Attention all Vessels! Attention all Vessels! This is the Nazair, we are a Fishing Vessel from the Jersey Republic. There are 20 souls on board, does anyone read us? We are low on fuel, and far from our home...Some of us have family, once again, all Vessels, this is the Nazair...

Captain Harold Spritzer stepped away from the radio as his First Officer took over. He stared out at the Ocean before him. He knew very little of the situation on the mainland, only that something bad was happening. The only thing that mattered to him was that his family was in danger. However, he was too, most of the fuel was expended outrunning a rather fierce military Vessel a day before. That didn't matter to him now, all that mattered was getting home, one way or the other.

[Sisuvia]

A fuzzy reply would come in over the radio, cutting in and out irregularly.

Hallo, th- ... the Sisuvian Naval Ship Han- ... Ple- ... res-...

The message would suddenly come through clearly.

Dammit Orlogskaptein, I can't get this damn machine working!

The First Officer of the Nazair, Mike Marbles, suddenly lit up like a Christmas tree when the Sisuvian Vessel was heard. Although it was a faint reception, he quickly tried to respond.

"Hey! You there!"

He beckoned to a crew member.

"Tell the Captain we've made contact...about bloody time."

Michael immediately returned to widening the radio reception.

[Sisuvia]

The radio would stay steady, and the person on the other end could be heard speaking to someone in the background.

Nevermind Sir. It's clear now.

They would speak into the radio again.

F/V Nazair, this is the SNS Hansen. Are you able to hear this?

Ay, I can hear you, thank heavens we did...SNS...are you Sisuvian? I know a bloke from Sisuvia, he's a good chap...I digress, apologies.

The Captain walked into the comms room, escorted by the crewmate that Michael dispatched.

A commsman of the HRS Odysseas picked up a civilian vessels SOS signal and went to his CO to get permission to investigate. The CO said sure as they were not given any orders from landside, so the commsman went back to his station and sent out a reply

This is the RS Odysseas, please confirm your location and turn on any and all navigational aids and keep this channel open. If in danger, please send us information on any threats to your security.

Ingvesson: Affirmative Commsman. I'll go inform my commanding officer and we'll get underway.

He would turn the radio back over to Wiker to speak with the Nazair, and then leave the bridge. The Hansen was busy with activity, with ten dozen sailors doing whatever they could to stay busy. Going below deck, he would weave through the twists and turns until he came to a stateroom. Kontreadmiral Edvin Svehla would be sat at a desk with a radio of his own. Ingvesson would salute, and Svehla would wave to him to set him at ease.

Svehla would shake his head.

Svehla: I think we're the only ones left from Karthkenon.

The Orlogskaptein would nod sadly.

I: We just made contact with two other ships, will we go to the RS Odysseas, sir?

Svehla would visualize the ship in his mind, trying to place the nation and armaments before nodding in the affirmative.

S: Yes, we will.

The bridge crew would remain in the bridge, and those with essential tasks would continue to perform them, but the two ranking officers would wait on the deck with the rest of the crew to watch the Supercarrier as it got closer.

Thank Goodness, I uh, have a request. I know we’re a foreign vessel but we’re in need of a refueling. Is it possible we can rendezvous?

The crew waited in abatement for the Sisuvian vessels response. Unbeknownst to them, they were already involved in another mixup with a military vessel.

After a while, the RS Odysseas sees the much smaller SNS Hansen and signals it to approach and prep for a landing party.

The Hansen would prepare to receive the Odysseas' crew, with Ingvesson and Svehla changing into their Full Dress uniforms. The world may have been ending, but it wasn't an excuse for complacency in decorum. The bridge crew would remain in the bridge, and those with essential tasks would continue to perform them, but the two ranking officers would wait on the deck with the rest of the crew to watch the Supercarrier as it got closer.

The XO of the RS Odysseas had gotten into the helicopter with a Norwegian speaking CPO Anders as interpreter. The XO, Nikola, and the CPO landed and got out greeting the smaller ship. Anders walked over to the other Sisuvian officers and said,
"Hello officers, we are officers of the Imperial Byzantine Navy, we intercepted a transmission about a stranded civilian ship and wanted to coordinate a rescue attempt. We will head up the mission considering our own assets. We have sent our own message asking for their location, but have yet to receive a response. How is your situation with the vessel?"

Wiker: I don't know if national ties have as much importance right now, Captain. We can get you fuel, just give us time to make a rendezvous and get us your location.

The Hansen would prepare to receive the Odysseas' crew, with Ingvesson and Svehla changing into their Full Dress uniforms. "Good", I signal to the carrier to deploy a long range tracking antenna, and the Comms Crew does so. "With that antenna, we can pick up their location from your transmissions to them to get a location within 500m. Continue dialogue with them." Nikola then asked to come inside as the waves were getting choppier and he was on a smaller ship.
