Z-Day Bugs, Questions, and just General talk

He started it then stopped it just saying that it was a mistake and a bug. I find this odd because he did not have any issues with N-day, this would be my first Z-day. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

The bug was that people who already did Z Day started with their stats from last year.

hmmmmmmmmm interesting, does that mean that its not going to happen this year. As I said this is my first and was really hoping to do it.

I feel sure if anything it proves it is going to happen. It is a sign they were poking at the code for it

There's a optout of Z-Day button in your settings.

yea I heard about that button and I thought lets make sure that's not turned of and then I go to check it and its not there, wonder if its just my computer bugging out, and not loading.

From me poking around in the menu, it seems like there is no way to help myself reduce the zombie count, except requesting cure missiles, is that true?

Your region is essentially toast. You may be researching cure but until the cure is discovered and distributed on a regional level, and that Z-Rating is in the negatives, the hordes will continue to grow. You will continue to be infected, and that will slow cure progress. Because of the high Z-Rating and your region's already incredibly infected state, there is no real winning endgame for the anti-zombie forces in the region of Karma unless outside aid is procured. You will eventually be overrun entirely.

Is it natural that some nations' zombie counts are naturally decreasing with no deaths and no cure missiles?

Or did it help that other nations in the region were receiving cures, and it spilled over?

I was going to ask the same question. Left purely researching a cure, nations seem to be having the zombification mostly subsiding. Weird.

Depends on the region. Once the Z-Rating is in the negatives- generally indicative of the cure being found/distributed/zombies being made exceedingly rare, etc- zombies across the region will start to naturally be cured passively. Outside of an active assault by organized zombie empires, of course.

How do you get involved in researching the cure?

When I googled it there were indications that there's a special issue you're supposed to get (as long as you haven't opted out, which I have not), but I haven't gotten one. Is there a minimum time in existence requirement, or a time limit to engage with the issue? (I had work, and then a power outage and didn't get to check in here until waaay later than usual).

If you check your nation's homepage you will see a red biohazard symbol, like this:

You click on that and it will bring you to a screen with options and updates on your progress.

Well, that’s quite disappointing to be honest. I’ve put effort into this, and all of sudden, he does this. I guess I’ll be prepared for next year instead.
