Are you meaning he uses Jar'Kai when wielding both saberstaffs and Makashi when just one blade is ignited?

I'm not certain Makashi can be optimized for a single saber staff, let alone two.

I envision his saberstaffs as something like we saw in Fallen Order, a saberstaff that could be split into two individual lightsabers and then reconnected. He would rarely use just one blade but, I thought it was worth mentioning.

Oh I see yes.

Well I don't have an issue with that.

How would folks feel about a Discord?

There's not many of us yet so may not be as efficient as just an OOC thread but happy to hear your thoughts

I feel like it'd help a bit with rapidly pinging back and forth ideas.

Probably would also help us iron out kinks in applications far faster, help people actually make their applications, so on so forth.

I’m interested in attempting to make an app, but I’ve got a quick question. What would constitute as a force user? Would a latent force sensitive count as a force user? Or is it along the lines of being trained in the usage of the force?

Yes but I would caution that you should be careful with that latency.

Individuals without training in the force, with only very small exceptions, wield it in any meaningful sense.

Im interested in this. Ive been on NS many times before as many different nations and I always look for Star Wars roleplays when I log on. One question I have is the state of Zakuul as a planet during this time. I know in SWTOR they were powerful and collapsed. Are they still a functioning society? I have an idea for a Zakuulan-born Jedi. Thanks.
Nation based off of Wehlen from Torpor Games' "Suzerain". This country is purely based off of the one from said game. I in no way support the policies of said nation IRL.

Slightly left wing economically, slightly more conservative politically (Left-wing conservative? Longist? Blue dog democrat? IDK) from the state of Louisiana

Anti: Jeff Landry, pure command economy, outright banning guns, pure capitalism, globalism, big military budget, despotism

...well that's certainly a different direction to go on things. Zakuul never really plays a part after those events in really...any media at all so I have no idea. Could be a slowly declining sort of region whose eventual collapse was accelerated by the New Sith Wars? With the lack of hyperlanes to the galactic west I can't imagine a lot of trade or aid could easily flow there, limited their ability to economically and socially recover. Besides that, semi-feudalism practically dominated the galaxy (outside of the Core worlds) before the Ruusan Reformations, so maybe a similar situation there?

Hmmm. Yeah it seems a little difficult to navigate around that now that I think about it lol. Maybe I will think of an alien from some other planet then. Im really liking an albino Shistavanen Jedi or bounty hunter. They look cool.

For Non-Force Users
Name: Ingade Turrnadare
Appearence: A Standard Southern Mustafarian with a standard southern mustafarian heat suit with added modifications from multiple different scavenged armor types.
Species: Southern Mustafarian
Gender: M
Age: 48
Sexuality: Aro/Ace
Allegiance: paid to the highest bidder currently: Hutts
Title/Occupation: (If Any) Bounty Hunter
Skills/Powers: Heat Resistance, "expert" trap maker and
Weaponry: Heavy rotary blaster and Modified holdout blaster
Ship: (If Any) Modified Sheathipede-class transport shuttle
Personality and Traits: Anger Issues, "Great" Sense of humor, too ballsy for his own good, he only takes killing contracts specializing in stealth and discreetness making him wait for his prey.
Biography: Originally working on the hot lands of Mustafar from a young age and due to this he grew accustomed to the hard labor of Mustafar, but was weary of visitors as they were far and few but one visitor had always peaked his interest for they was a bounty hunter. they was not like the other visitors who thought of Southern Mustafarians as dumb working brutes.
They thought of them as equals and so due to this he finally worked up the nerve to ask them to teach them how to pilot for he had always dreamed of seeing the stars but that idea was shot down for "The world is horrible and you should not see that." and so after this short conversation the bounty hunter left but Ingade did not accept the answer that they gave so they honed their skills so that when the bounty hunter comes back they can show them that they are ready and so they honed and waited and waited and waited, and they never came back. Whether it was out of spite or just out of plain selfishness they decided that they would take this into their own hands so when a Neimoidian came in a ship piloted by a droid he took his chance and stole this ship ( this will be important later ) and convinced the droid that the Neimoidian was dead and the ship was entrusted to them so when he got into the ship he did not know what to do due to his miniscule knowledge about the galexy and so he just chose the last visited planet which was Tatooine this here was near the start of his bounty hunting career. Once he landed on Tatooine he was near instantly arrested due to the ship being stolen and because of this it was given back to its rightful owner and he could no longer leave he then served a 4 years in prison and was eventually let out. He started his life as a bartender but this did not work out due to the annoying drunken people and his anger issues so he was fired and just as he was running out of funds he met a strange man who stated that he could get him a job as a bounty hunter and because he had nothing to do for money or anything else he decided to go with the offer. He then joined the bounty hunting guild and this is where we are today 10 years after he joined the guild.
Theme: Coalescence Song by Chris Christodoulou
Notes: I am still kind of newish so if you need any changes or have any advice feel free to ask/tell

