Thinking of a private investigator character. Sometimes he could find people (for example locate a Jedi for the Empire or some kind of anti-Empire individual or even find people for private employers), other times he could solve murders, etch. Most likely on Coruscant.

•Character Full Name: Rhys Aatahl
•Gender: Male
•Race/Species: Miraluka
•Age: 19
•Physical Appearance: His kind does not see as we do...
•Homeworld: Alpheridies
•Personality:
Though he often comes off as a quiet and brooding person, Rhys exhibits a sort of blind compassion in his actions. Whether it is due to the peaceful temperament of his people, his adherence to the Code, a certain childlike innocence that never seemed to go away - or a combination of the three - Rhys shows an almost selfless drive to uplift and care for those around him. He cannot stand the suffering of others, to such extents that he often finds himself unable to fight in a manner not in defense of himself or his allies. And though his training as a Jedi has yet attempted to dampen these thoughts, his growing ability to use the Force to empathize with others' emotions has only heightened his compassion for others. In recent years, this has come to be a double-edged sword. As his non-confrontational nature has made him a selfless mediator and caretaker, so too has it made him an almost cowardly warrior in the face of grave danger - an attitude that could easily endanger the lives of not only himself, but of those around him. As such, the horrors of war and the nigh-extermination of all he holds dear have led him to grow dangerously close to succumbing to despair and despondence. His emotional temperament in the face of these trying times, and his sensing of the suffering and deaths of not only his peers, but countless innocent souls at the hands of the rising Galactic Empire, have pitted him in a ceaseless battle within his own mind. Nevertheless, he knows full well that he must trust in his training to avoid giving in to his emotions, and has since attempted to find solace in both meditation and more scholarly pursuits.
•Biography:
While nearly all Miraluka are born with some form of innate force-sensitivity, not all were worthy to be raised in the ways of the Jedi. It was this reason that a relatively unknown family on the world of Alpheridies saw it as a blessing to offer their young son to their Jedi protectors. Even before the boy Rhys was whisked away to begin his training, he could sense the energy around him; hear, and in some cases, even understand the voices that came to him that none other could. Everything, from the happiness and joy of his childhood friends, to the sorrow of those mourning the death of a loved one - memories, good and ill, would flash by his mind. It was a gift, he was told. And it was a gift he could use for the betterment of the entire galaxy. Following a short preliminary period at the Culu Memorial Center, Rhys was soon transferred to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant under the tutelage of a fellow Miralukan Jedi Master, Esula Yan.
When the boy first began his training on Coruscant, the brooding youngling was quickly found to have a sharp wit and exceptional intellect. It was these mental faculties and his strong connection to the Force that caught the eye of some of the Order's more experienced Consulars. He took a particular liking to history, and spent much of his free time within the temple's extensive libraries and archives. However, as he aged, some of the Masters remarked that the boy was scholarly to a fault. What talents he possessed in the academic and telepathic arts, he lacked in martial skill and courage. Despite his inherent Force Sight making defending himself a trivial task against even some more skilled opponents, the battlemasters would often chastise him in duels for being unable to willingly attack, and leading to many of his fellow padawans ridiculing him as a coward. These events often left the timid padawan conflicted, and it grew exceedingly clear that if he were to undergo his trials, he would fail spectacularly. Some of the more militaristic Jedi Masters suggested that the Council simply sentence him to the Service Corps, deeming the boy a liability on any field of battle. However, in an occasion that surprised not only the more senior Jedi Masters, but also the young padawan in question, Master Yan intervened against such a decision. Her case rested upon the potential she saw within the boy, and she requested that the Council simply allow her more time to prepare the aspiring padawan for knighthood. Thankfully, this request was granted by a slim margin.
