Ladies and gentlemen. We have a significant challenge in our world today.
When my good friend Bo Borden lost his beloved daughter to the zombie horde, he resolved to do everything he could to ease other's suffering and prevent other families from going through what he did. Since our launch of the Brain Candy foundation, we have spurred unprecedented cooperation between government agencies and leaders in the public and private sectors. Together, we are creating new, lower-cost tools for patient care, in our endeavor to find a cure, one that is affordable for all.
To achieve that end, I'm here to ask you to take action, to join this initiative, to make a difference, to climb higher, as we fight this quiet epidemic we have on our hands. I believe that the pharmaceutical industry can be an incredible source of innovation, giving us revolutionary treatments for this dreadful disease. But time is running out. Now is the time to unleash this opportunity, to come together, now, as one world, and establish funding for an Affordable Cure Act, so that health departments, local and state governments, everybody will know that there are resources coming forth, and they will be able to take action.
There's a clear choice here. A fair choice, for you, for your family. We are going to find an affordable cure, to help families overcome this disease and end this outbreak. If not, we're going to allow billions of people to die while the insurance companies and the military write the rules. I urge you to stand with me, and move ahead, together, to end this cataclysmic disaster, by funding the necessary research before it's too late. Thank you.
