Biography: (Minimum 2-3 paragraphs)

Madeline was born to Joseph Hylan, the son of former mayor of NYC John Francis Hylan, and Mary Hylan in New York City in the year 1942. Her father was fighting in the European theater of WW2 at the time and did not meet his daughter until the war's end. Returning from WW2 her father was elected to a judgeship in Connecticut where the Hylan family relocated after the mayoral term of John Francis had ended.

From a young age she was interested in politics and joined many members of her family who were involved in Democratic politics or organizing for Democratic candidates. She learned the value of social networking and building connections from these early years, and her family’s connection garnered her an invitation to LBJ’s inaugural in 1964, alongside her new husband Randal Wade.

After graduating from a prestigious private high school in 1960, she went to college at Eureka in Illinois where she received a BA in Political Science and interned with the Democratic Senator from Illinois at the time. After graduation she returned to Connecticut and worked with the DNC in the state, eventually being elected a member of the DNC from CT in 1978, and party chair of CT in 1980 which she served until 1984.

In 1986 She ran for an open seat of Connecticut’s 3rd Congressional District. Through her time in Congress she would serve on the Appropriations committees as well as Ways and Means, working closely with leadership and was a good soldier. Her connections enabled her to rake in large amounts of cash even this early in her career, and she began contributing record amounts to other Congressional campaigns. In ‘94 she became the leader of the house Democratic Caucus, and in 1995 the ranking member of Ways & Means.

As the new millennium dawned, it gave way to new leadership in the Democratic Party. Amid a shuffle, Madeline gave up leadership of the caucus and became the Minority Whip for the Democrats. She would continue raking in large amounts of money for the Party which would assist in the carrot & stick diplomacy with members.

She made a mark during the Not-Bush administration, being a frequent talking head on behalf of the party and continuing to rally opposition to the GOP in Congress. She briefly entertained the thought of running for President in 08 but found she was happy in her role and would be next up for the Speakership which she ascended to in 2007. She assisted in pushing through Not-Obama’s agenda between ‘09-’11 as the party whip and solidified her own position as the heir apparent to the Democratic House Leadership following the shellacking in 2010. She was easily elected as the House minority leader in 2011 and committed herself to holding together an increasingly raucous caucus against the GOP majority.

She rose to the Speakership in 2019, following the Democrats return to the Majority in Congress. At her advanced age in 2021 she indicated she would be seeking re-election in 2022 to serve one final term, but would be relinquishing the leadership of the party in Congress, only intending to stay in office between 2022 and 2024 to assist the new speaker.

Biography: (Minimum 2-3 paragraphs)

Known to himself and loyal party members as the "Zemmour of America" - mostly for his anti-immigration and opposition to multiculturalism - similar to that of France's Zemmour, Dominic Peterson was born in the poorer parts of Fort Worth in the Southern State of Texas. His father had moved to the city just a few year before his birth, mostly due to his unsuccessful restaurant in Houston getting shut down, Jacob had to move to the smaller city to work as chef for a small diner. His mother, just a few years younger than Jacob, had been born in Canada and moved to New York during the 1930's, eventually shifting to Houston during the very early 40's. It took only 10 months for the two of them until Dominic was born. Although his family wasn't really religious, his dramatic shift in religion will come later on. His father was a conservative democrat, his mother a Liberal Democrat. He was an only child.

Dominic would go to the local middle school, and would show little sign of any far-right views. At his time during middle-school, he would become fairly talented at Basketball, becoming a star-player for the middle-school basketball team. However, it was during high-school when he developed his more controversial views. It was at the age of 15 when Dominic found a leaflet on the ground nearby his high-school, for it was the timings for a protest about rising immigrant levels in the area, headed by a local group of the far0right. Unknown to what he thought, it would the prime catalyst for the start of a dark path. Going to the event, naive about what it was about, he would enjoy the rally, shooting slogans he had no clue about. He would be invited to go to a party meeting in the next few days, as-well as handed a more detailed leaflet about party policies.

Seemingly too busy for school, he would see his grades drop, too busy going to rallies with this minor extremist group. It was during his time with the group, as ir wasn't an official party, that he would acquire his more radical views, such as the Great Replacement Theory, into his views. Taking little interest into Basketball, he would finish high-school, although would not plan to go to college, settling for his diploma. He would quickly leave the group, sighting a more ambitious path to a political career. It was during this time when he would work at the local diner as a waiter, trying to keep ends meat while still living with his dad. However, it was just a 7 months into his job when he would find the leaflet of the American Independence Party, of which this was during the 1968 election. Taking it as a chance from God, he would quickly join in their rallies, becoming a member just a few weeks from the election. Although he would not go for any congressional seats or to be governor, at just 20, he would become a member of the Atlanta City Council.

