Someone is jealous and can only win with an alliance of the right.

It is not jealously, but legitimacy. there was a plurality, not a majority. A majority in this electorate did not want the winner, therefore making a runoff fair.

I believe the better term, "Comrade", is someone wishes to see a true *fascist Candidate emerge

Or maybe the better term, "Comrades", is this is a joke, this whole game is a joke, let them joke about a redo, and don't worry about the jokes "COMDRADES"

In all seriousness I think a runoff would be a good practice in democracy, granted though it's likely Calapes would still win as all he would need is 9 percent of the vote extra.

But most of the people from the other campaigns hate communism...

Not really, just a lot of vocal people on the forums. quite a few of which were joking.

What is fair about winning without holding the Peoples' Majority? This rejoicing by the Communists only reinforces our claims of your two-facedness and falseness, choosing to take a false victory rather than advocating for a true Peoples' Choice right alongside us. If you truly are here for the people and their empowerment, would you not have faith that a majority would pick you?

Not universally true. Many avoided the race after the first rounds and their regional candidates lost. I will urge my comrades for Caelapes to the best of my abilities to avoid a rightist candidate.

Most people don't read the forums.

Most people look at the names of the latest forum topic from time to time and they never see the word Caelapes there, the word Redo and Salaxalans appears alot, so we would win. Not that it matters, this is all over a shiny badge.... yay

It is surely exactly what the Communists would call for if they were in the Potato position.

The Voltrovian Legation to this World Assembly requests, nay demands a runoff.

Precisely. We, the free (and capitalist) nations of the world would happily challenge Communism in an open ballot - and roundly defeat it. Is it not telling that the reverse is not true.

Lets be real here, no one got an actual majority. It would be in good faith to the democratic system to have a Run off with just Salaxal and Caelapes. as a former Marxist myself I think any true communist worth his salt would be scared of an election if he felt his idles were just and true.

I just don't see a reason to retake the votes, if you put it between just two candidates people are going to choose what they've been conditioned to believe is the lesser of the two evils. You're effectively taking away even more choice... But actually I still think we'd win. Either way, it's just satire bro. Caelapes already has his badge... I don't think this will be retaken regardless.

You never know. The mods might hold a runoff as a final surprise.