Either of those could work.

By the way, Jedi, I'm still going at it for the Grand Master app I swear. Please don't hurt me.

Honestly an issue I could potentially see is finding a way to get interaction in with the game, but I'll go down the list and see what I can maybe wonder, what questions you can ask yourself to get more stuff added to the app, etc since it's frankly sorta sparse.

  • Appearance section is alright since a that portion of Mustafarians, their appearance, is generally not known/expanded upon and shouldn't matter too much.
  • Skills/Powers. They really could do with some expansion. I'd ask how he normally operates in getting a bounty since there's a number of ways you can do things. He might take people dead, which enables him to use the "Guns blazing" method, explosives, sniper rifles/bolts, etc. He might take them alive, which entails something like traps, gas, some form of wrestling, who knows. I'd try to link that up with history, how he learned to become a bounty hunter and the like, his personality, and his equipment.
  • Weaponry/Equipment. I recommend not naming weapons by specific models since it's 900 BBY; the weapons you're naming, the Z-6 and Blurrg-1120, don't yet exist. They haven't been invented yet. I would recommend saying more "Heavy rotary blaster cannon, holdout blaster" since the model won't really add all that much. If you want, you can always make up a model on your own, adding something like a company (Czerka was and will always be in existence, bless their little hearts, as well as BlasTech) so you can refer to your weapons in a more organic sense (such as "He drew his M-91" instead of always saying "He drew his pistol").
  • Ship. An Ugly is probably not the best thing, especially if he's been Bounty Hunting for a while. An old-as-sin transport, fighter, etc could better suit his needs as well as be less noticeable to authorities/your bounty. The ship he left Mustafar with doesn't have to be the one he's kept, after all, though if he still has it due to sentimental value that could always be a nice touch.
  • Personality/Traits. I'd recommend asking yourself how he actually operates as a bounty hunter and try to incorporate that into this section. What sorts of contracts does he take (There's a big difference from "Delete this person from existence" and "Recover this smuggler alive who stole from me") and how does he accomplish them? Does he identify himself to law enforcement/officials when asked? Does he work with others well or even at all? These questions can help form a basis of how precisely your guy goes about life.
  • Biography. Whole bio is a run-on sentence so I recommend chopping that up into smaller ones. It covers the whole life but very much in a flash-in-the-pan sorta way. Ask yourself how his group/clan/coworkers/family (whichever matters most to him) reacted to the idea of the character going out into the world, or even if he told them (Him doing it as a secretive thing, out of some sort of fear/concern, could be a good way to flesh things out). Did he even know how to fly a ship (or even, really, could his ship fly) and did that require several attempts? Him just landing on a world without knowing procedures is neat, though I can't see him doing 2 years for "Illegally landing". Maybe it could be tied in to his anger issues? A confrontation at a space port by a lack of payment for landing space could work, leading to an assault, could work (as well as, probably, the ship itself violating several safety regulations) to get him 2 years. How were those two years, for a Southern Mustafarian? Was he left largely alone or did he join a gang, slowly getting roped into Hutt Cartel life? Likewise, there had to have been a long period afterwards, while he was a bounty hunter (The character is, after all, 48 years old). How notable was he at the job? Did he accomplish his contracts with public notice (Going in guns blazing may attract attention) or did he do it stealthily? Did he ever fail contracts and, if so, what repercussions did that have? For that matter, did he ever join the Bounty Hunters Guild? All of this could serve to better flesh the character out and get a feeling for how capable, professional, honest, so on the character is.
  • RP Example. I recommend linking to a specific post you wrote in the RP, using the [url= ] tool or by simply copy-pasting the URL after RP Example: . To get the URL link for a specific post, by the post's portion where it says "by Regnum Alea Spaceflee » Date Time", to the left, there's a small image of a file. Right click on that, click "Copy Link Address".
  • Theme. This is just a theme song for the character, something that embodies them. It's not required but nice to listen to while you write or while we read your posts.
Hopefully this helps you with your character. Bear in mind that I'm not a moderator, that all of this is just suggestion, but still I think it would help.

