How well did your nation fare Z-day?

This was my first z-day, and my nation has a 99.49% survival rate; it is therefore safe to say that my nation survived. I'm kind of shocked about this because this the first z-day I have ever experienced. That being said, how did your nation fare? Do you have millions of survivors, or were you quickly overrun? Did you anticipate such outcome?

Nipped the zombies in the bud quickly by focusing on a cure, and everyone survived. First time I tried that route instead of just using the extermination squads early on.

It appears that a group of nations took it upon themselves to kill zombies in your region. Zombie elimination squads were sent in to your nation several times according to your national happenings.

100% survival, and I did it by curing my single-nation region all by myself! Wasn't sure if that would work, but it did. Took a lot longer to cure without any cure missiles though.

on a scale of 1 - 10, with 1 being 0 survivors 0 zombies 100% dead, and 10 being 100% survivors 0 zombies 0 dead, I'd give myself a 9/10.

I didn’ know it was starting so I logged on about 16 hours after it started and of my 1 billion people, 1 million remained. But lucky some of the puppets I own didn’t completely,die and I was able to cure to a solid 12 mil. I’m hoping they don’t die again as I sleep.

I'll admit, there were several times I thought my nation would die, but in the end, I had a 88.79% survival rate. 10/10 would do again.
