I'm not the first to notice this, but what is the mysterious "Superweapon status" thing that is on the zombie control page? This has me rather worried, as it's already at 18.1% for my nation.

My only guess is that those that embrace the zombies are going to be really dangerous to regionmates if the "Hordes" are able to be released to other nations.

The best defence is surface-to-brain missiles.

We're making quite a bit of progress with the tactical squads.We're switching back and forth between looking for a cure and purges. We need to keep the population of the undead minimal so we can focus on the cure rather than herding survivors from one shelter to another. Thus far are methods are proving successful. Most of the dead have been laid waste and most of the research for the cure is done.

I want with cure, After I think maybe an hour or a little over an hour? Mk 1 hit 100%
Though Cure Missiles Mk II (Peacebringer) has been taunting me, Showing 99.8% for almost the last two hours.... At least feels that long.
Thankfully the un-dead are not too high. Only 430 million out of 2.543 billion are infected.
So right now good chunk of my nation is still among the living.

As it turns out yes, if you switch from kill to cure, you get death squad and cure missiles.

i got the mk3 and i'm researching the mk4 but for some reason it's only curing 1 million no matter where i go, what am i supposed to do?

I got Mk V cauterizer curing missiles (after checking the page), if anyone wants some lobbed their way they can tg me and i can let em in my region if they meet criteria, I can't stay on for too long though.

It decreases as the amount of zombies decreases, supposedly due to them being more dispersed and thus not as concentrated to hit.
