With the Elections over, I'd like to give a final shout-out to various candidates and their campaign teams:

For running a campaign that reflected both seriousness and good-spirited humor, and of course for successfully becoming the second WA Secretary-General with nearly half of all the votes in the General Election. Congratulations!

For running a campaign on positivity, and for the creativity of giving everyone their own handpicked catgirls. Win or lose, the TACLC campaign was fun and wholesome in a way that went beyond the election itself. (Also credit for the original positivity message that this ended up unintentionally resembling)

For running a very organized and competitive campaign, and for the admirable act of forfeiting your own campaign in order to strengthen and support the campaign of a friend. You might not have won the election, but you certainly won some respect.

For making a valiant fight for re-election amidst stiff competition, and for completing a successful tenure as the first WA Secretary-General. Now you can sit back and enjoy retirement with your head held high.

For having an all-around fun, creative, positive, and happy campaign that was carried almost exclusively by likeability alone, which is an accomplishment in and of itself. With that many friends, can you really say you lost?

For making a respectable showing in the final preliminary round despite being one of the underdogs. Where many other non-frontrunner candidates found themselves slowly losing support, yours steadily expanded instead. Though it wasn't quick enough to make the final cut, it deserves an honorable mention.

For running a campaign that embraced the silliness of April Fools, and never wavered from its singular and most important goal: to have fun. May your campaign's spirit live on through the countless bazookas now distributed across the NationStates world.

For doing their best to compete and entertain, for representing their teams and voters, and for their participation that made the Election the fun event that it was.

Well done, and thank you all not just for the four days of fun, but also for all the souvenir potatoes, catgirls, race cars, bazookas, and more!