Between 1968 - 1977, his term as party of the Atlanta City Council, his ideology would push more further to the right, introducing the theory of the Great Replacement. It was during his time in the council that he wrote several books and novels, as-well as becoming a more senior member in the party. He'd become a leading figure for protests and rallies in 1972, which included counter-protests and anti-war protests. It was 1974 where he put as Vice-President of the AIP, and was in charge of establishing a manifesto every 4 years to an election. During his period of book writing, his most infamous one was called "50 Stares" - an 90-page political manuscript about the far-right in America and what he called "The Inevitable Decline of America under the breath of the Foreign Parasite". He would also take a part-time job between 1969 - 1971 as an independent journalist.

It was 1977 when Dominic split off, when the part split into two. Sighting a chance to become leader, he would assume party leader of the new AIP in 1977, immediately shifting the party more to the right in his 1978 "Modern American Party" Manifesto. It was during his first few years as party leader where he would shape the party, embracing a far-right social policy, while establishing a more liberation economic policy, promising free-trade, limited government - going off most of not-William F. Buckley's views.

To pay for his bills and to get ends meat, Dominic would establish the "Church of God" in his home-town of Fort Worth in 1978. Funded by many evangelical Christians, as-well as opening up a radio show in 1979, gaining a fair bit of wealth to the start. It was in the 1980 election, where he would place 15 candidates up for election, 10 of them going for congressional districts, 4 of them for Governor, although he would put himself up for Mayor of Ozark. Attempting to battle with not-Reagan, it only saw 1 candidate for the congressional district beat not-Carter, although well behind not-Reagan. The only real victory was himself, when Dominic won to be Mayor of Ozark, battling against the republican candidate for every single vote, scrapping through with a 50.4% victory. Lasting 8 years as Mayor, Mr Peterson would make large initial cuts, instead focusing on local education. During the first 4 years, their was an increase to the cities literacy rate, as-well as those going to college. However, his cuts left public transport in ruins, and in 1983, would assume the role of Head of Ozark's Public Transport. His strong funding for education, mixed with continued republican voting below state level, Dominic would win the 1984 Election for Ozark, beating both the democrat and republican candidate.

It was also during this time that he put forward 8 officials for 8 seats, going with 2 of them for Governor of Texas and Governor of Alabama, both unsuccessful. 6 officials, including himself, went for a mixture of mayoral and congressional roles, with only himself winning in Ozark. His second term would be masked with several scandals, which included his popular church in his home-town. It was in 1986 when a scandal found the church guilty of financial embezzlement and financial corruption, although Dominic had sold the church in 1984 to focus on the election, it would damage his local reputation, leading to his loss in 88'.

It was during that time when he would open up two new evangelical churches, one once more in his home-town and another to where he lay his job, a councillor at Branson. Although he found the job boring and unrewarding, it paid enough, in which combined with his income from the two churches, would make him fairly wealthy. In 1995, he would quit his job, sighting it was very boring, wanting to focus on the 1996 election instead. Understanding the lack of success during the last few elections, Dominic decided to focus enterally on two states, Alabama and Texas. Seeing them as the two they have a chance to win, and to follow in the path of Wallace, he would run for Governor of Texas in 1996. Despite his unsuccessful bid, he managed to get enough votes to be at least close enough to the democratic candidate. Running as an independent, he would win just under 100,000 in Texas, clashing with not-Perot. His votes in Alabama was not even near, only gaining a little more than 15,000 votes.

With his only source of income being that of the churches, he'd focus solely on winning the "Deep South". With no real third party, expect for the Libertarian Party, he would establish 25 candidates for 2000, going as an independent for the Governor of most of the Deep South. His party managed to gain 900,000 votes overall, with Alabama being of their heaven, gaining over 250,000 votes. Although he didn't win, Dominic has frequently called 2000 a "great success". Going off the momentum from 2000, he would establish several "American Bases" in the Deep South for 2002 and 2004, which were church-like buildings of which were tasked for open meetings. Despite a significant increase in membership, hitting 150,000 members. In 2002, they won 4 congressional seats, winning two in the Alabama House of Representatives, 1 in the Texas House of Representatives and 1 more in Georgia. Deemed a success, this was deemed as the golden era for party. 2004 saw a drop-off in votes, only gaining 700,000 votes, and only remaining to 2 members of State House of Representatives. 04' was the last time, until 2022, when he is going for Governor of Texas. It saw only a few thousand votes come his way.

Sighting a decline in the parties voter base, as-well as the decline of his churches, he'd sell both of his churches and buy a ranch in Alabama. Sighting the party could be successful in Alabama, he'd close his "Open Meeting Bases" outside Alabama, using the funds to attempt a mass recruitment for the party for 2008. Seeing a real chance of victory in 2008, he would go for one of the Congressional Districts, coming in second behind the Republican Candidate. Despite this, and despite the parties sole focus on Alabama, the party managed to go toe for toe in terms of votes in Alabama with the Democrat party, although only grabbed 350,000 votes, coming in-front of the Libertarian Party.

