one man and one woman and that reproduction is a must. But those are not the positions that Throngism comes from, when talk about Family. Throngism does not believe in the institution of marriage or any de jure regulation of love and relationships, Throngism does not ban abortions, Throngism does not oppose same-sex relationships or relationships between any genders, Throngism does not oppose polyamorous love, Throngism does not propagate reproduction to the point of shaming people who do not want to have offsprings. Throngism follows a new way of thinking. Instead, when we talk about the priority of Family, we talk about the priority of Togetherness. Throngism advocates for remaining and strenghtening family connections, unvavering love, unvavering unity, embracing collective happiness and togetherness, while rejecting souless materialist individualist loneliness. Humans are meant to survive together, no apart."
