A State of Emergency was declared shortly after the outbreak, however the Government's response was too slow [I was in bed asleep for the first 11 hours of the day]. In response; a short, successful military campaign was waged, stemming the zombie epidemic. Operation Hammerdown, Arcand's Self-Inflicted Nuclear Strategy, was carried out in three of the major towns in the Northern Provinces; whilst the 1st, 2nd and 4th Armoured Divisions were mobilised to help defend the Capital alongside the Grace Anwood Fencibles.

A cure has been developed and is currently being distributed; with 100 million being reverted back into a humanised state. This cure is currently being distributed to the Arcandian Territories and our Allies in the region.

Gunfire and the occassional blast of artillery in the distance punctuated the air. From within the Palace of the Republic, the president looked at the digital display, eyes showing more and more of his barely hidden fear as he watched the number of dead and infected rise. "We're too late." he turned to the aide behind him. "Declare a State of Emergency." with a nod, the aide spoke into the earpiece she had. "It is done." the president watched the chaos continue from within the safe confines of the Palace.

President Lee has ordered all civilians into bunkers. We are currently at DEFCON 0. So yes, we have a sate of emergency.

Currently, we are under a nation-wide state of martial law, in severe state of emergency, because we have almost the same number of infected and non-infected. Any international help would be nice, and DEFCON code is code black, the same tier for nuclear dangers.

IN a state of war,every citizens are issued weapons and military uniforms to combat the zombies if it breaches the green zone while the armed forces withdraws to the green zones and nuclear bombs has been used to exterminate the zombies.

The state of emergency has been called off as military forces begin their assaults on the last of the Zed. Ports and Airports remain indefinitely closed until announced otherwise, however.

Our nation is now going into DEFCON 2 as our region becomes infested with the vermin, and are preparing to mount an offensive on the Zed until a cure can be found; whatever the cost.