2012 was much the similar, with Dominic focusing on Alabama and Georgia. For the first time since the late 90's, the AIP managed to gain 3 congressmen for Alabama's State Congress. Georgia saw the AIP manage to come in third place, behind the democrat candidate. Despite the parties plans to win congressional seats in Alabama and Georgia. 2012 saw a share of just 100,000 votes. With membership declining and the party becoming less and less relevant to Southern voters, Dominic took the gamble to endorse not-Trump in the 2016 election. At one point, Dominic met not-Trump during a donor's meeting, discussing various policies. This endorsement allowed a fresh sense of relevancy to the party, who saw spikes of membership increases during the election. It was during the 2016 Presidential election that he would put himself forward as an independent for President of the United States, with the party still not recognised as a "third-party" - to the same degree as the Libertarian Party. During this, he would win just under 300,000 votes, almost all coming from the Deep South.

2020 saw the parties relevance, having shrieked within not-Trump's first and only term, become infamous. With January 6th Infamous event, Dominic would be in support of Trump in denying Trump's defeat, and forced several of the AIP's members to join the Capital Riot. After it was found out some of his members had been involved in the Capital Hill Riot, the FBI began an investigation into both involvement with the insurrection and financial corruption and embezzlement. Taking a time of 5 months, the FBI found no evidence suggesting they had any involvement.

Now to 2022, just a few months until the mid-terms, and the AIP is looking on to keep some relevancy in the Deep South. Dominic is set to go as an independent for the Governor of Alabama, trying to replicate by Wallace did in 1968. With membership recovering from the 2010's decline, Dominic has set his sights on remaining with his views (for now)

Current Views: Free market, Limited Government, Abdication of multiculturalism, embracing the ideology of Christianity, Opposes Same-Sex Marriage, Opposes same-sex adoption, opposes the recognition of transgenderism, isolationist, Anti-Communist, Anti-Establishment, Pro-Fossil Fuels, Anti-Climate Change.

Character Application and Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Meretica
Character Name: Cassandra Hepburn-Smith
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 79 (nearing 80)
Character Date of Birth: November 2, 1942
Character Current Office: Operator of Cassie's Bakery in Richmond, VA; bakes her own goodies, with 80% of the proceeds going to various charities
Character Past Office(s): Senator from Virginia (2003-2009), VA Secretary of State (1998-2002)
Character Place of Birth: Roanoke, VA
Character State of Residence: Richmond, VA
Character Party Affiliation: Independent (since 2016), Republican (prior to 2016)
Faceclaim: Helen Mirren
Main Strengths and Weaknesses:
Moderate to the End: Even after her political career drew near to its end after she lost the 2008 VA Senate election, Cassie has remained steadfastly moderate on many issues (though she has started to drift slightly closer to the center, even left-of-center on some issues). This has made her an outcast in the party that she called home for so long, leading her to become an independent. She has supported her daughter's congressional career, but largely remained silent on the job she thinks her daughter is doing.
Child of the Corn: Cassie is famously an environmentalist, having embraced ethanol during the Republican primaries in 2008 and largely campaigned on it as a significant part of her platform. She is also a policy bank regarding green energy, supporting TVA expansion and other projects that she believes would benefit American society greatly.
A Bygone Era: Cassie is a member of a non-existent wing of the Republican Party. A staunch defender of her views, she has sparred with Republicans across the nation for adopting what she calls "radical, neo-fascist views" that are "not worthy of being expressed on American soil." She has previously made advertisements with the Lincoln Project and other anti-extremist groups that oppose the current projectory of the GOP.
Out of Power and (Likely) Out of Time: Cassie does not hold elected office, and it is extremely unlikely that she will be able to seek office again any time soon. Due to her age (nearing 80), she is not seen as a potential contender for any office, even with her likability score remaining around 65% across the state, and her average approval rating from her tenure being about 57% while she was in office.
Think of Me Fondly: Cassie is looked at as the prime example of how a moderate ought to act. Called "the one humane Republican" by many members of the press, many moderates, a few pro-compromise conservatives, and some liberals remember her quite fondly, placing her in the American middle when it comes to the electorate. Due to her moderate record and her (relatively) active social life, it makes it easier for her to be associated with a simpler time when there was at least one Republican that legitimately wanted to help people using moderate principles. Too bad the only ones left are in New England. Then again, two of the three are leaving office in January 2023...
Bring Americans Together Again™: Cassie coined the term "Bring American Together Again" long before Trump revived Reagan's MAGA, MAGA, MAGA. She almost wonders if red BATA hats would've made her a cult leader. She half-jokingly asked this question on the air once, and Chris Cuomo gave her a unilateral, uncompromising "yes."

RP Sample: I believe that the posts I've made in this RP will suffice.

The below fields will not apply to all characters but may be applicable to yours;
Education: Harvard Law School- MA in Law, Minors in PoliSci and Public Policy
Spouse: Glenn Hepburn-Smith (m. 1970; he died in 2020 due to complications from COVID-19)
Religion: Methodist
Children: Elizabeth "Lilibet" Livingston Flores nee Hepburn-Smith
Parents: Angela Thoreau and Jonathan Livingston
Other Information:
Cassie was well-known for having weekly town halls open to the public across Virginia each week. While she will continued holding weekly town halls open to the public, she did not always stay in Virginia. Voters in Maryland, D.C., and West Virginia have sometimes crossed state lines because they viewed Cassie as their voice in Congress despite having elected officials themselves (except in the case of D.C.). Additionally, Cassie advocated for all US territories holding referendums to determine their futures, focusing on statehood, continued protection as a territory, or independence. Cassie had included D.C., but added a fourth option-- that option being that D.C. could either join Virginia or Maryland. Cassie believes that Ranked-Choice Voting should be used for these issues. Since 2008, Cassie has attended the Al Smith Dinner in New York.