For Non-Force Users
Name: Rayne, aka "Red Death"

Appearance: Rayne is almost never seen without his armor. Allowing him to breathe in almost any atmosphere, he only takes it off to sleep in his ship or hideouts. Wanting to hide his face in case of emergency, the visor is tinted so that only a faint impression of his eyes is seen. His distinct red armor is draped with a tan and brown cape for elegance and class. He is believed to be near human due to how his eyes are seemingly almost entirely white, leading many to believe he is either Echani or of Echani descent. Those lucky enough to see the man beneath the armor described him as a pale man, having ghostly white skin with white hair and white eyes.

Species: Near-Human (possible Echani)

Gender: Male

Age: 29

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Allegiance Paid to: Whoever offers him a contract

Title/Occupation: (If Any) Hitman for hire, bounty hunter, treasure hunter

Skills/Powers: Master of Echani martial arts, skilled in swordplay, deadly with blaster rifles but less so with pistols, excellent sniper, very good pilot. His suit is equipped with respirators, scanners, grenades, and a dagger-sized vibroblade built into his right gauntlet, although it is seldom used and is almost inoperable.

Weaponry: Tac-HUD heavy sniper rifle, Z-13 Huntsman blaster rifle, twin vibroswords, M-300 Elite Stealth Interceptor, 12 thermal detonators on his belt, and a tranquilizer dart

Ship: Red Mistress, his Buzzard-class starfighter

Personality and Traits: Cold, calculated, and ruthless are the three words that the bounty hunter known as Rayne would describe himself as. Rayne is known to be a shrewd fighter but a decent strategist at best. He prefers a "shoot to kill" approach to jobs and likes to pick off targets from afar for a quick and easy job, which has led to him being passed up for more experienced and less ruthless hunters on jobs where the target is worth more alive. Rayne believes himself to be superior than the competition and wouldn't hesitate to do whatever he can for the most credits, glory, and fame, even if it means turning his cloak against his employer. He considers himself unreliable because of this major character flaw and it is well known throughout the crime world that he is untrustworthy. Some honorable hunters consider him a coward, a sentiment that has carried from crime boss to crime boss and isn't untrue. He will flee a fight to lick his wounds and recover rather than risk death. The Hunter in Red does what he can to survive.

Biography: Rayne prefers to keep his origin a secret. However, most crime bosses know the true story. Born nearly 3 decades ago in the poorest sector on one of the most slimy planets in the galaxy, Nar Shaddaa, Rayne was the only son of a retired bodyguard and a former cantina waitress. His father, sharing his physical features, was a masterful warrior who trained his son from birth to be a noble protector just as he was. However, when Rayne was 15, things took a turn for the worst when Rayne's apartments were the site of a gang war between two petty crews of thugs. The once peaceful building was turned into a lawless stronghold run by the budding White Wampas, a swoop gang with a tendency to deal arms, explosives, and contraband to anyone who would pay. The leader of said crew, a forgotten swoop racer with roots going back to the days of Taris, went from door to door demanding tribute in return for protection and cleaning out entire households. His father nobly tried to rally some residents to fight back, but the swoop racer sent his lapdogs onto the insurgents. With one swift command, Rayne's mother and father were killed and Rayne himself was in line to be murdered when the gang was ambushed by the forces of a Hutt crime boss. Rescued, Rayne used his masterful Echani training to enter into the service of the gastropod mobster. Serving as the Hutt's chief protector for 5 years and scarred by the death of his family, the orphan set out at the age of 20 to pursue the only thing that would make him happy. Credits. Using the vast amounts of money made from protecting an oversized slug, Rayne bought his signature red armor and his vast, albeit outdated, arsenal of weapons from the black market. Starting out as an honest and honorable mercenary, Rayne was constantly beaten by more experienced and calculated hunters for the jobs and targets. Deciding to become a hardened killer, Rayne spent many of his resources and much of his time sending out fake targets to rival hunters in order for them to end up in the same place: his old apartment building on Nar Shaddaa. The place where his innocence died would be the place he went from green to a bloodthirsty hitman. Luring 5 rival hunters to the place he once called home, Rayne rigged the room with thermal detonators and leveled the entire top floor of the building. Nothing was left of his competition but ashes. Taking the name "the Red Death", the warrior did everything in his power to build his reputation as a merciless killer for hire. He succeeded. Hungry for power, Rayne seeks out any remnants of the SIth or the Empire to try and form a great alliance.

