Allied States of Azurlavai
With their militarized history and extreme resources, it was only a matter of time before Azurlavai went to extreme means to fight the infected. While orbital weapons were already in place, the use of nuclear weapons and specialized anti-zombie groups has only become a recent development. Only time will tell if they are effective.
ASGARD Orbital Weapons Platform
Developed before the zombie outbreak, the ASGARD was an enormous station built to always stay in orbit above the nation, with its ability to target any spot in the land. With a simple relocation, it can move over any site on the planet, and was originally supposed to be used as a weapon of deterrent, a clean alternative to nuclear arms. Instead of a missile, the station launches a long, thick tungsten kill-rod, which uses gravity to slam into the ground, transferring as much force as an atomic bomb...without the radiation. But today, it has become the Allies' last resort. So far, three major cities have been destroyed by the ASGARD, leveling every building and killing all occupants. Over a dozen smaller cities have also been put to the torch in this way as well.
Zombie Combat Operations Ministry (Z-COM)
After it was clear that conventional tactics would be rather...lacking against the infected (zombies, as the common term goes), Azurlavai commissioned a new organization and recruited from the best Special Forces and biologists and chemical weapon experts in the nation. With this, they have also been given the most advanced weaponry in the nation, from powered exosuits to VTOL dropships, technology that is at least a decade away from going anywhere near service with the regular military. Thanks to their methods and equipment, almost 100 million zombies have been destroyed in the States alone, with almost half as many in surrounding countries.
Atomic Warfare Joint Task Force
For some time now, Azurlavai has been working to decomission nuclear weaponry in favor of orbital weapons. Unfortunately, this meant that when the outbreak began, they had no strategic missiles left. Only tactical and a few experiments. But after the development site of Sierra Bravo was successfully defended by one of the prototypes, Allied High Command gave it a go, and have turned this once outcast group into a key part of Azurlavai's defense. With command over all Allied nuclear ordnance, Air Force General Lucas Samson deploys the limited weapons carefully. As well as missiles and bombs, he also has access to enormous artillery capable of driving to a battle site and launching nuclear shells over a mile away. With these weapons, two other major cities were successfully defended with few casualties.
