Zombie Plague Cure proof of Spontaneous Generation?

Postby Old Zertaxia » Wed Oct 30, 2013 11:42 am

Yah, I don't post here very much and I'm not sure this is the correct spot, but I've noted something a bit different about the survivor/infected/dead tracking graphs in some regions, and I just want to make sure I'm not crazy. In some of the regions, mostly those that have the highest number of survivors with no infected, it appears that not only have all citizens in these regions survived, but there are also additional citizens now?

As I understand, the number of survivors provided at Hour Zero is the population of your nation/region at the time the plague started. For example, mine would have been 13.430 billion, my region's would have been ~181 billion. Now, in the Versutian Federation, for example, that number is 560 billion, give or take a couple million. The current number of survivors in the Versutian Federation is more than 800 billion.

Is it possible the Zombie Plague Cure (widely distributed in the Versutian Federation) is causing people to spontaneously appear? Or do these numbers mean something other than what I assume they mean? It seems rather large for population growth, though the Versutian Federation is home to 627 nations.

I dunno. It's got me a bit puzzled.

My region started with a population of 5.1B and we are currently sitting at just under 8 billion. So why is that? New member nations. We recruited three new nations during the outbreak.

Regions with high cure rates would also be recruiting new nations. So no, no spontaneous spawning of people. Just new nations inflating the Region populations.

Well, see now, that is something I didn't even think of.

But that does tend to make it rather a useless statistic, if you want to examine it over time. :(

Demacia also had this happen from 7.6 B to 21.999 B so new nations coming and going.