Biography:
Born in 1942, Cassandra Hepburn-Smith nee Livingston is a moderate citizen from Virginia. Cassie grew up in a relatively wealthy family during the end of FDR’s and the start of Truman’s presidencies and was influenced early on to be a moderate Republican by her father (Jonathan) who had been a Republican in the Lodge family tradition his entire life. Living in relative prosperity regardless of how the national economy was faring, Cassie was an only child.

After graduating as the valedictorian of her class, Cassie attended Harvard Law School thanks to her father’s wealth. She graduated in the top third of her class and joined a law firm in Washington, D.C. In the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s, Cassie began working for Republican members of Congress regarding Constitutional law, which she had specialized in. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Cassie wrote dozens of editorials fighting abortion. In 1970, Cassie married Glenn Hepburn-Smith, a corporate lawyer from Maryland. In 1988, they had a daughter (Lilibet) following hard labor that nearly resulted in both mother and child dying. The small family was very happy together, and Glenn retired early in 1991. Cassie continued to work as she was passionate about what she could do.

In 1993, Cassie ran for the position of Virginia Attorney General and won as a Republican moderate; she was reelected in 1997 and 2001, but in 2002 she resigned to run for Senate as the sitting Senator chose to enter early retirement. She easily trounced her opponents in the primary due to her name recognition and state-wide popularity. She differed from other Republicans on a number of issues from abortion to climate change to wages to healthcare. She became increasingly moderate during her tenure as a Senator, perhaps leading to her running for President in 2008 as a moderate hardliner. She was generally seen as too liberal by conservative media commentators, while moderates and some liberals cheered her on (in part because some thought she was the easiest to beat. Cassie carried only a few states in the primaries: Iowa, Virginia, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, and Illinois. All told, she had 202 delegates at the 2008 RNC, placing a close 3rd behind (John McCain) and (Mike Huckabee). Cassie endorsed (McCain) and focused on saving as many Republican seats as possible across the nation. She was not on the ballot for reelection in Virginia as she decided to seek the presidency and did not suspend her campaign in time for the Virginia primaries. It has been speculated that she likely would've held the seat due to her personal popularity.

In 2009, Cassie declined to run for governor, saying that she was "spending additional time with my family" due to the ailing health of her mother, whom had breast cancer. Her father had passed on New Year's Day in 2009, and her mother passed away on Halloween 2010. When she was not spending time with her family, Cassie would occasionally appear on cable news, reacting to different events. Somewhat famously, she publicly expressed support for the Frank-Dodd Act and other (Obama) regulations, though she expressed limited concerns to some degree. During the rest of the (Obama) era, she remained a moderate voice respected by many.

In 2012, Cassie raised her voice to endorse (Mitt Romney) for president, despite speculation that she would make another attempted run for the White House. Instead, she opened Cassie's Bakery in Richmond, employing a small staff to help her run the new business. In mid-2012, Lilibet came out as a lesbian to her parents and explained that her best friend of many years, Sofia Flores, was her girlfriend. Though initially surprised, Glenn and Cassie both came to accept and support their daughter's relationship.

Cassie largely remained politically uninvolved until 2016, when she hit the campaign trail to actively support (John Kasich) across the nation (and her local congressional district to support Lilibet as she ran for Congress under the Democratic ticket). When he failed to defeat (Trump), whom she referred to as the "most unqualified human being to ever run for office, assuming you can even call him remotely human," Cassie endorsed the Libertarian ticket for president, urging her fellow moderates to back Governor (Johnson) and Governor (Weld) as they attempted to bring back some idea of the American center. She actively opposed the (Trump) Administration on Twitter, other social platforms, and in the news. She remained relevant as an "old-style" Republican opposed to (Trump's) brand of Republicanism. "This is not my Republican Party. This is not Reagan's Republican Party. Hell, this isn't Lincoln's Republican Party. There's a reason that Republicans are going to lose in the midterms, and his name is (Donald Trump)."

Despite a movement to draft her for a number of third parties and a draft movement within the GOP, Cassie declined a bid in early 2020 after she and her husband both contracted COVID-19. Glenn died after being on a ventilator for 61 days. Cassie publicly blamed (Trump) for his death, though whether or not that is fair is best left to the public. Cassie's argument is simple: had (Trump) actually done his job, she said, Glenn would be alive and well. In 2020, Cassie spoke at the DNC and endorsed Jim Byron; she was joined by (John Kasich) and many other moderate Republicans in doing so. She called the 2020 election "legitimate despite extremist lies from the MAGA camp" and blamed (Trump) for the Capitol Attack in 2021. She has called for the immediate prosecution of any and all people involved even slightly in the insurrection; in fact, she runs a petition that has well over 10.5 million signatures on a website called MoveOn that is submitted on the first day of each month to Merrick Garland calling for the immediate prosecution of (Trump) and his cronies.

