Once again, I am standing for the honour of WA Secretary-General. In 2016, through my candidacy the NS Sport community left a timely reminder of its unity, strength of purpose and ability to punch above its weight, finishing high compared to comparatively large communities. But I am not just a candidate for NS Sporters. I am a candidate for us all. And for that reason, I have one main policy; to arrest the greatest threat to world peace that has ever existed. The man who threatens our very way of life every second he walks free. That's right.

I'm talking about Max Barry.

For too long the Bald One has towered over us, his dystopian gaze the front of a calculating, evil mind set to destroy us all. At any moment, he could turn NationStates off. Making Eura Secretary-General is the first step to a revolution that will free us from the tyranny of the Great Writer and his whims, and replace him with the Liberation of the Users. It will not be the end, not even the beginning of the end, but it will be the end of the beginning.

The war to defeat Max Barry will be long and arduous. But we shall prevail. How, you may ask? What if all others are defeated, and only Eura and its core NS Sport support survives? I borrow now from the words I spoke upon this plinth four years ago, as we prepared for our first campaign.

I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our NationStates home, to ride out the storm of the moderator clampdown, and to outlive the menace of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone. At any rate, that is what we are going to try to do. That is the resolve of the Euran government as it stands up to be the NS Sport candidate - and the candidate of every single user that wishes for us to be free from the tyranny of the Bald One. That is the will of the WA and the nation. The United Federation and our Rushmori allies, joined by our Esportivan, Atlantian and other NS Sport friends, linked together in their cause and in their need, will defend to the death their native soil, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength.

Even though large tracts of Nationstates and many old and famous Forums have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Mod Team and all the odious apparatus of Admin, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in the World Cup RP thread, we shall fight on the Gameplay sphere, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in Moderation, we shall defend our website, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the Discord, we shall fight on NSG, we shall fight in the RMB's and in the WA; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this website or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our allies beyond the seas, armed and guarded by Euran leadership, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, a new order in NationStates, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

God willing I - we - shall triumph, in the name of Margaret, blessed is her name. I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.

Now Mr. Eura, what makes you believe you can run as a sports candidate? Sports are pretty inactive these days outside of Belarus. What kitchen table issues would really change if you were in charge?

I am only a candidate born of sports. I am a candidate for all NS!

I would change all sorts of kitchen table issues. For starters, I'd move the salt, which is FAR too close to the head of the table and we all know it. My other measures would include:

- Banning Max Barry from the kitchen table
- De-radicalising the cutlery
- Nationalise gravy
- Spin all the plates

And what would you get individually? Why, a three course meal of your choosing! Cooked by a Michelin star chef! For free! On a pile of money!

Mr. Eura, I am a concerned centrist voter in these elections. When Eura Victor, how do you plan on there being enough Victor to go around for all?

I am uniquely positioned to appeal to you, Centrist Voter. I can offer a softly regulated market to Rich Centrist Voters, and a strong social security net to Poor Centrist Voters, and those Middle Class Centrists Voters are just going to love my balanced tax rates and support getting on the housing ladder! And all of them will have jobs! Awesome jobs, like fighter pilots and cheerleaders!

There will be plenty Victor for all by Balancing The Books through Strong and Stable Leadership of our Big Society, but also by being compassionately For The Many Not The Few and, once I'm in office, Things Can Only Get Better.

I am proud to have served under the great leadership of Eura as a member of the International Geese Brigade. I am proud to have voted for Eura in 2016. I am proud to have voted for Eura in 2020. Down with Max Barry (but only after you buy his new book)! Up with Eura!

Both you and Atlantian Oceania are almost even in voting but are being out voted by many other niche candidiates. If you gets less votes than your main oppoent, will you continue to split the sports vote?

Eura is my preferred choice but given that Atlantian Oceania is actually getting votes from outside of NS Sports, we need to unify behind Atlantian Oceania or we're not going to have a candidate in the top 25.

On the flip side there has been a report from VilTur which alleges that most AO voters are random voters who made their choice because of the candidate's high order on the current list. AO did start their campaign considerably early.


While there are NS Sport regulars on both lists, one has considerably more. That would be the main argument in Eura’s favor during this Eura/AO dispute.

This just shows we can win if Eurabros fall in line and vote sports no matter who. Atlantian Oceania is clearly more popular among the vital non-sports swing voters.
