Well, Cosby sweaters can be quite itchy...

I don't know. The removal of influence would be very interesting and arguing for its removal tends to go over well with the gameplay crowd. I think it'd make the larger regions much more dynamic, at least. But, I kind of doubt it'll be removed. Hopefully it'll be tweaked though.

Max is a euroskeptic, news post pertains solely to his involvement in RL politics and has nothing to do with NS.

He just got a little drunk and decided to tell everyone about his latest epiphany, but accidentally tabbed out while explaining how he would undermine the WA UN they that shall not be named using their own mechanisms.

And then him and [violet] plotted evilly in [violet]'s underground bunker just outside Canberra, where they crafted the ALP's implosion while eating rice crackers with vegemite on top and reading MLP fanfic.

Eeek.. but without Puppetmaster being legal again, Pre-Influence would have allowed Pixiedance or Great Bight to basically maintain power for as long as they liked. >_< (I know Ivan abandoned Pixiedance.. but he could have just kept going really. Nobody would have been able to stop him.)

I have a feeling this whole thread is a giant set-up, even though I have had a slight bit of participation in it. I still vote for an opt-out for the April Fools Day joke, just so the Powers That Be might find a way to implement that. As far as "no preplanned April Fools Jokes," well, there's a first time for everything.

But, to those who think the regions are going away, at least permanently, and, even temporarily, remember we've a decent amount of students who use NS for classroom activities. These nations, too, are often in their own private regions. Considering the furor over the haxxorz joke, I don't think they'd really cause another kerfuffle over the regions. I am curious to see how this Associations things might actually work. But, eh, my region is a private region that generally doesn't interact with NS as a whole since we keep to ourselves in our RP group. But, eh, could be interesting to see how it works nonetheless.

Aw, that would be horrible... It's already bad enough that we've got to wait a week.

The United Nations complaint turned out to be real, and the prank was its appearance on April 1. Who knows, whatever change they make could be as permanent as the UN-to-WA change or as silly as the Liberal/Conservative versions of NS.

Hypothesis: the March 21/22 crash discussed here is the fallout from a dry run of the intended changes.

Or it's one of the admins saying the TG stamps will be released and poking fun at the "zomg this will destroy UCRs" hype that's been going around....personally I hope it's the first thing.