While Master Yan believed this balance between intellect and might would be achieved in time, she likewise made sure that her apprentice's talents did not go to waste. Within a short few years, Rhys' interests shifted gradually to the art of healing. Grave injury was commonplace among Jedi sent out on dangerous missions around the galaxy, and as such, the Sages were always prepared to care for any that may be confined to the Halls of Healing. Under the instruction of Master Yan directly, as well as her fellow Jedi in the Medical Corps, the padawan quickly found a calling in the art of mending not only the wounds of the body, but also those of the mind. These newfound abilities, as well as his effort to slowly hone his martial skill, would eventually reward him with the time outside he probably needed.
At the height of the Clone Wars, many previously peaceful worlds found themselves consumed and torn asunder by the destruction the Republic and CIS wrought against one another. To protect and aid those in need, the Order often sent their own not just as leaders for the war effort or diplomats to forge alliances and truces, but also as caretakers and doctors to care for displaced refugees. With the need for more healers at an all-time high, Yan and her padawan were sent alongside other sages to the frigid, war-torn world of Mygeeto, where they remained for some time in service to the clone legions operating there, commanded by Master Ki-Adi-Mundi.
The single year he spent on Mygeeto would offer just as much if not more learning experience than all the ones at the Jedi Temple. He worked tirelessly among doctors, medics, and his fellow sages, providing food and shelter to the civilian and native population while tending to the wounds of the clones and Jedi that protected them. It was here that he distinguished himself as a compassionate Jedi, even by his master's standards. While even the clones that fought and died for the Republic admitted themselves to be expendable, the padawan often went out of his way to make sure every soul was taken care of. In fact, it was the clones that piqued a particular interest in him. Rhys noted the identical manner in which they were trained from birth, but how war had molded each individual in a seemingly different way. Over time, the padawan felt as though the seemingly expendable, worthless soldiers were more human than he believed - growing to consider some of these troopers under his care not just as allies, but friends.
It wasn't until 19 BBY that he would find these experiences and presumed friendships on Mygeeto unceremoniously crashing down around him. As the situation had grown ever more dire and the sages' manpower across the planet stretched ever more thin, Rhys and his Master often found themselves having to man entire field hospitals by their lonesome, either near the front lines or the more secure stations in the cities. While resting within one of these hospitals, sheltering himself from one of the planet's routine bouts of heavy snowfall, the young padawan was suddenly wracked with pain. He doubled over in his quarters, as a cacophony of visions and voices raced through his mind. Thousands of voices, crying out in agony all at once - a swirling torrent of chaos and pain that he fought to contain and interpret. Though he did not fully grasp what he saw, he quickly understood that something terrible was happening.
He rushed out into the snowstorm to the nearest station housing some of the wounded - a place he knew Master Yan had been - only to find her body already cold on the floor, loomed over by a single armed clone. Frozen in shock, and with the pain still coursing through his psyche, he called out to the trooper, pleading for an explanation. But instead of answers, he was met with the brandishing of a blaster.
The exchange happened all too quickly, and was over before he knew it. Seemingly on instinct, the padawan drew his lightsaber for real combat for the first time, and with a single swift deflection, the clone fell. One of the many soldiers with whom he had stood side-by-side--the first life taken by his own hand.
But circumstances waited for no one. Rhys slipped out and into the blizzards in what was practically a listless daze. He called out with the Force--in vain to his departed master, and to whatever nearby Jedi might still be alive to answer. But no one came. He wandered and wandered through the desolate and war-torn base, before finally succumbing to freezing cold. Death could have claimed him then and there.
Whether it were luck, or his search finally bearing fruit, the timely arrival of another of his peers--a fellow Jedi, who seemed just as disheveled and haggard as he--spared him from this fate. He roused the speechless padawan to his feet, sneaking to the nearest unguarded ARC-170 starfighter at the far end of the base before clambering aboard. While the young padawan was too shell-shocked at the time, his comrade was thankfully composed enough to employ the sages' mental trickery to narrowly escape fighter patrols on their way out, speeding into hiding amidst a rallying call to Odessen.
Or, at least, that was as far as he could remember.
