JORN JACOBSON: Thank you, John. Less than two hours ago, the VeridianFlights spaceliner landed on the runway and pulled onto the tarmac. 
The flight was allegedly not responding to requests to disembark the passengers. After a few minutes, security was sent in to check on 
the passengers  and crew. Now, exactly what happened when the security teams arrived is not known. That said, it is known that everyone in the 
spacecraft was infected by the B9-ZD virus. The infected individuals then attacked the security teams, prompting the evacuation of the entire airport.

The only way we know of to mitigate its effects is through consumption of human flesh, since it only affects human tissue as far as we know.

We can control the rate at which scopolamine is produced in the bodies of those affected. The rate slows in conditions of advanced necrosis, and introduction of human flesh into the diet induces immediate compliance, like that of an addict. Otherwise, they hunger. One side effect we observed was incredible pain and hunger in subjects as a result of cellular rupture. It doesn't seem to affect the nervous system at all."

Last night, a major riot occured near Marcoburg Hospital, Nya Aventyr. Several vigilante groups have arrived to stop the riot from getting worse with little effect. Witnesses have claimed that the rioters have tried to eat other people's flesh and that they also have some sort of skin disease.

Scientists are worried that a new disease could be spreading across Troperia which causes aggression and skin cancer. It is also speculated that the disease transmits through exchange of bodily fluids such as saliva or blood. They have abducted one of the rioters to study them. Results of the study will be published soon. Of course, the subject will be constrained to avoid them from getting anyone hurt or infected.

The general public is advised to stay cautious about the disease. Meanwhile, the government has distributed medicine, masks and ration packs in order to help citizens survive these dark times. People are also advised to stay indoors if they can and the government has closed several public buildings including schools and administrative buildings.

The riot from last night has claimed the lives of 14 people and injured 37 others. It is also reported that 6 other people are gone missing. The public is asked to give information about those missing individuals if they have it.

Latest News: BKSD Raises Threat Level

The sudden outbreaks of Kanibal Virus all over the world have caused the BKSD to raise the current national health threat to level 4, the highest level since the last Avian Flu Pandemic in 2002. In other words, the BKSD tried to warn the nation about the dangerousness of this deadly and mysterious virus that has spread all over the globe. The original source of this virus hasn't been known yet, but the BKSD officials believe that this virus is brought into Samudera Darussalam via airplanes coming from Brazilistan, as evidenced by the presence of 7 infected passengers that recently returned from Brazilistan on holiday trip.
Health officials in Singapore have reported that the condition of the infected passengers in the isolated room have gone worse. 3 of them appeared to be in coma, and the other 4 exhibited violent actions. The health officials stated that the virus was still being studied in the Singapore National Health Institute.
"This is a rare virus," Dr. Maryam Nugraha, the Director of BKSD stated. "They have a complex biological structure, and high probabilites for mutation. As far as we know, the Kanibal Virus is not one of any ordinary virus we have met in our everyday life. This one is deadly and highly infectious, and we have to treat them cautiously."
Further she added that the Kanibal Virus affected the human's nervous system greatly, causing the host to exhibit strange behaviors, such as moaning, wandering aimlessly, and addiction for human flesh. The other known symptoms are skin lession and bloodshot eyes.
The BKSD stated that the virus is spreading from one person to the other person via bodily fluids, particularly through blood.
"I advise the citizens of Samudera Darussalam to remain calm and prepared in this critical time," Dr. Maryam Nugraha said. "Become panic will do no good, both for yourselves and the others. Just stay calm and cautious. If you see people who looked very sick with random strange behavior, please contact the authorities immediately."
Reports of cases have been growing despite government's effort to contain the spreading of the virus. Since the first cases in Singapore, there have been 13 more cases reported in Jakarta and Kuching, respectively. The government began to implement various actions, including the mobilization of soldiers and police, and the restriction of movements between states and regions to minimalize the possibility of further infections. More and more medical teams are mobilized in the airports and harbors to check the spreading of infection via travellers. The government also considering to close the borders completely after reports of clashes between refugees, some of them are infected, and the border guards at Padang Piah border station in Northern Malaya who tried to prevent them from passing the borders. The clashes have resulted in 11 deaths and 20 more injured. The infected individuals who tried to enter the borders have been shot. Their bodies have been cremated to prevent further spreading of the virus.
Meanwhile, just a few hours ago, the navies have been deployed to guard the nation's borders at sea, particularly at Java Sea and Southern China Sea which are at risk of possible infiltration by refugees, particularly from the Philippines and Sunda Islands.
A no-flying zone has also been implemented in several areas with reports of cases, such as Singapore, Jakarta, and Kuching.
The federal government also advised the citizens to stay indoors and began to put curfews in some public places. The local governments in various states and provinces have also been ordered to distribute masks, medicines, and ration packs to help the citizens survived throughout the oncoming dark times.

