The newly sentient undead actually do not die from complications. This is something we have be studying through medical companies and the government. Because in some nations, that technology is non-existent or not widely available. Nations with advanced technology in the medical field have already been testing flu strains along with other strains of disease that can mutate to different catalysts, and through such new medicine has been developed for futures ahead when the strains do mutate.

In the end, Consigahria suffered 1.76 billion casualties, a loss of less than 1% in population, and Domicilium suffered an 11% total loss. Meanwhile, Dilange still has 297 million zombies, 97.09% of their total population. Compassion was not the smartest route to take.