Damien Branwell, Lord of Understone Keep

Tourney of the Hand, King's Landing

Damien felt a thud as the Red Viper's lance caved in his breastplate. The impact sent Damien flying off his horse! He removed his helm and ran his fingers over his caved in armor. "Now I know how Rhaegar felt," thought Damien as he smiled at Oberyn, who was enjoying his win. Martell's squire helped up Damien. Branwell smiled and nodded at him as he and his squire retrieved the Lord's Horse. As they walked back to their tent, Damien started undoing his armor, chest first. Ouch. Branwell's armor had left a small wound in his chest. "I need a bandage." The squire nodded at the command and used Branwell's dagger to cut a piece of cloth and wrap it around the Westerman. "Thank you, my boy." Lord Branwell dismissed the squire as he poured himself a goblet of wine. Not Arbor red, but it'd do. Not that Damien had tasted Arbor red, anyway.

The next bout was up. Damien didn't bother paying attention. He lost. He was worried about sweet, little Tyb. He'd usually have gotten a reply. The boy always wrote to his father. Branwell joked to himself, "Maybe they ran out of ravens," and let out a small laugh. He still scanned for his liege lord Tywin. Damien didn't even know if the Marbrands, his overseers, bothered to come to the capital. "I need a walk. I probably won't be let in the Red Keep. Maybe the Gardens." Branwell took the rest of the wine and poured it into his cup. He walked down the street and passed by the blacksmith. "Nice helm," said Damien as he walked by a black haired boy who was working on a bull's helmet. He neared the tavern he was staying at. As he walked into his room, he took one of his ravens he kept in his cage. He took out parchment and ink, intending to write to Tybalt, over in Lannisport, to see if he was well. Branwell finished the letter, signed it, and sealed it with wax and his seal. He sent it out towards the Westerlands.

Tybalt Branwell, Heir to Understone Keep

The Gold Road, Near Ashemark, The Westerlands

Tyb tossed and turned. He couldn't sleep. What if the Lannisters were coming? What if Tywin got a hold of Father? Tybalt asked himself these questions over and over. He quickly got up and walked outside. "Men, get up. We must get going. We'll get home sooner! You never know when the Lannisport men will be coming!" The men reluctantly got up, got dressed, and packed up. It was still late afternoon. As they started back on the road, they saw the Branwell lion on the shield of a small party of men. A patrol.

Notes: If my writing is poor I apologize. I haven't done this in a while. I might not be the most active user. I work late hours some days and have courses and spend time with my girlfriend the next. I will try to be as active as possible. Discord is most likely a no-go for me. My internet is barely fast enough to connect to NS and I doubt I'd be comfortable enough to use Discord anyways. Hope I did well enough to be accepted. Cheers, guys. EDIT: I can do discord probably on my browser since I mainly use a Chromebook now. Its too old to download anything so if y'all make one then I'll see about joining it lol.

Nation based off of Wehlen from Torpor Games' "Suzerain". This country is purely based off of the one from said game. I in no way support the policies of said nation IRL.

Formerly the nation of Kulonia (RIP)
Slightly left wing economically, slightly more conservative politically (Left-wing conservative? Longist? Blue dog democrat? IDK) from the state of Louisiana
Pro: Huey Long/Longism, nationalism, wealth redistribution of the 1%, welfare, immigration, 2A
Anti: Jeff Landry, pure command economy, outright banning guns, pure capitalism, globalism, big military budget, despotism
