Self-commendation isn't abusing the way the voting system works, it still has to pass through quorum, and reach the required number of votes - a majority - to pass.

What's being pulled here is blatant rigging of the election in order to allow one candidate, who would otherwise not have the campaign popularity or support base, to make it into the General Election at the expense of our campaign.

The votes being cast for Val and Caelapes at the moment are legitimate votes. They are cast by legitimate voters for strategic reasons. The only thing the "elites" are doing is campaigning through legitimate channels.

Since when was voting for your second or third choice candidate to prevent the worst candidate from winning a form of fraud? This happens very often in real elections, especially but not exclusively ones using the type of voting system we see here.