Welcome back to the KDKK7 XVI Broadcast. This is Robert Yoger, and it is 4:05 PM on the 29th of October, 2016.
Two days ago, we previously released a report on a mysterious illness that has appeared on the only island of Kalinin K-7, known as Rind-Iller Island. This illness affected almost half of the island's population, and as a result, the Bureau of Health and Medicine in Kalinin K-7 declared a State of Emergency for the Semi-Autonomous Region of Rind-Iller Island. During this time, doctors and medical researchers quickly appeared on the scene and began investigating the illness.

On 3:00 PM today, the Bureau of Health and Medicine released an official report on the illness and a projected prognosis based on the current conditions of the illness on the island and the research conducted during the two day period:

Kalinin K-7 Bureau of Health and Medicine - Official Report on Rind-Iller Island Epidemic and Future Courses of Action:

On October 27th, 2016, an illness spread rapidly across the population of the Semi-Autonomous Region of Rind-Iller Island, presenting symptoms including Alien Hand Syndrome, chemosis, Cotard's Delusion, delirium, edema, facial pain, fever, nasal congestion that progresses to black discharge, necrobiosis lipoidica, sinusitis, stupor, thrombosis, and Todd's Syndrome. These symptoms vaguely pointed to a possible infection by Mucormycosis, and this was promptly investigated by medical researchers. This was confirmed, as those infected showed large numbers of the pathogen relative to those uninfected, though the pathogen, Mucor ellipsoideus, was found to be an undiscovered strain of the fungus. This fungus was found in increased numbers within the blood vessels of the brain and the skin, and was found to alter neuronal activity in the brains of the affected presumably causing the aforementioned symptoms. It was also found (normally) to cause fungal hyphae to grow in and around the blood vessels of those infected.

Though the diagnosis of the disease may have been simple, the epidemiologists of the Bureau how found that the disease is very likely to rapidly spread throughout the population. There has already been three reported cases among the doctors and medical researchers that have returned from Rind-Iller Island, and dozens more are presenting the beginning symptoms of the disease. There is a prediction that the disease will begin to exponentially spread throughout the population, and become noticeable by October 31st, 2016. Guinea pig testing is underway and all signs are looking good to a cure being prepared faster than we would have hoped. The Guinea pigs given the virus seem to be unaffected by this strain of Apexi virus, unlike others in the past. Only noticeable difference is their glucose levels drop rapidly, meaning they need to be fed more frequently. We will be researching this effect and treating the animals for this before we move onto the next phase of testing.

Guinea pig breach. I repeat, the animals are loose. Glucose Levels decreasing was first sign of infection for this strain of Apexi. By 4:30, Guinea pigs began acting in forms similar to that of rabies. Subjects began biting their cage-mates, including those who were not infected (Animals kept together to test signs of virus when in close proximity to both infected and non-infected subjects). By 6:30 non-infected bitten subjects began to experience signs of 'Zombism', common to human subjects of passed Apexi strains.

6:45 Guinea Pig Zombies escaped their cages. It was discovered that the infected subjects are not transitioning to the zombie phase of the virus. Instead they are simply biting and eating, but appear to continue to possess fine motor skills and intelligence. Repeat, subjects with the virus act normal, aside from extreme hunger. Those bitten by them will transition to the zombie phase after a two hour minimum incubation period. Zombie subjects will not bite other bitten subjects, only those who are free from the disease.
