Its a real shame.
If the mechanic was "there was an evolution of the virus" and alpha missiles were reduced from 5% to 0.5% until beta missiles could be researched, that would make sense. Because at least you could feel like you could still participate and it would make narrative sense.
But to have been playing with a group of people, enjoying ourselves and really flowing and then get smacked with the "wait for 90 minutes" wall is really mentally arresting.

This is exactly how I feel. We had a good flow going in our region with a decent number of people involved with curing, and the reset to waiting drove us all from the rest of the event. This is a huge disappointment for me, as someone who looks forward to Z-Day and really doesn't enjoy N-Day.

Yeah, it seems way easier to get death squads than to get cure for me. After all, we already HAVE carpet bombing, the virus will probably just mutate again if we find a cure, and our Glorious Fearless Supreme Leader does not fear being accused of war crimes. Honestly I recommend death squads for everyone else.

Yeah it kinda sucks. Not for me though, I can guarantee that if my nation were a real nation there'd be a vast section of the military itching to try out their new weaponry.

LOL I saw this coming, I correctly guessed a reset for cure research because it would indeed, be a good trick. Ever since last year's random worldwide lifting of closed borders, I had my eyes peeled for this one.

I am honestly alright with it, I want my friend's region to top the Z-Day charts and having to work for it is fine by me. GG for making Z-Day unpredictable and entertaining.

I have to admit this event is massively broken. It’s just not funny at all seeing a random nation hitting you with a level 1 horde while you are asleep, and your goverment goes “ guess we export zombies now “ and does 99% of his work. It was a single attack that undid all my work and then nobody could help me because this.

N-day already became an hard skip for me, I guess Z-day will too be a day I’m off Nationststes. An event is not suppose to make you feel frustrated at the calvinball level of it.
