That will be 1pm PDT, my time. I'm accustomed to the countdown timer - its pretty convenient knowing exactly when it will start.

Z-Day then ends 36 hours later, Nov 1 1am PDT / 4am EDT (or, rather it would be - but there is the Daylight Savings Time --> Standard Time transition during Z-Day, right?) ?

So, will Z-Day still be 36 hours long this year? or is it an hour longer due to the time change?

Actually I have zombies just now - like in the last few minutes - according to the zombie control page. But when I click 'research cure' it does not work, and there is no zombie stuff on my main nation page. I'm trying to figure out if it started yet or not.

It is possible to opt out of Z-Day by going to the settings of your account and choose the "No Zombies" option.

But the "Quarantined" tag appeared in my region Z defenders. When does it start? (Presumably in ~ an hour as that was last time but I have no idea)
