Hello, hello.
The 2020 World Assembly Secretary-General election is at its final stage. It is choice between five candidates and in less than 24 hours, one of them will be our new Secretary General.
It is now time for voters ask - Who will commit to be Secretary General after the election?
I recognise the reality; the Secretary General has no enforceable powers. However, do not downplay the moral mandate of the position! The position this time round is elected from the direct endorsement of hundreds of verifiable (WA) voters. Candidates, remember this and understand that the Secretary General can be what you make of it. Continue engaging with the community. Voters, demand more from your Secretary General and together we can make this election be than a novelty.
The existing establishment & authorities will rapidly resist any attempts to extend this beyond a 'April Fools Joke'. This is the real enemy of 'Elites' we face ahead. I am not asking the Secretary General to make any misleading claims of authority which they do not have. There are mechanics for the General Assembly, Security Security Council and regional delegate selection. The Secretary General is a populist, moral, spiritual position. Guide us as far as you can, if voters and candidates both keep the faith, then we can create something new and beautiful for us all.
Thank you,
Warwick Z Codger.
