Everyone's dead or zombified, and most of my region got zombie-wiped too.
I am not proud at how much time that took.

Not done yet, i have been sacrificing my nation to kill zombies, which is lots of fun.

Everyone in my nation is either zombified or dead. I did not try to kill them because by the time I was able to get on and close borders, zombies were already ravaging my region. Also, efforts to eliminate them are futile in my region since no one else is active to cure them.

I was able to make it out with about an 89ish percent survival rate. One of my “allies”decided to drop a few zombies into my nation and kill some to start racking up the kills. So I turned him to what the better part of dust, along with his many puppets.

Slightly less than half the population died, but the cure was fully deployed in the end. The death count would've been much, much, higher though if I hadn't received support from a friendly region (many thanks to Bus Stop).

We did really well. With Forest all bombarding me with cure missiles, I was able to rid myself of the infection in no time and end out with a 100% survival rate and a peak zombie percentage of just under 10%.

~90% at first, but dropped down to ~85% in the last 12 hours. As I was killing zombies, as soon is they sprung up they basically disappeared.

Got heavily infected, a prickwaffle killed 70% of my population, got cured up by some mates and led a crusade that got the cure finished and let the rest of the region survive. In the middle brought in a puppet with ~5 bil zombies to attack the military guys who were murdering tens of billions of infected before we could cure them, so kinda played both sides of the event.

I did way better than expecting. Started curing early but needed sleep after the first two hours. Got attacked by a zombie hoarder and had to call in one or two favours to cure me but we did fantastically well considering. Managed to save the region as well despite being the only one active. Apart from some nation who wanted to just export.

Although things goes south when I went AFK for a few hours (some people call it "sleep"), in the end we did pretty well especially considering that I lived in a feeder region. There was also an unfortunate incident where missclick led to the mild wrath of the Supreme Commander.

10/10 would use the great strategy again (take your largest puppet and bombard eachother with cure before helping fellow region mates).

Had a blast sharing the gift of brain-gnawing with my fellow region-mates*. However, I kept losing zombies thanks to nations launching cure missiles my way; it was frustrating to see my populace constantly being cured of this deadly mutation.

In the end, my region's Z-Rating was over 110. I'd consider that a pretty good score from my POV.

* (They really weren't happy with the gift, to tell the truth.)

Not well, because I did not have time to watch over it all the time. I went to class, to the hospital and to bed and woke up to find my nation dead as expected.

That said, I did try to bomb people with cure and got bombed with cure from time to time.

Got kicked out by my region's old founder because I turned rogue to become a zombie exporter

Now in the region of Unibot and Sedgistan just waiting for the event to be over...... was fun! 4 million dead though

Dagnia as well as our small region had a 100% survival rate thanks mostly to our fellow member Weller Centennial.

My nation Embraced the zombies, and was instrumental in my dastardly plot to Zombify my home region. I doomed The Alliance of Dictators to a zombie invasion through clever tactics! No-one expected a thing. I sent hordes at lots of inactive players with huge populations, and then ravaged the Top 5 nations for Cure Research until they retaliated. But their revenge against me was futile, as they did not see the full extent of the damage I'd already tone. Haha! >:u

Mine did great! 100% survival rate! in fact, the entire region did great, since every just fired cure missiles at each other.

Nine hours after the first verifiable case of the "zombie" virus, less than three hours after the official response began, there were no infected remaining in Eahland or greater Avalonia. No fatalities attributable to the virus or its effects have been reported. At one point, Avalonia was ranked 15th in the world among regions with the most survivors and no infected.

The response was slow to get underway this year for various reasons, not least among them that British West Zuzunia's feeble excuse for a government had completely collapsed hours earlier, and intervention was required to install something that could implement an official response (under close Eahlisc and Imperial guidance, as otherwise the Zuzunians would have just shot each other, and if we were lucky some of the infected too). Also, deployment of superweapons required authorization from the cyning, who had more pressing matters to attend to than a few zombies; to wit, ensuring that there was an adequate supply of candy to hand out to children in costume who knocked on the door of Cyninghamfæsten on Winterniht. (Most popular costume: Harry Potter, just edging out Zombie. Zombie Harry Potters counted for both categories.)

Last year, Z-Day in Avalonia lasted only four hours, so we have to consider nine hours from outbreak to complete cure a poor response. Mistakes were made. Errors will be corrected. Next year, we will ensure adequate Winterniht candy supplies earlier, so that relatively trivial matters like the zombie apocalypse can be given all the focus they deserve.

Empress Miya Konohana: "Ahem, we were the first to respond to the TRR virus and cured it whole without even trying to use our military or our allies' for a good three Lucia days and stayed that way for the remaining four of the seven days. I would daresay a 100% success rate in 2230."
