To all my supporters, I'm forever grateful, but sadly we didn't make it. I choose to vote for the candidate I see as best (now that I'm out of the race), but it's up to you all to decide for yourself who you'll vote for instead.
Once again, thank you very much. And I'm sorry.

Campaign Song
Honoured citizens of NationStates! Fellow nations!
I remember a time, when wars were honourable. I remember a time, when there still was glory in invading and defending. The good old days. Not as it is today, when raiders attack only to destroy, to wipe out the regional history that are the RMB:s, to defecate on the WFE:s, and murderously ban and eject innocent Natives. No. That has to end.
I used to be a mercenary, and I've done some raiding. I admit it, and I won't hide it. However, I lost the taste for it when what once was a gentlemen's game became dirty and corrupt. Barbaric even. So I quit. But I still remember the old days. And the old ways.
I remember a time, when raiders attacked worthy opponents in their own size, instead of targeting small, weak regions.
I remember a time, when it was a real fight between invaders and defenders, on equal terms. No curb stomp battles or slaughter, but a proper competition over regional power.
I remember a time, when the sole goal of a raid was to topple the old leadership, maybe mess around a little on the RMB, and then politely leave. The vandalization of regional content wasn't around during the old days as it unfourtunately is today.
The old days, and the old ways. I remember them. I'm sure many of you do too. To those of you don't, I say this: Wouldn't this responsible way to raid be something good, something better than what we have today, something to strive for?
I believe it is. Responsible raiding is my vision, my dream, and I hope to make it true. How, I admit I do not yet know, but I promise you this: We will find a way, together. Together, we can make NationStates cute again.
What we need to do in order to establish responsible raiding is also to crack down on those offenders who can't behave (such as DEN and the former Black Riders). And I mean harder than today. Not just a condemnation, but a permanent DOS. However, law abiding raiders, according to my proposal, would still be allowed to operate as long as they follow the rules of raiding.
Legalize it, regulate it strictly, and enforce the law.
For a cuter NationStates, where roleplayers and gameplayers can co-exist. Also, everyone who votes for me gets a free ezo momonga! Surely an ezo momonga is more desirable than the kittens or waterslides that other candidates try to bribe you with.
But don't take just my word for it! Here's what Lamoni, II Roleplay Mentor, has to say:
Hello Nationstates,
It is with great pleasure and honor that I throw my full political support behind Barapam, who is in the running for the position of WA Secretary General.
Barapam is willing and able to return NS to a time when even the Raiders were more respectful, and took on opponents of their own size, instead of ganging up on small and founder less regions that cannot defend themselves.
Barapam's plan begins by making examples of the worst of the modern, spineless type of raiders (DEN, and former TBR members). With this accomplished, the long-neglected rules of raiding would be restored to their old puissance, via new, stricter punishments for violators of those rules, up to and including DOS on the NS website!
Barapam wishes to become the WA Secretary General, and I cannot think of anyone more suited for the job.
Elections are currently underway, and we deserve a say in who runs the WA. Vote for Barapan! Vote for anime, and a tough stance on raiders! Make Nationstates cute again!
Vote Barapam. A vote for Barapam is a vote for you!
Thank you for reading, and may Violet bless NationStates!
