I second putting it all in one thread. If your lore has gotten rather extensive just make sure to reserve several posts at the start of the thread for your uses. The character limit for NS posts is 60,000 characters, so that might influence how many posts you'd need to reserve.

I'm gonna mess with the train layout a bit more. There's a few things that need to be fixed. But the main project I've been working on these past few days has been the NPC Dramatis Personae, particularly the First Class passengers. If you look at the train layout, you'll see that there are twenty-five First Class carriages (cars 0031 to 0055). First Class is made up of twenty-five separate families of passengers (excluding the Turnbull family). Most of them were ultra-wealthy millionaires/billionaires who invested in the train's construction just prior to the Freeze. Each First Class family has their own luxury double-decker carriage on Winterstar, hence the twenty-five carriages.

Here's the list of named NPCs we'll be starting with. When the RP begins, each passenger will have a small description/blurb outlining their background in addition to their age and citizenship prior to Departure. For now, I've just listed the ages and citizenships for y'all to check out until I'm finished.

Putting this character list together was fun. All three classes (four, if you include the Tail) will be full of colorful personalities. Some general lore points about world of the RP will also be found scattered throughout the character descriptions. For instance, the last President of the United States and his family are among the passengers of First Class. President Gavin Barnes was a billionaire tech tycoon before entering the realm of politics. Elected into office on a populist platform with the financial backing of Edwin Turnbull, Barnes used the subsequent climate crisis to transform America into a kleptocratic dictatorship. When the Freeze hit, the last first family retreated to Winterstar, abandoning the country they'd sworn to serve.

Hell yeah. I've been sort of casually worldbuilding and expanding on the setting here, especially on the creation of Turnbull's intercontinental railroad. I think part 2 of the History of Turnbull Industries will cover everything from the birth of Edwin Turnbull in 1957 to the official establishment of the Turnbull Intercontinental Railroad in 2020. There's too much stuff about the Great Climate Crisis and subsequent creation of the Winterstar train to fit into part 2. That stuff will be put in a part 3.

For the Family character group, obviously, Edwin and Margaret Turnbull. For the Special Operations character group, Gabriel "Gabe" Hanna. The previous snippets for all 3 characters have been brief, but these will be far more detailed.

Almost finished with the full history of Turnbull Industries. I've had somewhat of a busy schedule lately, as I recently got a new job - with a railroad company, if you can believe it. But I finally have some breathing room and personal time to dive right back into my nerdy side and do more worldbuilding.

Alright guys, I am setting up a launch date! The official OOC thread for this roleplay will be posted on April 1, 2023! And it's not an April Fools joke.

Titled Breaking the Ice, the RP will include both the Family and the Special Operations options. Extensive lore will be included, consisting of a detailed three-part History of Turnbull Industries (covering everything from the company's establishment in the 19th century to the starting date of the RP in 2046), a breakdown of Winterstar's many cars (essentially the same shit that's already been posted in this thread, but with description blurbs accompanying each bullet point), and a big Dramatis Personae with blurbs for each prominent passenger that the player cast should be familiar with at the start.

I will be posting two sample apps of my own - a Family app (for Margaret Turnbull, Edwin's wife and matriarch of the Turnbull family) and a Special Operations app (for Lieutenant Gabriel "Gabe" Hanna, leader of the train's Special Operations detective unit). I won't be posting an app for Edwin Turnbull himself, since Part II of the History of Turnbull Industries focusses almost exclusively on his life and career.
