Approximately 33 hours after initial outbreak, infection has spread throughout the
Victory Corporation. Mandatory lockdown has been issued for all citizens.
Essential Victory Corporation Employees are, however, restricted from leaving
workspace and are expected to assist in any and all ways possible in the current
emergency. Overtime and hazard pay are active where appropriate. Citadel is on
orange alert- no entrance or exit from Citadel or other essential Victory
Corporation buildings. Entrances have been magnetically locked in accordance with

In addition to initial outbreak in Skyrise, infection has spread to several other
major cities: Dome, Metropolis, Springwater, and unconfirmed reports in Sanctum,
Glassport, and Overwatch. All cities have instituted travel restrictions by order
of upper management, departures will not be allowed from any city except under
special circumstances, or in the case of the Victory Corporation Defense Force. An
estimated 30,000 citizens have been infected thus far, with lockdown measures 96%
successful in preventing further infection. Air filters seem to be effective at
preventing infection through airborne means, but as of yet it is impossible to
prevent infection from skin exposure. Thus far, 22 casualties have been reported
from the VCDF, including one mostly unarmored 5-man logistics crew. Emergency body
armor and filter masks have been distributed to all VCDF employees.

Timestamp 1858 update: Overwatch Lab 39 has had a breakthrough on research of
ZMB-48. It has mutated from its original form, retaining original function but
becoming intensely contagious through methods detailed in previous memos. Lab 39
has created ZMB-48C, which is an improvement upon the last, unmutated ZMB-48
strain. ZMB-48C, henceforth referred to as ZMC, counteracts the effects of ZMB-48,
returning infected subjects as close to their original state as possible.
Unfortunately, not all can be saved, and ZMC is ineffective on subjects rendered
dead by lethal bullet to the brain, but can reverse infection and even repair
injuries sustained in the process of infection. ZMC is currently being created,

Man Shot Dead For Eating Another Man’s Face

A man has been shot dead by the Jakarta Capital Police for chewing another man's face

JAKARTA — A Jakarta man was caught chewing another man’s face in Meester Cornelis district in the early hours of Sunday, when a group of partygoers who were making their way home walked past the grisly scene. The man was reportedly shot by the police on site and his body immediately removed from the scene, along with the victim who eyewitnesses believed had also died.

Another eyewitness who was in the vicinity managed to capture a video which shows that the man had been walking with limp, before he chewed his victim’s face. The victim appeared to be lying motionless, except for the occasional flailing of his legs. This video has now become viral, amassing over 5 million views in just two hours on LeakTube.

It is unclear whether the man was under the influence of psychedelic drugs at the time he committed the gruesome act, but the police has repeatedly reassured the public that they will investigate this case in a speedy manner. Family members of the victim have been informed of this bizarre incident by the police and refused to comment on the situation when asked by reporters.

The investigation also forced the closure of immediate area surrounding the crime scene and had muddled morning traffic in the district. Jakartans took their confusion to social media, unable to comprehend what they had just saw on tv or heard on the radio. Some have also jokingly begun to start tweeting with the #JakartaZombieAttack hashtag:

Yesterday, we released a statement about the Official Report on the Rind-Iller Epidemic, made by the Kalinin K-7 Bureau of Health and Medicine, which identified the epidemic-causing pathogen, its main symptoms, and its pathology. The Report also pointed out future courses of actions that should be taken by the residents of KDKK7 XVI to help prevent illness. The Kalinin K-7 Bureau of Health and Medicine has now released another, emergency report today, regarding the illness.

The Kalinin K-7 Bureau of Health and Medicine would like to announce that the Semi Autonomous Region of Rind-Iller Island is now under MANDATORY QUARANTINE, due to the explosive and destructive progression of the disease among all of the island's inhabitants. As a result, the Kalinin K-7 Armed Forces are now patrolling the island by sea and air, and no inhabitants of the island are allowed to exit the island.

The Kalinin K-7 Bureau of Health and Medicine would also like to establish a formal name for the disease the caused the Rind-Iller Epidemic, which will hereafter be called Rind-Illeritis, referring to the first recorded case of the disease.
