We will embrace the hordes as always, and in fact, some are talking about crop-dusting Cybertron itself with Zombie Factor this year.

The reason is simple: As robots, we are affected much differently by zombification than biologicals are. While biologicals lose their mental functioning, and then eventually rot out, WE become basically invincible.

Metal does not rot. Mind-boards also do not rot. Therefore, we keep our full faculties. Meanwhile, we gain the ability to operate in "undead" status. What does that mean for beings of metal? It means that if you blow away half of our engine, we keep functioning. You shot a hole through our battery? Still functioning. Managed to get a headshot and took out 3 of 5 mind-boards? Dimmer we may indeed become with that, since that's where the conscious data is stored, but...still functioning. Some of us have already intentionally zombified ourselves during past Z-Days, and more will surely do so this year. So far, we haven't all done it, but that's mainly because we don't all have the chance to properly expose ourselves to the Zombie Factor (though a few are known to keep some in reserve just in case they have to switch to a new body and then zombify it).

We await this day with eagerness.

Of course, we have other reasons for awaiting this day. Every year around this time, we stop throwing our deactivated slaves into Biological Rendering, and instead, put a special control chip onto/into the brainstem of each one. Then, we throw the chipped carcasses into enclosures that are completely fenced in (including a roof made of cyclone fence-type material). Then, we wait.

When Z-Day arrives, all of these recently-deceased slaves from all over the Empire arise, apparently with the intention to run wild. However, we activate those control chips we mentioned, basically turning them into remote-controlled worker drones. These are then distributed to any mines that need extra labor and worked until they disintegrate. While they aren't nearly as versatile as living biological slaves thanks to their brains turning to mush (forcing them to have to be directly controlled down to the steps they take), they are almost no-cost and are completely expendable.

On top of all of that, it goes without saying that we also stage a huge Military Raid and ransack planets that are engulfed in Z-Day chaos or its sequelae. This day makes once-hard targets into pushovers, and it takes several more days for the targets to re-harden. We may even take over some planets during this time. They will welcome their new robotic overlords when zombie overlords are the alternative!

Finally, each year's strain of Zombie Factor is carefully studied and weaponized. Our military still has some of each prior year's versions, too. Dusting an unprepared enemy with any of this at an unexpected time of year always brings hilarious, yet effective, results.

The nation will bunker down and wait for it to blow over.

Martial law and curfews will be in place, and cities have already begun barricading and preparing.
Anti-Zombie squads have already begun sweeping the nation, arming paramilitary-trained school students with weapons.
Schools have been built and designed to be defensive areas for years, and paramilitary training is mandatory, unless you’re a known opposer to the state.

The armed forces, police, and many of our armed people and ponies and changelings will be out there slaughtering the zombies with gunfire. The Queen will arm herself but stay in her palace, our pony leader Clever One will arm himself but stay in 10 Upping Street for safety. Laws against gunfire in the streets will be relaxed on Halloween.

Close Borders, send the Grand Overseer of the Interplanetary Navy as well as the heads of the Guilds of Engineers and Scholars for to ZITI.
The Armed Forces will battle the zombies on the ground. our local problem of the Bionic Outbreak can be easily contained but foreign imports, not quite easily.
The People, while armed, are asked to remain at homes, or in Airborne Shelters.

Of course, the cities of Futcit, Clockwork city, Bravil, Bravil and Coven are safe. probably.

I'm not too sure. I will probably use cure missiles, but amassing a horde doesn't sound too bad...

Our kingdom is creating truces and pacts with local militias and armed groups in hopes of patrolling and exterminating any zombies in rural and jungle areas. This way we can not only quarantine ourselves, but help stabilize local tensions using this tragedy.

Black Dogs are good for zombie hunting along with biteproof clothing. So are riot police in armor with axes and high caliber weapons. Detection and slaughter first.

I'm kind of a noob, so I don't know how to prepare

Do you prepare by taking that poll in the World Assembly? Because I took that poll.

We will close borders, quarantine cities already affected and restrict trade with other countries. Even, since our Monarchy spans from the Philippines to Flanders, we will trade with our own provinces and only our ships will be allowed to station there. Of course, inland exclaves like Milan, Franco Condado, Luxembourg and Charolais will be severely affected, but the government will do whatever it can to supply those areas.

The Spanish road (A trade route going from Amsterdam all the way to Naples) will be closed. We can say this will stagnate the economy of the exclaves and countries like the various Germans or the French eastern trade, but there needs to be an understanding that this is to prevent any further infection of the disease.

The armed forces shall be working with the security services to contain the virus and protect as much of the populace as possible. The Emperor, the Imperial Family, and the government shall be evacuated to the fortress world of Bastion, where they shall be joined by the Imperial Senate. A series of decrees shall be issued preventing unauthorised travel between star systems by civilians. Finally, the state militias shall be mobilised and all citizens issued arms and survival equipment.

Activation of PLAN SCARLET: Martial law is issued, the Military Reserves and The National Guard are mobilized. The Imperial Federal Police takes direct command of all local police forces. All commercial flights are grounded. People all around our Glorious Empire are evacuated to major urban centres, where the Army Engineer Corps is creating quarantine zones, by constructing walls in the streets and sealing buildings. The metropolitan systems seal hermetically all the stations and tunnels outside those quarantine zones, and barricades are also created in the sewers.
All naval vessels return to base and their crew members join the troops on the ground. The Navals Air Squadrons are transferred to AFBS and armed with napalm bombs to lay fire on the Zombies, should the situation require it. The Imperial Border Guard seals the frontiers, while all the special forces units in the country ( The Scarlet Rangers of the Imperial Guard, the BloodTalons, and the units belonging to the 3 military branches) get ready to be deployed anywhere in the country at a moment's notice, armed with hazmat suits, flamethrowers and other weapons, to lay waste to those filthy undead.

As for the Imperial Family, they enter the bunkers located directly beneath the Imperial Compound, where they will soon be joined by the members of the Imperial Federal Parliament.
When everyone in the Country has been accounted for and medically checked for any signs of infections, we wait. Not in fear, because we are THE HUNTER,not THE PREY!!

Cure all the members in our region and ourselves. If there are any commands made by TWP, we'll follow them as close as we can.

Regionwise, the Empire of Japanese Pacific States has already established a specialized Z-control region of which only the members know the password of. Upon the day in which Zs start popping up the Empire of Japan (Along with my many puppets) will begin curing ourselves and other nationstates.

The military is gearing up to defend the nation. Millions of gas masks are being manufactured for all citizens and soldiers. Many civilians own military-grade firearms, including at least 28 registered armored vehicles, so the military will mainly focus on defending the borders and a few strong-points. Any nation found to aid the zombie hordes will be utterly destroyed with incendiary bombardment. The mercenary organizations have all been recalled from contracts overseas and are stationed around Corantia. Many barricades are being set up in streets, along with incendiary mines. Civilians are being issued SMGs and drip torches to help any who don't already have a firearm fend off zombies, and dispose do corpses.

Right Wing Undeath Squads will patrol the streets and exterminate the threat. Death is a preferable alternative to undeath.

Martial Law shall be implemented, and the military mobilized, with spec ops troops killing with no discrimination until a cure is plausible.