Currently, Cassie remains active in social media circles (for a politician that has been out of power for more than a decade, she has a LOT of followers on many sites), cable media, and some ad-producing groups (she has abandoned the Lincoln Project since it had memebrs dress up as Klan members, calling the move "tactless, wrong, and inappropriate"). She is often seen on MSNBC, NBC, and CNN at least once a month. She has also appeared on GMA now and again. She has essentially been banned from even being mentioned on Fox, and there are rumors that she will host an episode of SNL due to her continued popularity. Cassie was offered a number of positions by the Byron Administration, including various diplomatic posts-- all of which she declined.

Character Application and Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Meretica
Character Name: Elizabeth "Lilibet" Livingston Flores nee Hepburn-Smith
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 34
Character Date of Birth: January 16, 1988
Character Current Office: Representative from VA's 4th Congressional District
Character Past Office: N/A
Character Place of Birth: Richmond, VA
Character State of Residence: VA
Character Party Affiliation: Democratic
Faceclaim: Michelle Donelan
Main Strengths and Weaknesses:
A Traditional Liberal- in This Economy?: Having Republican roots from her parents (and despite her progressive social views, alongside a few key left-wing policy issues), Lilibet is largely a traditional liberal Democrat. She aligns with the likes of (Dick Durbin), (Tammy Baldwin), (Katherine Clark), and (Terri Sewell). Short of being an outright progressive, she is liberal enough to be hated by Republicans but moderate enough to win the few suburban voters in her district. There are fears that she may veer to the center due to her Republican parentage, however, though this seems to be unlikely to happen as she has yet to veer to the center-- rather, a few points to the left.
Little Tenure: Compared to many members of Congress, Lilibet has very little tenure. She was elected in 2016 and has been serving ever since; after she is reelected in 2022, she will have completed a full three terms in the House. As such, she has little influence and has not had a chance to prove herself the way that her mother had that chance many times over.
I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It: Lilibet married her lifelong best friend, Sofia, in 2013. As a lesbian, she has faced some degree of prejudice in Richmond and elsewhere.
Silver Spoon: Like her mother before her, Lilibet grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth. Having lived a comfortable life in the white collar world, almost all of her understanding of blue collar experiences come from the stories shared with her by her in-laws and wife. The Flores family has a number of hands-on blue collar workers, many of whom are part of the Hispanic working class.
Voiceless, Forgettable, Overshadowed: Lilibet has not found her voice. Whereas her strong-willed mother is charismatic, popular, and likable, Lilibet is soft-spoken and easy to overlook. It's hard for her to connect with people at all, and her relationships are few in number (political or otherwise). In fact, many people forget that she exists due to the greater dominance of her mother all over the place. Embarrassingly, her mother-- out of office since 2009-- has five times the average followers, three times the average likes, and twice the average share of social media posts than Lilibet does.
Envy is the Thief of Joy: Lilibet is desperate to prove that she is everything her mother has ever been and more. Determined to prove herself, she believes that she will one day overshadow her mother... as soon as she can put a plan together to do just that. Really, though, she doesn't even want the job-- at this point, she just wants to prove she's better (though her mother is oblivious to this).

RP Sample: Honestly, I think I'm good here...

Biography:

Elizabeth "Lilibet" Livingston Hepburn-Smith has a long name. Elizabeth was for her great-great-great-grandmother on her paternal side. Livingston came from her mother's maiden name. But Lilibet was a different matter-- Glenn long had an odd fondness for studying British royalty, and he opted to call his daughter Lilibet as that had been a nickname for Her Majesty the Queen for decades. Born in 1988, Lilibet was raised in Richmond by moderate-to-liberal Republicans that would play a role in national politics for years to come.

From a young age, Lilibet had been quiet in comparison to her mother. She was more like her father-- quiet, soft-spoken, and easily forgotten. Jokingly, she had once referred to her mother as Chatty Cassie before being promptly sent to bed ten minutes early. She fared well in school, doing above average, and had little interest in politics despite her mother's active involvement in state affairs. Lilibet was 14 when her mother ran for Senate in 2002, and she had minimal interest in Congressional affairs. Her only mild interest in politics came about in 2008, when her mother announced a presidential bid. It was at this time she began to pursue a romantic relationship with Sofia Flores, her long-time best friend. The duo came out as lesbians to their families in 2012, married in 2013, and had a child (Armstrong) vis-a-vis a sperm donor in 2015. Sophia works as a regional Walmart manager.

After graduating college, Lilibet started working for the Richmond Times-Dispatch as a writer. She had a relatively uneventful career, and as time went on, she began to envy her mother's successes and recognition. In 2015, she decided to do something about it by running for the House. Using her limited name recognition from her years as a writer and her much more useful name recognition as the daughter of one of Virginia's more popular retired politicians, her mother. Lilibet narrowly won her primary and was elected by a comfortable margin (around 9 points). As Democrats were in the minority, there was little she could do. She faced three primary opponents in 2018 but beat them all with a plurality of the vote (48%) before being re-elected by a 16-point margin. Lilibet took it upon herself to focus on legislation in the background as she was (and is) a poor speaker. She has thus far failed to propose, sponsor, and pass a major piece of legislation written by her office (though a few amendments she has proposed have been passed).