Compared to the other Jedi that fled into exile on Odessen, Padawan Rhys was easily one of the most shaken of them. With frayed nerves leaving him almost detached from the world as a whole, it would be days before he would even speak. And even afterwards, during the sessions of training and occasional study in the abandoned archives, he found himself lost in despondence or plagued with visions and memories of those long lost. Most of the masters would advise him to meditate, but even this only helped to a small degree. Overall, his stay on Odessen did little to ease his worries or draw him any further out of his introverted shell. This was not to say his peers cared little of him or thought him weak, however. In fact, it was here that he garnered a friendship with one of his peers - a Knight by the name of Vrudun Tumara - who soon became his new Master. But as fate would have it, this advancement in his training would prove to be short-lived.
The enclave of exiles would last for roughly a few months before the Empire would find them. A swift invasion force would attack their temple directly, and a pitched battle commenced between the Jedi and the Imperials, supported by force-wielding dark-siders, no doubt remnants of Jedi that had since fallen from the light in lieu of the Order's fall...
•Force Abilities:
Like most Jedi of his species, Rhys boasts a masterful grasp of the innate Force Sight he's had since birth, which in turn boosts his precognitive senses and reflexes by a considerable degree. In addition, his training as a Jedi has seen him rely more upon Force-based abilities overall - partially out of compensation for lackluster swordsmanship, but also because of his extensive study of and overall interest in the Force's many applications, both on and off the battlefield. He has taken a liking to telepathy and mind tricks, preferring them to settling disputes with violence, and in recent years as an aspiring Sage, he has since begun to specialize in the art of Force Healing. Rigorous study has even led him to dabble in more eccentric abilities, such as Crucitorn and Astrogation.

•Character Full Name: Kedoa Nissah
•Gender: Female
•Race/Species: Zabrak
•Age: 25
•Physical Appearance: Such fire in thine eyes, hungering for righteousness!
•Homeworld: Iridonia
•Personality:
A gung-ho, almost vigilante-type, Kedoa has inherited much of her personality from her master: Callous, impatient, blunt, and holding her own pride in high regard. She does not like being doubted or looked down upon, and this pride often manifests in caustic remarks or open condescension towards those she deems not worth her time. And when faced with anything she perceives as incompetence or absurdity, she is definitely not above expressing her disdain for it. Much of this attitude is the result of both her rigorous and often miserable upbringing beneath her incredibly strict mentor, and her origins as little more than an illiterate street urchin, thereby leading to her feeling grossly overshadowed by her fellow Jedi during her youth. This seemingly "competitive" environment to her, coupled with her own ambitions, has led to her developing a severe inferiority complex towards her more experienced peers, or any that she perceives as being better than her.
Thankfully though, this deep-seated drive to succeed has cultivated a strong work ethic in Kedoa since her knighting. When under pressure, she is incredibly focused and exhibits an almost desperate strive for perfection in her training and work. At the same time, experience over the past few years has served to humble her somewhat. She has since grown to harbor a strong sense of justice, although her methods of dispensing said justice are often harsh. She abhors slavers and those that take advantage of the poor and innocent, and is certainly not above taking unorthodox measures to combat them if the opportunity presents itself.
Personally speaking, Kedoa comes off as a confident, honourable, and fiercely determined Jedi Knight. A Zabrak that never seemed to completely abandon her roots. But despite this hot-headed and impulsive nature, she nonetheless seems to have a genuine underlying care for those around her, even if her own pride rarely allows her to show it.
•Biography:
To describe the young Kedoa Nissah's upbringing as an austere one would be an understatement. Before being taken by the Jedi Order, the girl that would eventually grow into a fiery youngling was brought up a slave laboring in the vast underbelly of Nar Shaddaa, serving a Hutt that she didn't even know the name of. Separated from her biological parents as an infant, her only "guardians" were slaves much like herself, and the beatings for disobedience were all that taught her to do as she was told. All in all, she would easily have lived a short, insignificant life until being killed for disobedience or worked to death were it not for the intervention of a certain Jedi Master - a Togruta by the name of Toran Kin. It was on this Jedi's diplomatic mission that he crossed paths with the child - a pitiable thing, as skilled in being a servant as she was speaking a lick of Galactic Basic. But feeling the pull of the Force within her, and seeing the clear suffering in the girl's eyes, seemed to force the Master's hand. In an action that went almost unnoticed by her fellow servants, Kin whisked the child away beneath his cloak, carrying her straight back to Coruscant.
