Not gonna lie. Constantly have to reload the webpage of the exchange rate because it stops updating every 5 minutes.. So I have missed like 5 small spikes.

Yes, the graph cannot keep up. It hasn't done that, since the beginning.

3k isn't really enough to foreshadow a crash. It usually has to reach into the 5k+ range for a dramatic crash to be likely. Otherwise it goes down more gradually.