Re-elected in 2020 after facing token primary opposition, Lilibet is unsure if she will be able to overcome her mother's shadow. If she fails to do so in the 118th Congress, then she will simply give up and retire.

Amadeus Putnam was born in Quincy, Massachusetts to Robert Israel Putnam, a prominent owner of a brokerage firm and Linda McCann Putnam, a paralegal.
Amadeus Putnam’s father was a Protestant and his mother was Roman Catholic. Amadeus Putnam ultimately attended a Catholic High School, where he developed a Catholic Faith. He served on the Model UN, was Captain of the debate and chess team, and ran a Bible Study after school, worried that many Catholics failed to properly understand the Bible.
Amadeus Putnam initially wanted to become a priest, leading to him attending Boston College, however changed his mind during his sophomore year. He earned a double major in economics and philosophy with a minor in divinity.
Amadeus Putnam attended law school at Boston college and graduated in 1988. He passed the bar exam in 1989 and practiced in Boston for six months until deciding the move to New Hampshire, not liking commuting into Boston and dealing with city life and the corporate environment. He could run his own practice in New Hampshire with less of the bustle. Amadeus Putnam began running an amateur radio show in Newbury, New Hampshire from a studio in Concord. He called it Meditations: A Show on Freedom, Faith, and Philosophy. He published a book in 1991 entitled Stoicism Today. The book extolled his beliefs on stoic philosophy It was a modest commercial success and he began going into Boston to do book signings and speak at universities. At one of his book signings he was approached by a young woman named Mackenzie Trafford, she was a graduate student studying psychology at Boston University. She felt stoicism was psychologically unhealthy and showed in an effort to confront Putnam. Putnam engaged in a spirited conversation and encouraged her to read his book and signed it with his contact information, telling her he admired her chutzpah and stoicism is not what she thought. This lead to a lengthy correspondence. When Putnam was back in Boston he met with Kenzie and the two had dinner. This led to a relationship, the two were wed in 1998.
Putnam supported Pat Buchanan in the Republican primaries of 1992 and continued writing during and after the campaign, publishing Stoicism Tomorrow in 1995. In 1996 he supported Pat Buchanan again for President once again and also ran for State Senate. His campaign was marked by aggressive door-knocking, dynamic rallies, and saturation of campaigning, heavily bankrolled by his father and his colleagues. Putnam narrowly squeezed out a victory.
As a State Senator he became known for pushing for a balanced budget and growing the economy of the state. His impassioned and visible status as a State Senator got him re-elected by a comfortable margin in 1998 and 2000.
In 2000 he endorsed Steve Forbes until the businessman dropped out where he switched his endorsement to that of John McCain, due to his popularity in his home state, although he privately preferred Bush.
After 9-11 he eagerly rallied behind the Bush Presidency, but was upset about “No Child Left Behind” and the PATRIOT Act, he called the former “a disaster and a failure” and “Ted Kennedy’s Frankenstein monster.” He called the latter “a stab in the back and an unconstitutional travesty.” He was elected after a long fight for the United States House in 2002 and was an early opponent of the Iraq War and was among few Republicans to voice opposition to the invasion. Putnam joined the Republican Liberty Caucus.
In 2004, despite being a common opponent of the Bush administration, criticizing policies in spending, education, national defense, and civil liberties, Putnam endorsed the President. He campaigned aggressively for his re-election to the House and won a close re-election.
Putnam criticized the Bush administration further and while he did discuss worry about the housing market since prior to his elected After he was elected, he truly began condemning it during Bush’s second term and his ability to distance himself from the President helped him win in 2006 and following his failed Presidential bid, Putnam was re-elected again in 2008. In this next term Putnam joined the Tea Party Caucus and helped form the House Freedom Caucus. In his Presidential campaign, Putnam had won in New Hampshire, Nevada, Alaska, Minnesota, Vermont, District of Columbia, and American Samoa, he was unable to materialize a stronger following. He spoke at the convention and ultimately endorsed Not-John McCain, but did do reluctantly.
In 2009, Amadeus Putnam attended a “Coming Out Day” parade and “came out” about his diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome.
Putnam was an early advocate of the Tea Party Movement and rode the Tea Party Movement to being elected to the US Senate in New Hampshire in 2010.
Putnam ran for President a second time in 2012 and performed better winning more contests including New Hampshire, Minnesota, Maine, Alaska, Idaho, Connecticut, Vermont, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, District of Columbia, Louisiana, and Rhode Island. He suspended his campaign in June but retained his delegates to force a speaking slot at the Republican Convention, in which he offered an endorsement to Not-Mitt Romney and promised to “give Not-Mitt a headache like any good Porcupine would.”
Putnam was an eager opponent of the Not-Obama administration and criticized his spending policy and “big government agenda.” He offered mixed remarks toward Not-Obama’s claims on same-sex marriage in 2012. Saying that he was glad the President had finally “come around to see that I have been right for a decade, but I question his sincerity and wondering if this is just an act of political opportunism and hope that the President is sincere and recognizes the contributions of people like me in the past.”