During her early years at the Jedi Temple, Kedoa's possibly traumatizing upbringing on Nar Shaddaa quickly became a problem. While other younglings were taught the nature of the Force, she lacked many of the key social and life skills expected of those her age, including the very basics of reading and writing. This set her behind most of the initiates of her age group and often left her sidelined with the younger children for the first few years of her training. At the same time, it would even lead to her being a target of ridicule--events that would often culminate in bitter rivalries between her and the more unfriendly of her peers. And though her Master's strict regimen and discipline managed to prevent her from becoming an unruly delinquent, this upbringing would inevitably hamper his padawan's trust in others.
On the flip-side, this environment would serve the harden the young Kedoa's resolve. What she lacked in intellect was made up for by strength of will and an unwavering drive to better herself. While Master Kin's position as one of the Battlemasters saw her learn many lightsaber forms, she took a liking to Juyo, and later the Vaapad variant pioneered by Master Windu. It was with this unorthodox form--drawing from the user's deepest emotions to fuel violent and decisive strikes--that she eventually grew to distinguish herself as a skilled fighter. She grew to be capable of besting padawans quite a few years older than her, and even succeeded in holding her own against Master Cin Drallig long enough to earn his good graces. And as her grasp of the Force grew stronger, so too did her zealous adherence to the Jedi Code.
But even after Kedoa shed the mantle of padawan, some of the other Masters saw flaws in the passionate young Knight that Kin could not. To many of them, the problem lied with Master Kin and his teachings themselves. Kin, though an avid practitioner of the Light Side, was a militaristic Jedi. He was no-nonsense, stubborn, blunt, and often said to have a problematic ego - and some feared that these qualities had already begun to rub off on his fiery apprentice. These flaws hampered her in many fields and skills that were expected of Jedi Knights, particularly those of diplomacy, humility, and restraint. Nevertheless, a Knight she was, and the Council was not about to put her talents to waste.
Her first major contribution to the war effort came when she and her master were sent to Geonosis. It was there that they joined Master Windu's strike team in the daring but pyrrhic rescue mission that saw the deaths of many of her fellow Jedi. This first bitter taste of war would stick with Kedoa for the remainder of her time on the craggy, war-torn planet, which would last for three more long years.
The execution of Order 66 unfolded for her in a similar fashion to the countless other Jedi Generals that had been preoccupied with leading the Republic forces. Following a strike against the waning CIS-controlled strongholds, she returned from a routine scouting mission only to be accosted by the very clones she had led into battle just a day prior. While she was successful in fending them off, the loss of communication with her master during the chaos forced Kedoa to backtrack. She searched desperately for Master Kin and the remaining Knights and Padawans that had been transferred there, cutting down swathes of clones that dared to stand in her way. But try as she might, she found not a single of her brothers or sisters left alive, with even her beloved Master eventually overcome by the sudden betrayal of their own soldiers. Alone and stranded, it was here that the fiery Knight came closest to succumbing to her grief and anger--the closest she strayed to slipping away from the light of the Code.
But her judgement would not falter that day. She would not fall without first seeing justice done. Vowing to one day avenge whomever was responsible for the unforgivable slaughter of their Order, Kedoa slipped away from the warzones in silence, bouncing between hijacked starships and stowing away in derelict freighters until she was off Geonosis and into the wider Galaxy.
Her initial exile took her to Odessen, where she arrived among the last to answer Master Shan's call...
•Force Abilities:
While hardly a master of wielding the Force, Kedoa is still familiar with the standard abilities that are known to your average Jedi Knight. She has taken a preference for abilities that enhance her physical attributes and combat prowess, such as Force Speed, Force Agility, and Saber Throw.
