IC: "Thank you" he says, then he walks inside and takes off his coat. "What shall I do, my brother?" He asks, quizzically.

Kaufmann looks around the room for the new arrival's brother. "Where's your brother?"

Then 30 seconds later, after blinking occasionally in between times, he looks around to find a place to lie down.