Putnam continued to criticize the Not-Obama administration in 2016 and accused him of “race baiting” during the Black Lives Matter Protests and called upon Not-Eric Holder to resign. Putnam called for improved policing and better training in de-escalating conflicts to prevent brutality and advocating reducing things like qualified immunity, but also said “facts are stubborn things, and as it has became a national issue I see no legal principle on which the men who killed Not-Trayvon Martin nor Not-Michael Brown can be convicted of any crimes. I do not think that the victims deserved to die, but also believe that those who killed had every right to do so.”
Putnam, however, did attend the occasional Black Lives Matter event and even was invited to speak at several.
Putnam advocated improved school security, not gun control, after Sandy Hook. He took flack for sounding off about stoicism after the shooting stating, “I honestly have little patience for bereaved parents being given soapboxes by the bodypolitic. They are not experts on public policy nor on firearms nor on civil liberties. They’re experts on being sad or distressed. Having these emotions is natural and healthy. Letting these emotions rule you and allowing them to give you ground to undermine the civil liberties of others is deeply troubling. Stoicism teaches us to not let these emotions rule us and lead us down dark and immoral paths and a little bit of stoicism in Connecticut would be a holy endeavor. What happened to them makes it hard for them to be objective, I understand that. If you cannot be objective, however, you should definitely not be treated as an expert or a person with a serious opinion.” He was later pressured to apologize, and he did, but held on his principles by stating, “I want to apologize for all people I offended or minimized while delving into my principles. Now is not an appropriate time to lecture on philosophy or demand fortitude for those going through such pain. I want to let you know that while I disagree, I do not know what it is like to lose a child to such senseless violence and will continue to work on ways to show more empathy.”
In 2015 Putnam announced he would be making a third run for the White House, despite some early sources of optimism, a lot of energy was focused on Not-Trump. When asked about the popularity of Not-Trump he said, “after 2,000 years people still want Barabbas.” He was heavily critical of the billionaire turned politician and questioned his faith in Christianity and conservative principles, and did so compellingly. He was shocked by how impervious the strange and angry man was to any damage.
In 2016 Putnam mourned the loss of Not-Scalia and delivered an impassioned tribute on the floor of the Senate. As a member of the Judiciary committee felt that Not-Merrick Garland should be granted a hearing and if Republicans did not like his appointment, they could simply reject him.
In the 2016 primaries, Putnam managed to win in New Hampshire and Vermont, but had disappointing, but close second-place defeats in Massachusetts and Minnesota. He hung on to win in Maine, and the District of Columbia. He defeated his opponents in the US Virgin Islands as well, although the majority of the delegates were “uncommitted.”
Putnam withdrew from the election citing that he had not gained traction. He promised to defend his senate seat and support the nominee. While Putnam had initially declined to endorse any candidate, and pledged to hold onto his delegates, Kenzie did endorse Not-Cruz for Not-Cruz and wrote on Sunday that she believed that Not-Trump was “most likely a clinical narcissist and a pathalogical liar."
After Trump's wins on Super Tuesday II, including narrow ones, Putnam announced he was diappointed he didn't rush to Not-Cruz's aid earlier and wrote an endorsement. He also stated that Not-Kasich should withdraw from the race. While Cruz performed well for the remainder of March and much of April, After the Acela primaries, Trump had gotten the boosts he needed. Putnam did stump for Cruz in Connecticut and Rhode Island, but recieved little traction.
Putnam withdrew his endorsement after Not-Trump’s comments where he apparently bragged about sexual assault had been leaked and promised to vote for “Only Not-Pence.” He also encouraged Not-Trump to withdraw from the race and allow Not-Pence to be the nominee for President.
Putnam expressed surprise that Not-Trump had won and promised to support him “as his President.”
However, Putnam lost re-election by an extremely narrow margin in 2016. This left his protégé, Dr. Lucien Groves, to effectively lead his movement in Congress,
Amadeus Putnam was a member of the Republican Liberty Caucus and served as its chair from 2013-2015 as well as from 2005-2006.
Although out of power Putnam had mixed reactions to the Trump Administration, but generally was supportive.
Putnam was generally pleased with the Trump administration’s performance. He applauded Not-Neil Gorsuch and considered Gorsuch to be a great pick. He was more critical of Not-Brett Kavanaugh however, but slammed Democrats for “promoting chicanery” to attempt to disqualify the nominee, stating that “I believe the allegations against Not-Mr. Kavanaugh are dubious at their strongest. However if there is something to disqualify him that is true it is that will be his role in serving as an architect of the PATRIOT Act.”
In 2018, Amadeus Putnam sought to run for Governor of New Hampshire, despite being in a crowded primary and a tough general election he ultimately prevailed. His running mate was Col. Horatio Prescott, a retired army officer, small business owner, and former state Senator. Prescott was chosen for being unlike Putnam in many ways, although agreeing with him on many priorities. Prescott differed from Putnam in personality, however, being a straight-talker and direct and speaking in a vernacular tone. He had an imposing masculinity and was not raised wealthy, making him more an ally of the common people. He starkly contrasted to Putnam’s status as “old money” and his often eccentric, pensive, and over-intellectual image.
