He would be dissecting carcasses (dead humans and animals) trying to find computer chips or some other advanced technology to prove that they're fake. I could see him spending most of his free time doing this.

Actually, you said Love, for you, is larger than the usual romantic love. It’s like a religion. It’s terrifying. No one will ever want to sleep with you.
Okay, if you’re so great, you do it— here’s the pencil, make it work . . .
Build me a city and call it Jerusalem. Build me another and call it Jerusalem.
We have come back from Jerusalem where we found not what we sought, so do it over, give me another version.
The entire history of human desire takes about seventy minutes to tell.
Unfortunately, we don’t have that kind of time.

Classic least psychopathic New Civs participant.
Though there is value there - anatomy is a first step toward surgery, which can be invaluable for a society.

Author Application
Name: Felix Wright
Age: 19
Height and Weight: 5'10", 125 lbs
Physical Description: Felix is sort of skinny (you can see his ribs, but not to the extent that it would cause concern for his health). He's blond with blue eyes. He has a bit of muscle, but not a lot because he's too lazy.
( Optional ) Picture:
gonna say he looks something like this: this (but blond)
Prior Profession: Student (scholar, if you want to be pretentious)
Level of Education - Formal or Informal: full High School education, partial college education (little of it in science-y things)
Physique: Some muscle, mostly skinny
Useful Skills: Pretty good at writing, and making up stories in general. He also has an interest in history (mostly 19th and 20th-century European history, don't worry). He's not bad at math or science, but it's never been something he's liked a lot. He was also a Boy Scout, so he's got some decent outdoors-skills from that.
He also has some fighting/physical defense skills from a few years of martial arts classes when he was little and years of watching movies with sword fighting in them.
National Origin: American
What were you doing prior to falling asleep and awakening in the past?: Reading some book
Description of Personality: Felix is pretty easy-going and jovial. He tries to stay humble and roll with life's punches. He also tries to be kind to others (he believes being kind is both the right thing to do and the smart thing to do).
Where in the world are you landing?: Somewhere in the mainland Imperium of Man (that'll, obviously, need to be discussed with G-Tech)
Autobiography/Biography: Felix Wright's lived a pretty easy life. I mean, come on. 21st-century America, it doesn't get super hard. But Felix, man, Felix has it made. I don't think he's ever gone hungry. He's never been cold, and his parents always had time for him and his siblings.
Something's about to hit him like a runaway train (oooh, foreshadowing).
Writing Sample: I have a couple on this page: this page
What are your intentions for this RP; what do you think your Author will seek to accomplish?: I was thinking about having Felix join the Imperial army (using a famous name as a pseudonym as an easy way of saying "help! I'm from the future!"). It seems like an option I'd take if I needed a way to stay on my feet and learn about a new world I've found myself in. Maybe he'll write a book (books?) on the side.
Maybe, at some point, he can do some traveling and see the rest of the Mediterranean area.
What people or places are you taking inspiration from?: For Felix, mostly myself (hopefully he's more "chill" than I am).
Why did you chose to land where you did?: The Imperium seems like a good place to not die and get Felix on his feet. Also, it would seem the best place to start out from if I ever want him to travel the world.
What vibe should we get from your civilization and its culture, if you seek to establish one?: If he did start one (unlikely), it'd probably be modern America/republican Rome in style.
What are your character's motivations?: He's just trying to make the world a better place and be nice to people, maybe make them laugh.
Theme Song?: "Adventure Is Out There" by AJR
What do you wanna see in this RP? What would make it better?: Personally, I think it's pretty good the way it is.
note: I know the Imperium is G-Tech's baby, so I want to be clear that I won't do anything big or weird or anything of that nature without consulting him first.

I'm thinking my next major story arc is Roii's territorial expansion into northwest Italy, but I don't want to cram too many events into 2260.

Totally fine by me. I mainly police timeframes when we're talking about five+ years out of sync with the masses, not a month or six on either side.
