Alright, this is the internet, we've all seen those discussions about how you would survive the zombie apocalypse. Everyone has their own ideas about how to best escape death by the dead.
But what about in your nation? How do citizens in your nation react to the zombie apocalypse? Do they sit tight and wait for the government to bail them out, or do they go it alone? What weapons do they use? Do they embrace the apocalypse as a sign from the Great Death God?
In Excidium Planetis, most citizens go it alone: after all, the vast majority of them are gun owners, and well armed. Plus, the government probably abandoned them all to save themselves.
The preferred weapon of choice for survivors is your common rocket pistol. The semi-automatic fire allows ammo to be conserved, and the guided rocket rounds allow headshots to be achieved much more easily than on a regular firearm. Citizens who have run out of ammunition or lack such a weapon resort to using various makeshift weapons, mostly constructed from knives and spaceship parts.
With religious beliefs on short supply, the apocalypse is viewed as a mere biological weapon, not some kind of supernatural event.