Putnam was offered a chance to participate in the Lincoln Project. He attended one meeting and left calling it “absurd and spiteful.”
Putnam endorsed Trump for re-election in 2020, although did so late.
Putnam initially said he found “Not-Tulsi Gabbard and Not-Andrew Yang to be great people and real visionaries with integrity, something I cannot say about most politicians in either party” He called “Not-Kamala Harris and Not-Beto O’Rourke are repugnant people of low character.” Not-Gabbard and Not-Yang both appeared on his podcast and spoke warmly of the quirky candidate.”
but was sharply critical of the lawsuits. He wrote to the papers explaining that while in any election as large as 2020 voter fraud was going to be inevitable, overturning the results of five states was going to be next to impossible. Even if Not-Trump found evidence of fraud, already counted ballots are going to be hard to be demonstrably fraudulent nor expunged in the narrow window of time allotted. He expressed sympathy to concerns over unethical and illegal processes in balloting, like ballot harvesting, but noted that determining which ballots were harvested and which were not was impossible now that they have been counted and we legally cannot change counted and cast votes at this time, let alone in five states. He felt Not-Trump should concede defeat “like a gentleman” and exit office “in a dignified manner.” He compared him negatively to Not-Al Gore and Not-Stacy Abrams.
Not-Trump criticized Putnam personally rather than the contents of his article. He threatened to sue Putnam and questioned his legal knowledge and said he would be calling the New Hampshire bar association. He promised a primary challenger to the Senator and called him a traitor. Putnam received a small amount of hate mail for it, and filmed himself in New Hampshire reading it aloud, correcting the bad grammar and factual errors, and then burning it in a firepit in his backyard.
After January 6th’s riot, Putnam stated he disagreed that Not-Trump had incited the riot, but did feel reasonably suspicious that Not-Trump “failed to do his job as commander in chief” by failing to act to quell the riot. Putnam said, “today, the President Not-Trump failed to show leadership and should step down, seeing he clearly doesn’t want to do the job.”
When the House issued impeachment orders against the President, Putnam encouraged members of the House to add “Dereliction of Duty” to the charges, ultimately it was not added.
Putnam proved to be an effective and popular governor in New Hampshire and during his first term recreational marijuana was decriminalized, criminal justice reform measures to remove things like three strike laws for non-violent offenses also ended. Putnam helped develop small businesses in Concord, Manchester, and Portsmouth. School performance also increased in New Hampshire and choices expanded.
Putnam also worked with local governments to develop light rail in Manchester and Concord.
Putnam faced a minor challenge from a pro-Trump Republican in 2022, however the opponent’s candidacy fizzled due to limited funds and Putnam’s connections with the New Hampshire Republican Party.
Putnam accepted their nomination in July despite his enthusiasm for the result in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Healthcare Center, he issued an amicus brief for the decision. Following it, Putnam announced that he would submit legislation that would outlaw abortion, except in extenuating circumstances (such as health, fetal defects, rape, and incest) after 18 weeks in New Hampshire. The bill was controversial, but ultimately was passed.
Putnam was re-elected in a close, but not overly challenging race.
The Libertarian Party once again is inviting Putnam to run as its nominee for President in 2024. Putnam is considering it. However, thus far he has said “I have the job I want now.”
Putnam has shown interest in building a movement and is drafting like-minded Republicans and Democrats to run for the United States House in 2024. He has worked with Dr. Lucien Groves (R-IA-04) to help recruit Republicans and a libertarian-leaning Democrat, Willow Bakker (D-NY-17) to find likeminded Democrats.
Amadeus Putnam is a member of a number of organizations including being a prominent member of the Federalist Society, the Knights of Columbus, the Sons & Daughters of the American Revolution, Opus Dei, and the Knights of St. John (Knights of Malta). Amadeus Putnam also has an honorary doctorate in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America and an honorary doctorate of Public Policy from the University of New Hampshire.

He also has a hedgehog he received as a gift in 2018 and allowed her name to be decided in an online poll with only known members of the Free State Project being allowed to vote on the animal, letting them know she’d be their mascot. The poll ultimately selected “Granny” short for “Granite.” As New Hampshire is “the Granite State.” Granny has been relatively shy and has enjoyed some popularity, but not the same as Outlaw. His new ferrets also have not gained the same popularity as Outlaw did, but have not been unpopular among his supporters. Putnam credits his loss in 2016 to the lack of his “partner in crime.”
Putnam's secret service codename is "Fortitude." Kenzie's is "Foresight."

I understand the Rules: New Luciannova

PS- I was hoping to keep Putnam in the Senate until 2022 and have him successfully run as an Independent for Governor, although that appeared to be against the rules.
